Everything looked so nice and spacious... this location has been the target of the train riffraff shoplifting all the time. It looks like nice now

NEW DESIGN SUCKS Look, I get it. I'm sure there's theft and the new design (kiosks only) helps prevent that.. but you have to actually create decent sized kiosks (not these stupid 10" tablets) and make sure the software if perfect before you release it. The search feature on these tablets is terrible, doesn't do keyword lookups and just isn't intuitive! I bought 2 things and it took me 5 minutes to find them on the tablet. Also, the rep didn't know what I bought because apparently there wasn't a product image on her side. 3/10 . Just wow

The "shopping experience" they're branding. It's sad, it's pretty racist, and it's not a Walgreens
    Andy M.

When Walgreens decides to spend their money on a new design that curbs theft and is uninviting to a common shopper looking to browse for a snack or necessities, it's clearly JUST a pharmacy. A thirsty pharmacy. Just call it "we're only here for the folks with insurance to get their money". More so, it's a beacon of a sign to move out of the South Loop. And to never shop here again.

Name of the pharmacist and store manager that performed negligence.

Do not go to this pharmacy. They will you the wrong amount and the wrong medication. About 3-4 weeks ago, my son tested positive for Strep. Our doctor prescribed him 7.5 mL of amoxicillin for 10 days. I was very precise everyday using a syringe to give him 7.5 mL of amoxicillin. By the time with was the 9th day, there was only 1 mL of amoxicillin left. Not enough for a full dose. They only dispensed 8 days worth of amoxicillin instead of 10. My son was feeling better for the first week but then once again tested positive for Strep the following week. This was likely due to the fact that there was still remaining bacteria in my son's system that wasn't fully eradicated because he didn't get his full dosage. I then go back to the doctor and they prescribe him again amoxicillin for 10 days and upped the dosage to 8mL. I go back to this pharmacy to receive the medication. It was in a different bottle than they gave me last time but I assumed it was because it was a bigger bottle for his higher dosage. I go home and give my son the medicine, and he spits all of it out. He tolerated the medicine well the first round 2 weeks ago and I remember it smelling like bubblegum. But for the second round, he could not tolerate it at all and it didn't smell like bubble gum. I assumed it was because they didn't add any flavoring to this second round of amoxicillin. I go back to the phamarcy since I explained what happened over the phone. I really was concerned that he wasn't going to get enough of his medicine again since he spit a lot of it out. The pharmacy said they couldn't give me anymore amoxicillin but they could add flavoring. I go back to the pharmacy and the pharmacist says this is a different medication than the one I got last time. The medicine they gave me was Amox Clav and it has a fruity flavor, which is why my son did not like it. She seemed to think my doctor prescribed me a different medication. However, I pointed out to her on MYchart that my son was indeed prescribed amoxicillin. She then had to look up in the computer and realized that they gave me the WRONG medication. It was suppose to be amoxicillin and they gave me Amox CLAV. This was for my 3 year old son. He could have easily been allergic to this medicine or they could have given me a medicine that was inappropriate of a 3 year old boy . Fortunately, that did not happen but it was pure negligence on their part. I appreciated that the pharmacist was very apologetic, but it does not excuse the negligence for not checking on your computer the correct medication when it gets sent from the doctor, the label when you dispense the medicine in a bottle and for the pharmacy tech to check again the medication during the check out process. There were 3 failed attempts to check that the medication was correct. I then requested to speak to a manager. She seemed very apathetic during my explaination and simply said "I can see that could be upsetting for this misunderstanding. I will make sure we create an event that will notify the higher ups". She did not apologize for her store or her pharmacy and did not seem to demonstrate concern or remorse. I then asked "Can I make a formal complaint? Like on paper? I would like to see some follow through that this will not happen again. Since this was very negligent and my son could have easily gotten ill or worse. And this was the second mistake I dealt with already". She said there was no formal complaint I could make but I can call back the store and speak to her to see what happened after I spoke to the higher ups. I first of all do not believe there was no official process for me to make a formal complaint on paper for such a big retail store/pharmacy. I do not think my complaint was taken seriously. If Walgreens would like to contact me to further rectify this, I would be happy to receive it. I am going to look for other means to file a complaint so someone else will not be given the wrong medication and become seriously ill or die.

