I had a hard time picking how many stars to put for this review because my first experience with one employee was bad (horrible customer service and worthy of 1 star), but then I was helped by another employee who was very nice and helpful (5 stars). Here's what happened: I knew this location was open 24 hours, but I called around 6:30 p.m. to see if their photo center was also open 24 hours and to see if I could get my photos printed if I came in late that night. The lady I spoke to said yes. I went in at 10:40 p.m. and put in my order for my pictures on the self-serve computer. Then I went to the front to tell the employee I had done it and asked if I could get them printed please (the receipt said they would be ready at 1 a.m. but they always do it right away if you ask). She said I would have to wait till 1 a.m. because their photo computers updated from 11 to 1 and she wouldn't be able to print anything during that time. I said, "okay, but it's 10:50." And it would not take more than 5 minutes to print 20 4x6 photos. She insisted that it still wouldn't be possible because she was helping other customers check out and couldn't go over to the photo center right then (she was the only one on the clock). I found it strange that she was willing to help all the customers in line behind me rather than spend 10 seconds to walk to the photo computer and press one button for me (who was in front of all the other waiting customers). But maybe she felt that the customers checking out come before someone who needs other assistance. So I waited. I let everyone go in front of me while I waited, and hoped that she would finish all these customers before 11 p.m. and then I could convince her to help me. As I waited, I noticed one customer who got in line wearing a Walgreens shirt (an employee, barely off the clock, buying something on her way out). She asked, "are you in line?" And I told her I was waiting for help at the photo center. She said she could help me. She walked the 30 feet to the photo center and pressed 1 button and my pictures were printing. It took 5 seconds, maybe 10 tops. I was so grateful! I was there on Saturday night trying to print photos for Mother's Day the next day and she totally saved me! As I checked out, the original lady who wouldn't help me said "sorry about that. I couldn't legally ask for her help since she wasn't on the clock." But honestly, that doesn't matter. She didn't need help! It would have taken her 10 seconds to help me and save me 2 hours of waiting! But she wasn't willing. read more

We love them here at this pharmacy. Especially the tech Michelle, always cheerful, helps both my husband and I with our scripts any questions or concerns. They work in a very stressful industry and get more negative than positive feedback. This place to me deserves more positive. Thanks for all you do! read more

Pharmacy is always awful. My husband just had back surgery and needed his pain pills which they didn't have and wanted me to find somewhere who had them and have the doctor write a new prescription to that pharmacy they could've found another Walgreens that had some on hand and filled the prescription from there or had it sent over, but it was way too much of a bother. It is impossible to reach the pharmacy over the phone. Last month, I waited 45 minutes; today, I waited 1 hour and 55 minutes, and nobody answered. I do not think it is the employees' fault; it is a management issue, and there is insufficient coverage for a busy location. I even drove to the area; the drive-through was closed during the pharmacy hours at 3 pm. I could see a long line through the window, so I called instead. Little did I know that talking to someone was impossible. How can this be resolved? I like the pharmacy since they always carry the needed medication for my son, which requires a monthly refill. However, it is impossible to refill it, and it is challenging monthly. The only reason I am leaving this review with the hope the management can provide the needed support for this location. It is unfair to the employees to hear upset customers; I have seen plenty of that. read more

Absolutely abysmal service. It's almost impossible to get a real person in your actual pharmacy on the phone. The automated service just keeps telling you that they can help you when in fact they cannot. Eventually, it just sends you to customer care which is some big corporate office where no one can help you there either. Finally, if you're lucky you get sent to your actual pharmacy. Unfortunately, this one's so busy or incompetent that it takes 25 minutes to an hour to get someone on the phone. They are always understaffed and too busy and prescriptions are constantly delayed because there's no one to work on them. Multiple times I have been given a time in which my prescription will be done and when I get there, they tell me it will be another half hour. I am taking all my prescriptions somewhere else because the service here is ridiculously poor. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would!! This pharmacy is horrible. I've tried for 10 days to get a hold of them to fill a prescription that I've had with them for 27 years. They DO NOT answer the phone. I was put on indefinite hold and told I was the "next caller". I drove to the pharmacy while on hold and walked in while still on hold, and no one was on the phone. The pharmacy tech told me they were way too busy to answer the phone. That's super professional! Then they didn't have my prescription ready and told me it had been cancelled. They wouldn't fill the prescription at all. Their automated system doesn't work. It says they have your prescription but they never fill it. They are just horrible!! I have moved all prescriptions to another pharmacy and I will never use Walgreens again! And I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to use their service either. I'm not sure how they're still in business. I'm sure they won't be for long with these practices. read more

