This Walgreens's lies about there pharmacy rx and when they can fill. They lied to me 3 x's about filling my rx and I'm done with them

This location literally makes me wait for a pick up order like 15 minutes every time I come. No one is ever available and I have to go to the checkout to ask for help and they send me back to the photo section until someone arrives 15 mins later. That's so unacceptable. Today I got helped by a gentlemen named Dylan, I requested a paper receipt and he annoyingly asked if I allowed printer receipts on my app and I said yes, however I'm letting you know before hand so you don't use the handheld device to pick up my order as I'm aware the receipt will not print. He responded so annoyingly that no one should be using the handheld device and everything should be done at the register. I told him I was letting him know beforehand so I wouldn't run into the issue of no receipt. I've been couponing at different Walgreens and EVERY location does use their handheld device to pick up orders. Please treat your customers with respect and stop providing false information. I always have issues with the staff at this location, it's not the first time I get treated so annoyingly. Magnolia location in Riverside is way more customer service focused. Don't bother with this location! read more

I called to call in a prescription for a patient last night. I was on hold for almost an hour. The automated service kept saying "there are more than 3 calls ahead of you." After several minutes, it said "there are 2 calls ahead of you." After several minutes again, "there is one call ahead of you." I was happy that I was getting close to getting someone to pick up my call but next thing I know, I got disconnected!!!! I was on the phone from 8:05 pm til 8:57 pm, only to be disconnected . While I was on hold, my patient's husband went there to pick up the Rx since he thought it would have been ready. He stood in a long line and was told that no one called in the prescription for his wife. He told the staff that my call is still probably on hold but staff said no one is on hold!!! So I called again earlier. I was on hold for 15 mins and 36 sec just to be disconnected again. I give up!!! read more

I don't even know where to start. I bought some items that said they were on sale, when I went to the cash register the cashier lady told they were not so I paid full price. I saw my items on line and were on sale like it said on the product display so I decided to return the items. when I went to the store I showed my receipt and the lady asked me for my driver license, phone number and signed the receipt. This is so ridiculous and a violation of privacy. when I asked her why do they require all of these, she was rude and said it is the store policy. The other day I call them to find out about my photos and they hanged up on me twice. They have a very poor customer service and I will never go there again. I don't know why they closed Rite Aid. The other reviews say it. This is without a doubt the single worst pharmacy I've ever had the torture of dealing with. A few facts about this establishment for anyone considering getting their medicine here: -Customer service treats you like a drug addict when you ask the most basic of questions, if you can even get a question in. Snide remarks about you and all. -Calling system will never answer you, keep you on hold for over 20 minutes, and then hang up. Go ahead, try it as many times as you like, you won't be talking to anyone unless you're physically present there. -ALWAYS out of stock on most essential medications -They keep YOUR MEDICATIONS behind their own self-imposed policy of when you can get it. Even if your insurance, doctor, doctor's office, hospital, nursing home, etc says anything about getting your prescription on a certain date, Walgreens WILL ONLY give it to you on their own terms. This in particular is unforgivable and no other reasonable pharmacy does this. I have had many unnecessary days of personal anguish thanks to not being able to get my medicine in a timely or DIRECTLY ORDERED manner from this pharmacy. -24 hours is sometimes a lie. My Doctor sent an important prescription to this pharmacy by accident (it's my former one) and was told on the phone by Walgreens staff that I can come at midnight to pick it up if I was in need of it ASAP. I come at midnight and low-and-behold they are apparently CLOSED UNTIL 8AM. So that's another whole night of suffering thanks to a lie from the front desk earlier in the day. There also goes the SOLE potential positive of this pharmacy straight into the garbage. For your own sanity, never EVER EVER come to this horrifically run establishment. There are plenty of well-reasoned independent pharmacies in town that FAR deserve your money over this cruel joke of a corporation. read more

I wish I could give this place NO STARS! I'm writing this while waiting for someone to answer the damn phone and I've been on hold for 25 min! I even called the main store's phone to have someone walk over to pharmacy and check what the hell is the hold up! And get this, I called earlier and they hung up on me after 25 mins on hold! The Most unorganized place to get Covid tested. We normally go to CVS for Covid test. With CVS - you pull up, your test kit is ready to go. My husband & I can get tested together in the same car. (Walgreen told us I would have to go back in the line to get my test kit) CVS technicians are polite & they get line moving efficiently. read more

