Consistently rude arrogant attitude by several customer staff members, not the pharmacist or Arianna. How about no name tags? i was rudely told i couldn't purchase the additional support items like tylenol for a foot injury. but had to go to the front cashiers a far distance away...that's fine, i get it's separate business, but then i was told they didn't know where the wheelchairs or electronic rides were, and basically i'm had no way to contact the store to request one at the pharmacy!!! No compassion and arrogant. you would think i was asking for something unbelievable.,,you are a pharmacy, i chose you as an convention host not from this downtown area. I would recommend going to a smaller, or stand-alone CVS for a vaccination rather than the Target CVS South Loop. I made an appointment online, checked in 15 minutes before my appointment via text and the CVS online app. I patiently waited 20 minutes in the "vaccinations only" chair and was never called nor acknowledged. I told two different pharmacy techs that I was there for a vaccine and was told "you'll be called." After 45 minutes I waved the pharmacist over and told him I was waiting for a vaccine. He told me I needed to go to the Minute Clinic, which I did, despite my confirmation text saying to go to the pharmacy counter. I was sent back to the pharmacy and the pharmacist said he'd "found my appointment." So what was supposed to be a seamless in-and-out experience took almost an hour. I have used this location since moving to the South Loop in 2008. On the occasion that my insurance has forced me to use the "other guys", I have still tried to come back to this location since before they became CVS. The team here has ALWAYS been kind and helpful. I am greeted with a smile, people ask me about how things have been going- they remember that I am a traveling salesperson and I have tried to reciprocate my gratefulness at such support. I take a number of medications, and now that my insurance forces me to use a mail order for 90 day supplies of my maintenance medications- I still tried to go here whenever I could. I recently moved away last week to GA, and I have still called the team here to confirm when I can get my next refill and if they can coordinate my information with the new pharmacy here when I need to get refills. It sounds super corny, but I wish I could still use this location even though I'm 800 miles away. It's convenient to use this location- because you can walk around and shop while they take care of your needs. I highly suggest working with Claudette, Tes, both pharmacists (I am so sorry I can't list everyone's names here) but they ALWAYS took care of me to the best of their ability. When I think about the risk people take filling prescriptions at this pharmacy, the only thing that comes to mind is how much you are willing to risk for convenience? They filled numerous prescriptions incorrectly which lead to the painful and disgusting death of my beloved 14-year-old cat. They followed up with me, and promised they would resolve the issue by connecting me with Charlie who is their "fixer" well he promised he would reach out to me via email within a week to resolve the matter and never did. When I attempted to call him back I did not receive a call. To his defense how can you resolve this issue? He offered money without offering an amount, I'm not struggling for cash but I could've donated it to charity which would have been nice but he dropped off the face of the Earth. For me it's not so much that they filled the wrong prescription it's the fact they did it so many times. How can you be this careless and offer a simple apology like it's an accident? It is not an accident, what it is should be filed under carelessness. What happens when they have a patient who is receiving blood pressure medicine accidentally gets cancer meds? They make accidents, so select another pharmacy because this place is not somewhere you want to trust with your health. read more

Terrible service at this location. Been a customer here for years and never had a problem until now. Long wait times on the phone. Pharmacists will purposely drop the call after waiting to speak with someone for 15-30 minutes not to mention the most annoying chat bot and waiting music Ive ever heard. Probably wasted close to 3 hours of my life this week trying to get a prescription refill fulfilled. If you are a cancer patient and need your medication that you take monthly, stay away from this CVS. I recently transferred my medication to this CVS because it is closer to my new address and thought they were better than Walgreens, oh was I wrong. I when to fill my prescription today and was told that they would not have the medication until Nov 21st. What kind of pharmacy is this? I thought the long lines at Walgreens was the pits but they always had the medication. I am 68 years old and can only get my medication every 30 days, so when I fill the prescription I am almost out. The girls behind the counter gave outstanding service. They suggested a possible option to obtain a coupon to help cover the high expense of a non generic drug. Katy (the actual pharmacist) went above and beyond when she asked me if I was having trouble finding the website. I was struggling with my near dead phone along with not having my reading glasses. She not only looked for the coupon on her personal phone, she charged my phone while I was waiting. The unexpected coupon gave me $75 off of the regular price that I've paid in the past. Yeah, a lot of us miss the "Target Pharmacy" from years ago. Sure do miss the easier-to-open and easier-to-use pill bottles from Target's old pharmacy before CVS took over. But anyway, I've always had good experiences filling my 'scripts at this CVS inside of the south-loop Target. The employees there are always friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to contact insurance companies and/or doctors in order to get the prescription right. In my case, my insurance company over-complicates things by requiring a 90-day fill for a particular prescription. Somehow the "cycle" got off-track, and there were only two-30-day refills remaining on my prescription. The friendly employees at CVS worked with the insurance and the doctor's office to get it straightened out for me -- all the while I was just doing my normal shopping at Target. Filling my 'scripts at this location is always fast and easy. They also have good hours -- they're open late most days. Also convenient having the CVS Minute Clinic there too for minor health issues.
