I don't know the whole intentional or not but I would assume that the system should automatically recognize that I paid in cash inside but for some reason when I got home I realized I was being charged the credit card price which is an additional 10 cents. I get a lot of discounts at Shell because I have the application but I included the screenshot to show that I was basically charged an extra 10 cents per gallon for absolutely no reason. Not sure who this could happen by accident when I paid in cash.

Obviously anyone with half a brain knows change will be given. As I was pumping the gas, the kid locks the door to go on break, locking me out from getting my $30 change. When I asked him his name he said "Don't worry about it". The last thing I need is to wait for my change only to have to deal with this kid's minimum wage attitude. I like how they have aisles filled with goodies. Such as imported chocolates from around the world and an aisle of Asian food and snacks. They even have a cooler freezer full of chocolate covered bananas. When I went to ask how much the price was the staff lady didn't even know. She kept guessing on the price. There's also now a fresh produce section so if you want something healthy you can get it here. Frozen slushies and fresh coffee here. They also have freshly made fudge but it didn't look as fresh and already packaged in plastic to go containers. They also have a bulk food section where you buy per container lot per pound. So if you get a container of gummy worms and you don't like it too bad. Otherwise store is large and clean and almost all prices are displayed.

It's convenient because it's on the way to the freeway but that's about all it is convenient for. Inside the staff isn't friendly or helpful most of the time. I can be standing their for a while in front of their faces waiting to pay, and they still keep having their side conversations with each other. I have yet to have a good experience at the AMPM. You will almost always encounter homeless people here approaching people for money or food. There is a McDonald's behind this gas station, so it gets pretty crazy here at times. You will also find a lot of large semi trucks here. The car wash at this location also sucks. It doesn't wash your car well and it definitely doesn't dry your car at all! The dryers need to be fixed on this thing. You can see what I mean in the photos.