I would give a 0 if I could. My dr wrote me a script for a cold sore and the pharmacist wouldn't fill it until speaking with the doctor. You have to take it within a window or it won't work. Pharmacy is chaotic and very unorganized. Most of the time you call, it rings and then someone picks up for a split second and presses the hold button right away. Either they know the trick to cheat the system (when it shows in call reports) or they are forced to pick after certain number of minutes. Whatever the case is, it's getting worse day by day. Today, I waited for over an hour when they played this game and gave up. There are tons of pharmacies out there so bye-bye from me. Is someone from the management is seeing this review and *cares* to fix it, the latest incident happened on 3/30/2021 at 11:15am. This pharmacy first off is very difficult to get ahold of. The phone lines are always busy and you are always put on hold immediately. Also they tend to be on "back order" of a lot of their medications for some reason. And you can't transfer some of them. It's just a pain! read more

I've been here for years and I end up always finding what I need with deals as well. It was a good thing I didn't find what I wanted at CVS Ontario where the traffic really makes it hard to get around. This Walgreens is much closer so I will continue to be a regular here thank you. Apparently their policy does not permit them even though there is no age requirement in California..Okay, that's fine but when I called and asked to speak with the manager to verify, hid exact words were "Ya, what's up?" we came here last week to pick up some meds and bought some stuff but there was a mid size "rat" at the counter/check out, we saw it and other customers saw it too and even the cashier even freakout and run. the rat also run through the counter where candies are / some flowers or plants are there, the rat was trying to hide. i hope they can check ths walgreens branch, i am sure there are more rats roaming around the store. read more

Worst Pharmacy Experience This review is of the Walgreens Pharmacy specifically. It does not apply to the rest of the store, which I think is fairly decent. Last night, having returned home around 9:30p, I wanted to see if some antibiotics were ready for pickup. Since I was tired and feverish from a bad cold, I asked my wife to dial the pharmacy to check on the medication before I drove over there. She called and we waited... and waited... and waited... Would you believe we were on the phone for 35 minutes?! This can feel like an eternity to a sick person or a parent desiring medication for his children. 35 minutes! But still, no one answered. We figured it would be faster just to drive there, since we live only 10 minutes away. So, while the call was still active, we went through the drive-thru. And there, we waited... and waited... and waited... Another 20 minutes in the drive-thru just waiting to be acknowledged. Now, here is the pitiful and sad thing: The phone system repeats a message similar to this: "Sorry, we're not able to take your call. Our agents are helping other callers." As the phone system repeated that over and over again, I watched the pharmacist and staff inside. NO ONE WAS ON THE PHONE. It is just a canned message that has no bearing on the truth, which is clearly that this staff has little to no interest in answering customers on the phone. It was surreal and sad to hear one thing from the phone system and see the complete opposite with my own eyes. This experience opened up my eyes to the reality that we cannot trust Walgreens with things as delicate as medications. My family plans to transition away from Walgreens as soon as possible. Oh, and of course, it turned out that the medicine was not ready. They could have saved us an hour of waiting and agony if someone just picked up the phone. read more

I used the app to order pictures, waited about a half an hour after my pictures were supposed to be done, however upon arrival they weren't ready. Amanda in the photo center very nicely explained their system froze on downloading the pictures, but one order should be ready in about ten minutes. So, I walked around and got a few extra things. I purchased the extra items then went to the photo center. Drew, the Shiftlead, was working in the photo center. I listened as Drew explained the same problem with their system as well as mentioned "I can't enter the coupon code," (just trying not to honor the lady's code)to a lady before me, so I handed her the 30% coupon I had. All of a sudden, he was able to type in the code. Furthermore, after inconveniencing his customers and being rude, Drew didn't even have the decency to respond after I finally(an hour late) received my pictures when I said "have a great night". I was willing to not only pay the extra for the cost of the pictures here at Walgreens rather than CVS, which is actually closer, give them a little extra job security in buying things I didn't need to wait, but I was not okay with the terrible customer service and blatant rudeness Drew had shown again to get the other order, so I cancelled and ordered at CVS. read more

