+1 star automatically for being 24 hrs. You never know when you'll need something at 4am. I love this Walgreens. I'm a frequent visitor and it's great for pretty much anything you need. The store has gone through a few changes in the last couple years, and definitely for the better. This Walgreens biggest difference is the fresh food selection. They have your basic bread, milk, eggs....but also some fresh produce (everything from onions, potatoes, and peppers to strawberries) and ready to cook meals. They even have pretzel bread/hamburger buns. Yum :) They also have a small grocery section with ketchup, mustard, cereal, and stuff. I always forget that the other Walgreens are not like this one, which has an impressive little area for quick lunch foods (berries, deli sandwiches, even sushi---although I'm leery to buy sushi at a Walgreens). They layout of the store is well done and it's usually very easy to find what you are looking for...if it's in stock. One of negatives of this place is that they tend to be out of stock on some common things, like paper towels. It's probably because it's very high traffic, but still, they should prepare for that. It's always high traffic. There is a small parking lot, which is vital because street parking in that area is awful. They have a photo center, pharmacy, and red box like most Walgreens. They keep it very clean, which deserves props considering they are open 24/7 and usually very busy. The checkout is one line for how ever many cashiers are there. The store's pretty good about opening a new line when necessary, sometimes even calling people over to the photo center or cosmetics. The one line system works great. I prefer it to multiple lines because it's completely first come first serve instead of someone getting in a slow line and waiting while everyone else gets out.The cashiers have always been really friendly and most of them are quick. The biggest exception would be Maureen. A lot of people have already commented about her, and if you ever go when she's working, you'll know who she is right away. She's the slowest line, but very nice. She's helpful and good at pointing out recent expiration dates, checking eggs, and telling you if you missed a sale. She's HORRIBLE if you are buying anything private at all. She does loudly narrate every single thing you buy. So, not the greatest when buying anything that might cause you to blush (and come on, there are a lot of potentially embarrassing purchases at Walgreens). But, it's obvious she's not doing it to embarrass you. It can easily get annoying when you are not in the mood to talk or in a rush too, but sometimes she also makes you smile with her cheerful self. read more

Not a whole lot to say, everyone has been to a Walgreens. Typically the service is pretty good. Other than that, there isn't anything too special. One thing I can say, though, is that they have long hours, decent pricing, and are conveniently located EVERYWHERE. read more

Once every few weeks, when I find myself out of batteries or cat food at 1:00 a.m., I wander into this Walgreens to get the few items on my list. I often find that the really basic items that I make a special trip for are always out of stock, yet there is a whole aisle of holiday kitsch sitting there collecting dust. I used to tell myself that it must be hard to stock ALL of the items, ALL of the time. But the CVS down the street doesn't suffer from this issue; in fact, they always seems to be really well stocked with product. The wait at the tills can be really long so I try to do my shopping in the late evening, but a few times that I have gone to check out, the cash register was unmanned. Those are small complaints in comparison to the disaster zone that is their pharmacy. They are always running out of prescriptions; I have came in for a pickup only to find that there isn't anything for me to pick up! No phone call informing me of this or asking if I would like to transfer my script to another pharmacy? I stopped patronizing this Walgreens after witnessing an elderly man getting a heavy dose of attitude from the pharmacist. When he started asking a question to the pharmacist, she rolled her eyes like a 12 year old girl being asked to spit out her gum in class. He asked her 3 questions, and her only response to them was that he should "read the sheet attached." He started to get a little flustered, and walked away; he obviously wasn't terribly bothered by her attitude but I was. But what really took the cake she walked over the the pharmacy tech and threw her arms in the air saying how people are just so stupid and if they could only read. He looked like such a sweet old man, and I hate to see people being walked over when it is so easy to be kind. read more

I remember when this location was a grocery store, and I rarely went to this one (it wasn't my favorite), but when I needed something and it was convenient (on the way to work, for example), I'd stop in and pick it up really quickly. I remember going there to get a prescription filled once and running into some close friends of my mom's. That was somewhat embarassing, because of the type of prescription it was. I'll leave that up to you to figure out. Also, the woman who works at the front counter, Maureen, is a sweetheart. She's not the best cashier to get when you're in a rush, though! read more

Convenient location but they always seem to be stocking the shelves in their extremely narrow aisles during peak hours. Very annoying.

I love my Walgreen's! Yes, there are some characters, yes the lines are long, yes sometimes they're out of water on a hot summer day, BUT it's fabulous people watching. The staff is always friendly, I should know them by name at this point. I am a frequent...no avid Walgreen's go-er, seriously at least 3-4 times a week. This location is in my neighborhood and they stock the basics. It's usually pretty busy, especially after 5. I went in on a Wednesday morning and it looked like they were restocking the whole store, just an FYI. The employees I have asked for help were just that, helpful and friendly. There was only one time where they were out of stock of what I needed, but their staff recommended the CVS just two blocks down Broadway. Overall, an ok Walgreen's. read more

Until about 3 months ago I would have rated this store with four or five stars. I would still rate the store portion of the Walgreens very highly. However, the pharmacy has really gone down hill recently. Once again I had to wait 15 minutes to pick up my pre-ordered drugs and experience unpleasant employees. I was told it was because they took away the third register in the pharmacy, but they rarely have even two registers active. I have never seen three in service. The long waits and bad service in the pharmacy is happening often enough that it is more the rule than exception. I would rather they fix their problems in the pharmacy than my having to move my prescriptions to someone else. However, if it keeps up I will have no choice. read more

Typical overpriced Walgreens. Often there is a long line at checkout. But the staff (save 1 person) is always friendly.

