Strong mold smell upon entering the store. Towards the back left where the frozen section is, low and behold I spot black mold on the pipes near the ceiling. Huge safety hazard if you ask me. Also they only have 1 cashier running the register. I ran out of there fast; but I was met with yet another challenge because the parking lot is sketchy as hell too. First time shopping at this Smart & Final location. The workers on the floor stocking items or cleaning were very helpful & nice. But the girl at the register named Ruby wasn't. She had an arrogant attitude & was no help at all whatsoever. She needs to be trained in how to help the customers with their issues on the register when checking out or she should not work the register at all if she can't help the customers. read more

She was able to find the Avocados at the unbeatable price advertised in our Weekly Mail Booklet and I found the Blueberry Waffles I was craving for my next round of Bougie Breakfast Meals ;0) Yesenia rang us up and she was so lively, fun, and charming! We loved how responsibly focused Yesenia was in serving each Customer with friendly and courteous Enthusiasm. Yesenia reminded the Older Gentleman ahead of me not to forget his bag of fresh greens, and swiftly rang us up with equal Professionally sharp finesse! I would come here for groceries quite a bit, sadly, the economy and especially food has gone up so so much, Smart and Final is no exception, the food is what you would expect from a grocery store, this is a cross between, grocery and a wherehouse in bulk. 2 IN 1. One thing i noticed is that the frozen foods do not look like they been rotated at all. And there is always freezer burn on most of the freezers with the food in them. I do not know if they see this or just do not care. SMH.. The service has been good but lately has been so so. The ambiance is just there. The selection is good to. I feel sorry for the area it is located in, it is a run down area and mall. Overall, SMART N FINAL, Their SMART for the most part, in some areas, others not so much. And there is a lot of competition with 3 to 4 other major grocery stores around it. 1 to 10 I give it a 8 out of 10. That is my FINAL DECISION on SMART AND FINAL. There are a few things that just can't be passed by here. One is the pineapple sausage made by Evergood. Can't find it anywhere else. Yum, when it is in stock, you just gotta get some. It looks like a plumper version of a hot dog package and is pleasing to the taste buds, slightly sweet. It makes a really interesting spin on breakfast sausage. The other really nice surprise was the blackberry pie made by Claim Jumper. This is almost as good as my mom's, and she should be crowned the pie baking queen of So Cal. Really flaky crust, not so sweet, add a blob of really good vanilla ice cream and go into a coma. read more

i forget how cheap this place is - power bars 24 pk for $22, beer, wine treats, foods, etc... I can't believe i don't shop here more often, it seems i always find lots of things here for cheaper without a club card. Loved that we finally came back to this store after so long because they have a big variety of produce now and very good prices for stuff in bulk, Hate the Customer Service here! Each time me and my husband have gone there and we buy quite a few groceries the cashiers always give us a long face, no greeting and you can tell they are very unhappy with having to bag all of our groceries, and its always the younger female cashiers. We hadn't been there in a while because of this and we decided to go back over the weekend on Sunday and it was the same exact thing. We had quite a bit of groceries and when I handed our cashier our grocery bags she gave me the worst look and bagged our groceries with total attitude. I called later to complain to the assistant manager because I guess the store manager was unavailble but i don't think that really helped. We will definitely will Not shop here again! read more

I like the store. I mainly shop there because of the HUGE eggs! The store is clean and well organized. The produce section seems to always have some rotting items, which smells a little. The only real complaint I have is the cashier Chris. I went through her check stand and she mentioned to me and my son that we need to bag our own groceries because "she needs to hurry up and go pee". Then the next time we need to bag our own items because "she's in pain, she really needs to go take motrin, even though she's not supposed to". I've gone to her line 5 times now and each time she tells me that I need to bag my own groceries because something is wrong with her. She is not pleasant with the customers, she just talks with the other employees about how she's unhappy that she's going to have to go to lunch late now because someone did something. I don't even know all the things that she complains about, I just try to tune her out. It's very annoying. If she doesn't like her job, then find a new one. But if you like your job, then stop complaining about everything and asking the customer to bag their own groceries. It really makes the customer feel uncomfortable having to listen to you. As much as I like the convenience of this location, I won't be back. Next time I'll go up the road and try the Eastvale store. Hopefully they don't have their own version of "Chris" there. read more

Great location. They delivered 100 turkies to our business in Corona for a Canned Food Drive and Turkey Giveaway we had at our location for our employees. The delivery was on time and the price was fair. The Store Manager, Mohit, was really friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Excellent customer service. I've showed up at different times to see if maybe it was me that was there at the same time that the chicken is on high demand but idk I've tried at 1:00 , no chicken then I went at 3:00 and no chicken then the next week I went at 4:00 and guess what? I had purchased a $20 gallon of ice cream today the charge on my card was posted at 1:14 PM got the wrong ice cream went back in at 1:26 PM and went to the cashier I purchased the item from. She said yes let me check with the manager. She comes back and says that the manager said no and if I wanted I could go talk to her. So I went to talk to her she was completely rude and was just straight forward NO. I had told her I literally was here 10 minutes ago with the same cashier and she refused to give me my money back even tho I was going to purchase another brand. I loved shopping at this location until I had a bad experience with one of the supervisors on duty. I went to this Smart and Final one day to buy some pizza sauce and one of the cashiers called up the supervisor, Daisy to the front to help me. I explained to Daisy that I needed some pizza sauce in a small can and she told me that they were out of stock. She showed me the larger can which was way to big for the meal I was making for dinner. I asked Daisy if she could somehow accommodate me and she said "sorry, we don't do that here," with a nasty look on her face. At that point, I was beginning to get upset because of the way she responded. I decided to leave the store and call back later to complain, but the store manager was not there. In my opinion, Daisy should not be in a supervisory position. She lacks customer service skills. I will not be returning to this Smart and Final. read more

With my experience the customer service was good. My only disappointment was the lack of variety. I only bought a couple things and ended up going to Stater Bros. I usually shop at the Chino location and they have a nice variety of goods. :) read more
