I went to get my passport photo taken here. When I previewed the photo on the computer it was fine but when it was printed it was of poor quality. But i already paid and this was the second Walgreens I tried so I gave up and left. The guidelines for passport photos are very clear. For a store to promote that they provide passport photos and not meet those standard is beyond frustrating. What a waste of money. read more

Really slow. You will wait at least 15 minutes in line. People are nice, however there are not enough of them. Find a different pharmacy.

I don't know what they are doing in there. I pulled up and waited about 5 minutes then rang the call button. She came on and said she would help me when she could. 15 more minutes and nothing. I can see people standing at the counter inside also waiting. There are three cars behind me in line. A man inside just threw his arms up and walked away. 25 minutes and nothing. In my entire life I have never experienced customer service more consistently horrible than this Walgreens. After almost a year of filling my prescriptions here due to its proximity to my home, I now drive out of my way to avoid filling prescriptions here. There is always a line, and I have never waited less then 20 mins to pick up ALREADY FILLED prescriptions! The pharmacy employees do not acknowledge your presence or even look up, as you stand in the ever increasing line. My experience with this pharmacy have been so unpleasant that I have contemplated calling the corporate number. Make that five stars for the clinic, two for the pharmacy. I had a great experience at the clinic here. I came down with a really bad ear infection and wanted to see someone right away. My primary care doctor is far away, you can't always get in the same day, and it costs a lot of money. Plus, even when you have an appointment, you have to sit there for like an hour before you are seen. After using the clinic here, I decided there's absolutely no point in sticking with my overpriced PCP. The care here was timely and fantastic, the folks were polite, and it was a fraction of the cost of what I would have paid at my doctor's office. The PA actually spent a lot of time with me, which was nice too. Five stars! That great experience was quickly offset when I tried to pick up my meds at the pharmacy. (Literally like 10 feet away and a whole different world.) I went up to the counter and put in the order. They said, we'll call you in 15 minutes. I sat down on a chair facing the counter (no more than 15 feet away). After 30 minutes of sitting there in pain looking right at them, I went up to the counter and asked where my medicine was. They were all, Oh, that's been ready for at least 20 minutes! Didn't you hear us call you? Apparently when it's ready, they page you over the loudspeaker system, which is all scratchy in garbled. So I hadn't heard it. Then they made me go to the end of the (long) line and wait again. My thought: Okay, I didn't hear it. That's arguably my fault. (Though it seems like at most pharmacies they come to the counter and say your name, so it was a little confusing.) But my main beef: I've been sitting here this whole time looking right at you. How long were you going to wait before you said, oh, did you hear that your medication's ready? Hmmm? My advice: go to their clinic and send your meds to another pharmacy. This is slowest pharmacy I have ever encountered. I've literally waited in line for up to 30 minutes of not more just to pick up a prescription the few times I've been. Sometimes I have my dog with me who doesn't do well in the car alone so the convenience of the drive thru is why I come and thinking they'll be faster the next time around but nope. I frequent this place because it is close in times that you need something ASAP, but everything (probably apart from the junk food) is overpriced. If you need cosmetics or something you can wait to buy, you are better off at going to Target. The pharmacy can be quick (never go through the drive through) and you're able to fill prescriptions using an app on your phone. They have a RedBox as well. read more

1- the pharmacy is a JOKE. If you are in need of something and it is important to you that you get it in a timely manner go elsewhere. On many occasions I have tried to fill prescriptions here and they either don't have it in stock or cannot fill it that day... what the f is the point of a pharmacy if you can't do either of these things? It isn't as if I am stopping by for a pack of gum, I actually need medication! I was recently released from the hospital after being admitted for a few days and sent my poor and now super frustrated husband here to get a two prescriptions filled. About a half hour later they filled one and then informed him they couldn't fill the other one, that they could transfer it to another pharmacy 40 minutes away. (He did drive to the 40 min away location and guess what?!?!?! THEY COULDN'T FILL IT EITHER). SERIOUSLY.By this time it was too late to get it filled that day by anyone. 2-simple prescriptions take FOREVER to fill here, if they have them in stock that is. I don't know who they have running this sh#% show but they need to get someone who is competent and knows what they are doing. Never have I had such issues trying to get a prescriptions filled. I recommend the grocery store on 26th and federal (or anywhere else), it won't take as long and they seem better equipped to handle it. read more