Neat and clean store. This is where my family gets our prescription filled. Has never been a problem - however they had been consyantly out of some prenatal vitamins that I had needed at some point. Photo printing is not that great - part of the issue is their software but then that's not a store specific concern. Emoyees are always nice and helpful. Once when my prescription bill came through quite high because of the kind of this insurance I had, they were nice enough to call me and confirm if that was the only have insurance I had and if I still wanted it filled. Returns have been a snap and the manager and all employees are very knowledgeable. read more

As a Decades long regular Customer of this store I have given up. Severely understaffed. Except for sale items, extremely expensive. And the hassle of having to dig in your wallet for a store card to buy an 80 Cent Cadbury Easter Egg that a few short years ago was only 50 Cents, just isn't worth the trouble. Can I write a split review? The pharmacy is fantastic. It's open 24 hours, which is great for someone who keeps crazy hours, is a little disorganized, and is in a rush to pick up necessities. However, my experience last night with the manager at this store just rubbed me the wrong way. On my way out from picking up a prescription, I noticed that they finally had a mascara I wanted in stock -- AND a discount (buy one get one 50% off). So I picked up another product to try out and went to check out. They rang up full price so I told the cashier that it was buy one get one 50% off according to the little sign over the prices on the display. He called the manager over and the manager went to the display. I should have gone with her, because when she didn't come back, I went over and a DIFFERENT employee told me there was no sign. I looked, indeed the manager had taken the sign down. Now, if that was a mistake and left over from last week or something, I can understand and deal, but saying, "There's no sign, I don't know what you're talking about" is lying and shady and ridiculous. I hope someone gives that night manager a clue about customer service. Or morals. read more

The pharmacist here is possibly the rudest person I've ever met. I highly recommend having your prescriptions called in somewhere else.

The pharmacy is either very unorganized or extremely busy. I went to pick up my prescription hours after it had been called in and I was told it'd be ready in about 20 minutes. I decided to run some errands and come back for it and when I returned an hour or two later I was told again it would be ready in 20 minutes. Just seemed like a ton of confusion going on to pick up one single prescription, and no one was very friendly about it either. read more

This Walgreens is by far the worst one I've ever been to. The manager named Carol is the worst manager and her attitude stinks along with the black ball over weight guy in the pharmacy. I don't typically buy anything out of there because their lines are always to long because the cashiers are to busy talking to each other or to themselves out loud. #weird! I only get my prescriptions filled there. I always use my work medical flex card, however only one card got issued. I gave the card to my daughter who's in college and I have a pic of the card on my phone front and back along with a hard copy of my I. D. Every manager other than Carol allow me to use it they just punch in the numbers etc and verify who I am. Now I can except that she may not have been comfortable allowing me to use it but her attitude about it was the worst. After I paid for the prescription with my bank card I saw her in the aisle and I attempted to speak with her and she deliberately ignored me and when I said excuse me Carol, she snapped at me and walked away. No matter the time of day this place always has a line of at least 5-8 people. You would think that if they see it's a popular location they would hire more people. Seriously, it doesn't matter if it's 6:00 after work or 3AM, there's always a huge line. I have lived in many different cities and been to many different walgreens and I have never encountered this phenomenon. read more

DON'T PARK HERE! I literally parked here for 3 minutes to run across to Chipotle and got my truck towed. Take a look around the back corner of the Walgreens building and you will see a guy peeking around looking for his next victim to tow. He must have a contract with Walgreens to be there. It's a nice Walgreens compared to the other 15 within a 2 mile radius. The latest improvements are nice and considering it is a 24 hour location makes it very nice. The parking is a little sparse at times but the staff if friendly. It has a clean bathroom that is open to the public which is nice when shopping locally in the neighborhood. read more

Well, my review isn't so much about Walgreen's as it is about their photo department and more specifically their service of transferring Super 8 films to digital DVD. Like a lot of people, I have old Super 8 films that hold a lot of precious memories that I wanted to have mastered in digital since I don't have a film projector and stores don't sell them anymore. Now, ten years ago I had a transfer done of my Super 8 films onto VHS that cost me about $40.00, but I figured with today's technology an upgrade of my Super 8 films would probably give them a more crisp and clear image since they were supposed to be mastered in digital. Now, I take very good care of my Super 8 films, making sure they're stored correctly to limit any loss of quality that time can inflict on Super 8 film, and if there was any loss of quality it would be minimal. Well, today I received my DVD that my Super 8 films were transferred to and I'm absolutely disgusted with the results! If my films were mastered in digital as Walgreen's said they would be, then they're not using current technology. All my Super 8 films had been placed on one single spool and they were all shot around the same time in the early 1980's, but on this "digitally mastered" DVD different segments of these films varied wildly from over saturated colors that were posterized to other segments that while not saturated were slightly pixilated. And this transfer cost me $100.00! My Super 8 film transfer to VHS from ten years ago is far superior to this current supposed digitally mastered transfer. Beware of this Walgreen's photo service - you'll be wasting your money! read more