Had the BEST experience at the Chicago Dental Studio in West Loop!!! Like many, I dread visiting…read morethe dentist for routine cleanings, but my experience here was stellar (and now, my teeth are too!). From start to finish, I felt taken care of by the entire team and was highly impressed by their warmth, transparency (re: insurance pricing), and keen insights on my dental health. Thank you to the wonderful Mel, Jacinta, and Dr. Bosworth for all your hard work and professionalism - I look forward to coming back!

It has taken me quite some time to reflect upon this before writing a review. The Chicago Dental…read moreStudio is a decent facility overall, but I could never in good conscience recommend seeking dental care here due to Dr. Bosworth. The first issue that occurred is when I had a dental procedure performed. After injecting lidocaine, it took some time for Dr. Bosworth to come back and check on me. During the beginning of the procedure, he left the room to see other patients and didn't return for almost an hour. At that point, the local anesthesia had worn off and I had to undergo another unnecessary painful injection. It is quite obvious that Dr. Bosworth was juggling multiple patients at one time. This seems to be to maximize profit rather than actually focusing on providing quality care to each individual at a time. This was a scheduled appointment and it is never acceptable for a patient to have a needle stuck in their mouth, and then be essentially ignored for an hour, and then have to be stuck again just due to the wait. The second and much more concerning issue was regarding a crown that was placed. I had a root canal performed years before. Dr. Bosworth placed a crown over this area. Several month's later, I started having pain. When I saw Dr. Bosworth, he assured me that could not be the case since I should have no sensation in the area with the nerve already removed. I mentioned this several additional times and each time Dr. Bosworth wrote me off and ignored my concerns. I came to find out that there may sometimes be accessory nerves that may remain after a root canal and could absolutely continue to cause pain. I mentioned this to Dr. Bosworth yet again and he essentially told me that this was not the case and that my pain was from something else. Fast forward to a year later and I saw a different dentist as the pain was getting worse. They performed imaging and confirmed I had an accessory nerve in place that was indeed infected. The infection was too significant and had been occurring for so long that they would not be able to drill through the crown and tooth to treat the infection. I ended up having to spend thousands of dollars and go through several painful procedures to have the tooth extracted, then months later have a post placed, and then ultimately have another crown placed. I was informed by my new care team that this all could have been avoided if the accessory nerve infection was treated initially. This is despite me laying out the exact diagnosis for Dr. Bosworth. It is concerning that he lacks this medical knowledge despite his training, and even more concerning that this is the case after his patient had handed him the exact diagnosis. The pain and cost that I sustained due to Dr. Bosoworth's negligence is something I will always regret. I should have never gone to this dentist. I can't change what happened, but I would like to warn anyone thinking of seeking dental care here.

My review is actually for Dr. Cobbins at this same practice…read more Almost 1 year after my original BA I am still so thrilled I went with Dr. Cobbins. She was very realistic but also open with me and what I wanted. I always felt taken care of and like I could ask questions. She did a wonderful job addressing my partner's questions too since he would be helping with my aftercare. There was a minor complication that developed preventing my right side from dropping as it should, and Dr. Cobbins was very supportive and proactive about doing a crease revision and I was only charged a partial fee for the anesthesiologist, for the procedure 3 months after my original BA. Dr. Cobbins is approachable, realistic and caring. I had another consultation (NSPS) before deciding on Aesthetic Institue of Chicago and they wanted to charge me more, didn't really listen to me and talked down to me, trying to push me towards an incision style I did not want. I was able to tell Dr. Cobbins what I wanted, she told me what she thought would fit best and I ended up going one size below my maximum. My results are very natural looking but help me finally fill out clothing the way I wanted to. Getting this surgery and having such a supportive surgical team and doctor helped me finally have the confidence I had been searching for over many years. I went wedding dress shopping about three months ago and were it not for my surgery, I don't think I would have enjoyed the experience as much as I did nor felt as good in my dress.