Very poor service. I took my 95 year old mother in for a flu shot. They advertise and always taken walk ins. But this time they said they couldn't do it. my mother walks very slow and it is difficult to park, walk in from the parking lot, through the store to the very back corner and then be told they won't do it because they want everyone to have appts. This pharmacy totally sucks. I know like other places they take there time, but this has to be the worst. They never answer the phone and they are incompetent. My wife had surgery and is in a lot of pain. We dropped off the prescription and they told us it would take 2 hours. Just over 2 hours I went to pick up and they said there was an issue with our insurance and they didn't fill the prescription. I gave them the insurance again as they made an error before and said it would be another 30 minutes or so to fill. What a joke! If they were slightly competent, they would have called or at least filled the prescription and had the insurance corrected at pick up. Hate these people. I wish there was a way to give zero stars. This pharmacy needs to be assisted on its current path to a very slow death. There is no such thing as customer service at this Pharmacy. That is sad BUT that is not dangerous. Dangerous is when the employees pay no attention to detail, they are slow and they are not accurate. The lines are always long and generally there are plenty of employees present, but none of them assist. Every time I tell a provider to use Walgreens at Draper Parkway they ask: "Are you sure?" I guess I should have considered myself warned many times. Here is my most recent interaction: Me: Hi I am here to pick up an RX and I have a new insurance (1-14-21- doesn't everyone) Pharmacist: - Took 15 minutes to type new number into computer system. I then watched as he added 5 other peoples Rx's into the computer. The line INSIDE was 8 people deep. He said - sorry it doesn't work. Me: What do you mean? Him: It says no such person Me: I just used it at Costco pharmacy - please try again Him: huffs - types for 10 more minutes and says - oh it worked Me: what was the difference? Him: I typed in the right numbers..... 90 minutes later... Me: I have been waiting for my RX and my app keeps telling me its ready and then immediately tells me that it is too soon to fill this RX. I just got the RX for the first time 2 hours ago Him: yeah we messed up and put it in and can't back it out Me: Were you going to tell me that or just keep me waiting here. We are going on 2 hours of wait? Him: I have to call the help desk to get it resolved. Me: When will you do that? Him: Probably tomorrow. I was waiting for ear drops - fyi 2.5 hours later my RX was in a bag and I paid my $5.62. I got home and they gave me someone elses RX - eye drops. FOLKS - Consider yourself warned. Pharmacy is terrible. Even when you get a text your pick up is ready, it's not, I'm always waiting 30 minutes. A lot of the time they don't even have it and you go days without. Legally how they do that, I'm not sure. There are many better ones in the area. Someone needs to investigate this location. The staff are always rude and unprofessional. I only gave it 1 star because I have to give it a star rating. Poor service, shady things go down, illegal things, it's really gone downhill. Don't use this place anymore! The pharmacists mess up our orders, give us less than the pills we were supposed to get, medications we didn't reorder, they "accidentally forget" to refill meds we've called in, and so much more. In fact, they've given us the wrong prescription THREE TIMES! They even gave us someone else's prescriptions! Then when we went to return it, the woman BLAMED US FOR HER MISTAKE! I went into this store looking for an item that their Riverton location said they had in stock. When I arrived they did not have it on the shelf so I asked a couple of their employees if they had some in the back. One guy said no while another went looking for it. As I was standing by the stock room door I witnessed the one who said they don't have any of what I was looking for place multiples of the item on a shelf in the back and then over heard him say these are for me. This location absolutely sucks! The parking lot is inconvenient and such a hassle to deal with. Walgreens is always overpriced and this location is no exception to that rule. The service is mediocre at best, it's not a rarity to see the shelfs empty, selection is hit or miss depending on the item, and they're always busy; especially since they're 1 of 2 Walgreens on this side of the Valley that're open 24/7, as is the pharmacy. Ech! I really don't see the fascination of any Walgreens at all. The pharmacy employees are so busy that they ignore the customer standing right in front of them and forget about getting your prescription in a timely manner, specially if they are a 24 hour store. I don't really blame the employees, it seems as if they are over worked and under staffed, I blame the greedy corporation instead. As far as the drive thru, no thanks. I'd rather not sit and idle my car for forty five minutes only to find out that my prescription isn't ready and that I have to repeat the process again. I'm also not impressed with their prices, specially on makeup. Their sales which promote buy one get the other half off, really is no savings if you calculate how much higher their price is as compared to any where else. I have noticed that sometimes these promotions/sales don't ring up right at the register, so consumers beware. Half the time they don't have the items I'm looking for in a drug store and each time I've gone into a Walgreens I come out dumbfounded asking myself why I went in to begin with. Their customer service is subpar as well. I have yet to be shown exactly where a certain item is, instead I get a half hearted attempted and arm pointing to an area in the corner of the store. Wow, thanks for going out of your way. Confused and very dissatisfied I leave the store empty handed. I guess this place just is not my cup of tea. read more