Major staffing or efficiency problems continue. Two years ago, my review noted that you needed to come in after 9 or 10 p.m. to avoid a 30 minute (or longer wait. Things may have gotten worse, based upon an attempt to pickup up prescriptions from this location (100 W. Ontario) tonight. Tried at about 9:40 and there were four cars waiting. Came back at about 10 and their were five. The side of the building from the window back will only accommodate 5 cars, so one I would have either would either have to waited around the corner of the building or on the other side of the aisle, to allow traffic to move between Sprouts and Walgreens. The line moves really slowly. When you get to the window, the staff do some professional. Walgreens just seems really greedy to not add one more staff member. After about 10:30 the staffing drops down further. All of this is despite Blue Shield and other insurers now allowing you to pickup 90 days worth of meds at a time, so probably allot of people don't have to come in nearly as often. Have attempted to take up Walgreen's offer to consolidate my prescriptions, so I don't have to come in multiple times in a month. It never worked. read more

I have taken VHS tapes in at different times. I was told it would take 3 weeks to complete, then I would receive an email. I never got an email for either one. I went into the photo dept and waited for a long time to speak with someone. The person I finally spoke with was Jenna, the manager. She was able to locate the info on an envelope but no VHS/DVD. Of course, no one was available in the processing center. Jenna said she would call me when there was information. She called and left a message that she was still searching for information. Several days have gone by and I called again only to be told Jenna would be out for 2 days and no one but her had the info. DO not go to the Corona Walgreens for any reason, unless you want items lost or to wait forever. Both VHS tapes were the last of home movies. read more

Awful customer service. It's almost hilarious how angry the girl at the photo center was. The cashier who asked the photo center girl for help looked stressed and the girl gave him an attitude and threw an item down at the register for him to scan in front of another customer. Not to mention, she wasn't much help to my mom and I when we asked about the copies. I understand everyone has their bad days, but her attitude and demeanor was so horrible it made me ask myself "what's her issue" the cashier was great and friendly even when dealing with multiple customers at once with no help, I really appreciate that. read more

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT WALGREENS EASTVALE...... Blue Cross says we now contract with walgreens so off we go getting everything changed to walgreens from Costco. Mind you zero issues for the most part of 15 years+ using Costco pharmacy. So one of mine has to be on written script, I knew this so I go armed with a freshly written prescription from my Doc. First they say "not a problem, give us a couple days. So exactly 7 days later no call and no meds. So I just happened to be out so I go through the drive through just to see. So the first story was that my DR wrote the script wrong, Again for over 15 years at the competitor with no problems. So before someone says just go back to the other pharmacy.....Would have never changed but Blue Cross changed, not my choice. SO....... They ask that I please come back after they have a chance to talk with my Dr. So now we are almost two weeks out no meds. This is a med that if stopped you will end up in the ER no matter what, certainly deserves better care than they are offering...... BUT WAIT HERE IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD...... So then the dark haired female pharmacist comes to the window and starts in on me because of how its written, that they have to waist time making calls. Then they tell me that "we reached our store allotment of that medication so we can not fill it now or in the future and she walks away leaving all my other meds sitting there on the counter. Now let me explain the strong stuff and allotments. first there is no such thing. According to their corporate office there is no such thing as an allotment. They are able to bring in every amount they have written script to cover! That's straight from their Corporate headquarters in Ill. as was explained to me earlier this morning. So way to go Eastvale Walgreens, You don't care about the customers/patients, you could care less for the community, I bet there is an out of work pharmacist in Eastvale that could easily fill your position, though you've set the bar very low. Walgreens Eastvale Pharmacy Department is a joke. So either they don't like the community or perhaps they just don't like the aging and refuse us the care they are licensed to provide. I will continue making calls until I get to the area Director of Pharmacology, hopefully that person will re-staff our neighborhood store. Called to check on my prescription my doctor's office called in yesterday. Walgreens pharmacy transferred me to their pharmacist to verify my insurance coverage on the drug. The pharmacist told me that Walgreens doesn't have a contract with my insurance company. I then called my insurance company. They verified that they do have a contract with Walgreens. They put me on hold and called Walgreens. Walgreens put my insurance rep on hold and then hung up on her. Insurance rep put me on hold again and called Walgreens back again. Walgreens told my insurance rep that they never told me that they didn't have a contract with my insurance company. Then she said that my prescription request was being rejected by my insurance company. She then put us on hold to transfer us to their pharmacist again. We were hung up on again for the second time. So 45 minutes later I haven't got my prescription, I've been hung up on and called a liar by this Walgreens on Ontario Ave. This location has no customer service skills and considers this customer of NO VALUE. read more