She's the only practitioner I trust with my skin, and this visit was extra special because I had my first more advanced treatment: an Erbium Peel laser. Afterward, my skin looked like I had a mild sunburn and felt warm, but I was still comfortable enough to meet family for dinner. Jennifer explained exactly what to expect and how to care for my skin, and she was spot-on (as always). By the next morning, the redness was gone, and my skin felt tighter, smoother, and glowing. For someone like me with super sensitive skin, Jennifer always finds the perfect balance--pushing just enough for great results without overdoing it. This treatment was the ideal first step into something a little more intensive without jumping into Botox or injectables. If you haven't visited Lustre or booked a treatment with Jennifer yet, this is your sign. I had been to several consultations before I met with her, but I knew she was the one within 30 seconds of meeting. She was very clear and reasonable about my anticipated results. She listened to what I wanted and clarified what was realistic. I appreciated her honesty and it gave me a better understanding of what to expect. I scheduled the surgery with her nurse, Katie, (who is also phenomenal) and saw Dr. Cobbins a few weeks later for my preoperative appointment. I genuinely felt she was as excited as I was. She was very clear about what to expect the day before surgery, day after surgery, and follow-up instructions. She answered every single question and was available by phone, if I had any additional questions after I left. The day of surgery, I felt incredibly supported by Dr. Cobbins and Katie who have excellent bedside manner. I remember waking up after surgery with Katie sitting by me and I felt so relieved. The receptionists even entertained my mom while she was waiting for me to be discharged and I appreciate the kindness. I saw both of them again a few days later and Dr. Cobbins even met me on the weekend (when their office is technically closed) to remove the drain. The results were nothing less than perfect. I was so pleased with their size and shape, plus the scarring seems really minimal. Dr. Cobbins has also continued to follow-up consistently and has been available for additional questions/concerns. I was naive at the time but I really wanted a little bit added to my bottom so I went in for a consult. I was also really skinny (like model skinny) so even then she told me oh yeah I've had patients your size or smaller do procedures by me, I wish she rejected me or at least did a less risky procedure since her skills didn't match the words I heard. My body was so perfect in every way before this procedure (just wanted a little boost on my bottom). I remember I said "I heard some peoples shoulders get bigger she was like "Oh no that's not true at all." She did Lipo to my stomach which barely had much fat, inner thighs, and back. Anyways 6 yrs later and I'm struggling with my body image. I've lost my confidence, my skinny bbl doesn't look great, can't find a solution because I have skin laxity on my back and stomach, scarring/tethering (again this is from the aggressive lipo she did and how she used the surgical tools), Lipo fibrosis on stomach and back and yes the upper back looks bigger. I followed all the instructions of wearing the compression garment and everything. The problem wasn't the aftercare instructions I perfectly followed, the problem was the poor surgical technique. She did aggressive lipo on me, took out too much fat because I was thin and ruined the look of my skin. I now have 2 rolls on my back that I never had before my procedure and I feel always bloated for some odd reason no matter what I eat healthy or not even though my diet didn't change. I only gained about 10 pounds (still at a weight women would love) but even with that if the surgical skills were good the body would grow out nice and even, it wouldn't look botched. I wish she rejected me and told me to come back in a year or 2 if I want something permanent after I try something temporary. I wish she told me thoroughly and openly what kind of problems can come up (this was only briefly discussed and none of the problems I have now were discussed as potential issues after surgery). I wish she gave me a temporary option or smaller procedure not as damaging as a first solution to see what it would look like. I didn't receive any other options. I think plastic surgeons (especially ones who've had botched outcomes from their work) need to give a couple options and really think about if the contouring will look nice with each option so the patient can have a good long term outcome and more people will trust them for procedures. Dr. Cobbins took away the most thing that made me confident back then and damaged my body. I am struggling in every way imaginable because of this procedure done by Dr. Lorri Cobbins. The most perfect parts of my body were ruined because of horrible surgical technique and now I am left grieving it. I struggle every day to look for a way to fix it and I'm too afraid to go to someone else that may further damage me. I don't take photos anymore like I used to, I don't try on clothes when I shop like I want to. I can't look at myself in the mirror the same way. Please if you want a better/different look try temporary cosmetic things first so they go away if you don't like them and you don't have to live with the permanent result of a botched procedure.