I hate this place. Every time I go to pick up my prescription they leave me standing there waiting for waaay too long. They never acknowledge customers and and time my prescription isn't ready they 'forget' to call my name and I end up waiting longer for no reason. This pharmacy is very slow and disorganized. They have failed to process my prescription requests multiple times which has meant me showing up to the pharmacy to find that the prescription is still not ready despite me having requested it 1-2 days prior. So then I get to sit and wait around at the store for upwards of 30 minutes while they fill it. In their defense, this particular location is always very busy, to the point that it's even hard to find parking sometimes. But they definitely seem to have a hard time keeping up with how busy they are. I'm going to start driving the extra 3 miles to the next closest walgreens instead of coming back to this one. read more

Terrible customer service. I called to check on my prescription after my doctor let me know he called it in. I called and they said they didn't see the prescription in their que, I told them I was called in 30 minutes prior. The less than cheery pharmacy tech or pharmacist said "I'm so busy I won't even look at your prescription for another hour and a half". She then equally as enthused told me it would take an hour to fill after that and then hung up the phone. Had it not been an inconvenience to my physician I would have had him call another pharmacy. Just awful. I'm not an inpatient person, and having worked retail and customer service, I get that some customers want things within 30 seconds upon arrival. BUT OH MY GOSH, I will NEVER use this pharmacy again. Like so many of these posters, they're convenient because they're so close to my house. Things that have happened: - 2 techs standing around while there are 10 people in line. One tech was eating chips out of a big bad while standing next to the computer. I hope they wash their hands before they handle my scripts. - They confused me and my sister-in-law (we have the same last name) and called to tell me that my prescription was ready (the prescription was a bit sensitive so I told Walgreens that they had the wrong patient). I didn't want to embarrass my sis in law. But I'm pretty sure they gave away confidential medical information. - They confused my medication with my pet's medication (also called into walgreens) - The WAITING TIMES. HOURS. I've left after 45 minutes and called to ask my doc to call the script into another pharmacy and cancel the one for walgreens) - If you try to call in, you're on hold for at least 50 minutes and then when you get someone, they're so pissed off and annoyed, sometimes they hang up before you're done with your questions. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST! Because it's super duper close to my home, I've used these guys to fill prescriptions for the last couple years, and I really don't know why I even keep trying. After today, I'm DONE! Wait times are always SUPER long. Their staff is rude and unprofessional. Worst of all, I have some sort of mishap EVERY time I go. Last time, after waiting literally 30 minutes to get to the counter, the pharmacy technician decided they don't take my Cigna insurance. I went back to my car and called Cigna, and low and behold they do. I had to wait forever again to get to the counter, AGAIN. I think that Walgreens adventure took a total of an hour and 35 minutes between waiting, filling etc. People make mistakes, but it's constant! Today I had to go to Urgent Care for bronchitis/sinus infection, and the called my prescription in for me. Because it's Sunday, the gal at the Urgent Care told me to wait until 9 to go to Walgreens as they might not be open yet- even THAT was too early! They don't open til 10 on Sundays. I suppose I could have checked hours, but I can't even wrap my head around that- it's Walgreens in a busy place! Many Walgreens are 24 hours! In the meantime I went to buy some DayQuil to squelch my symptoms. I accidentally dropped the box on the floor and almost didn't pick it up when I bent down because the floor was SO disgustingly dirty. YIKES! When I returned to the Walgreens at 10:30, the thankfully didn't have a long wait, but nonchalantly told me they were out of my medication. They couldn't have called to tell me this?! I left in exasperation and went to Safeway. The pharmacist was kind, efficient, the place was clean, the wait was nothing, and they open at 9 am on Sundays. The pharmacy here is pretty annoying-- they transferred a prescription of mine to the wrong location refused to transfer it back or cancel it. It is still sitting at some Walgreen's 35 minutes away because I can't be bothered to drive out there. I could die! read more

I dropped off a prescription and came back three days later (originally told me come back the day after I dropped it off) and it wasn't ready. I waited in line for 35 minutes for them to tell me they should have ready the next day because their deliveries come everyday. So now I'm back three days after that (6 days after originally dropping it off) and I waited in line for 30 minutes. And guess what? They don't have it. I'm switching pharmacies. read more

I almost never go to Walgreens since you can find everything they sell for less elsewhere. This one, while still overpriced, was nicely organized and well-stocked. As somebody who works in the medical field, it is very disappointing to be placed on hold for a ridiculous amount of time and then receive poor customer service - whether you are a patient or provider calling for patients. I have to agree with the other reviews. 2.5 hours to fill a prescription dropped off when they open at 8 am....nice staff but entirely too long. Thought going inside might help vs drive-thru but there were 10 people in line at least...I would suggest another pharmacy if you need your prescription filled quickly. read more
