The trashiest Walgreens in Burbank - There is constantly trash all over the premises and they are not maintaining their landscaping - there are dead plants or just dirt with trash mixed in all over. They also allow panhandlers outside every day. Let's be honest, not very welcoming and I would rather go somewhere else. read more

I like the store for its products but only 2 stars because the pharmacy wait is horrible. The staff is nice but uncaring. Can't say I blame them since it seems to be a short staffing problem which is due to the company itself and the hours they project for the store. I prefer Walgreens over CVS, as I think they're pricing is more reasonable. I recently joined their rewards program but it seems a little buggy in remembering my phone number. Every once in a while they have crazy deals where you can get $1 reward for spending a dollar and no limit on the # of times you can do it! read more

This is specifically for the Pharmacy. This location has never been great but lately has really gone downhill. The customer service is horrendous. They always take forever, there are never enough people working. They've stopped contacting me to let me know when prescriptions are ready, so I have to check every time. There is never any parking. They have a drive through but don't even acknowledge when there is someone waiting. I'm done with place. Taking my business elsewhere. read more

They have everything you'd expect a Walgreens to carry. I tore my ACL playing basketball and I hopped over here looking for a do it yourself ACL surgery kit. And to my amazement they actually didn't have it. But they did have an ice pack and crutches which helped me a lot. WORST photo department I've ever been to. I had to go to this location quite a ways from my house because our Walgreen's apparently stopped doing online picture orders. I got there to pick up my XMAS cards all excited, and the machine was broken, they were working on it. Too far to drive home and back, I went and had lunch, came back, they were still working on it, and would call me when my order was ready. 4 1/2 hours later, now well after 5 o'clock's mail call...my order was ready. Wasted and ruined my entire day. So pissed off! read more

I'm being very generous by giving them one star.. My daughter, 19 years old, is constantly given crap service here. She started a new regimen of acne medication and when she first went to fill the prescription she was told the price would be $300 total. After almost an hour of arguing and back and forth phone calls with her doctors office the pharmacist finally realized she was filing for the wrong medication. Another 20 or so minutes went by before the same pharmacist told my daughter they wouldn't be able to fill her prescription until tomorrow, but she would receive a text when it was ready. Two days went by before she got the text notifying us her prescription was ready. When she picked it up.. Guess what.. Still not ready! I couldn't believe it. Finally we received her medicine a few days later. Oh but that's not all. She began using the gels for her face in the morning just as the pharmacist told her; At her monthly check up her demonologist was very disappointed to tell her she has been using the gels incorrectly. My daughter's supposed "morning gel" was actually a night gel. Thank goodness it wasn't a life threatening situation. If it were my husbands heart medication they messed up on, he could have died. Needless to say the pharmacist here are careless. read more

I had a store credit that tried to buy milk with it ,cashier tells me I couldn't buy diary items,so I go get wet napkins ,,she scan and scan and make me swipe my store credit ,,then tells me I couldn't buy those either. So manager comes and tells me I have 38 cents in my card. Do you think I would keep 38 cent card in my wallet and come to Walgreens ,,so I tried explaining what the cashier did. Kept on scanning and refusing. Used up my balance. And he wouldn't even listen. Store credit means MONEY. In the form of plastic. You should know that I can get anything with store credit. Dummies. Used up my card and not refunded me ,,so I swear I'll never go to Walgreens anymore. Go to target or cvs. They are respectful. This location needs to do something about their cashiers. I was tired, run down from flu, annoyed looking for parking. I did not need to have my ear drums pierced by the screeching antics of the cashier in the opposite corner of the store. Seriously -- I was way in the back when the cackling started about her grandma's TV. When I finally got to the front ready to check out, as luck of the draw would have it, the banshee is the person I get to ring me up. She needs to turn down her voice AND her need for attention. Thank goodness for Walgreens being everywhere, since I had forgotten to pack my emergency inhaler and was on the verge of a bag coughing spell, I was able to call into this location and have my prescription transfered and ready within an hour for pick up! I know the traffic is still bad and service isn't always the best but sometimes, Walgreens can be a LIFE safer! read more

I'm an avid couponer and normally shop at CVS, but today was my first time shopping at Walgreens in years. I would never normally find good enough discounts, but this week's discounts suited what I was looking for, so I decided on giving it a try. I went in and picked all the items I wanted and strolled over to the cashier, Tammy, where she was available to help out. She was very sweet and engaged in small talk, making the customer experience worthwhile! Unfortunately, while ringing up the items and coupons, one of the coupons wasn't going through and no matter what method was attempted, it wouldn't go through. Normally, a cashier would blatantly tell me it won't go through and pass on the attempt to fix it, but Tammy and two other employees got involved to fix it. After minutes of experimenting and kind small talk, the problem was fixed by overriding it in the system. For a staff to take that much time out of their way to get a coupon through for an everyday shopper, it says and means a lot. Tammy, Dee and Ashley, thank you for an exceptional experience! Walgreens should be proud of having you three! I will be shopping there again :) read more

My review pertains to the pharmacy. My dog has seizures and takes phenobarbital to control them. His vet suggested taking the prescription to a pharmacy so save some money, as 90 pills a month could get pricey at their office. I selected this Walgreens since it was close to my house. The prescription was filled in October for about $26 and I was thrilled. However, when I refilled the prescription a few days ago, it was $46. I asked the pharmacy clerk why the price had almost doubled and she looked it up, then said "well, it just went up". Since I was almost out of meds for the pup, I felt I had no choice and paid for it, took it home and found that bit wasn't a vial of pills but the same amount of pills sealed in individual blister packs. Essentially I paid $20 more because of the packaging. I took them back and asked why I was given different packaging and was told they were out of the loose pills and would have had to order them. I felt like I should have advised of this prior to purchase because of the extra cost. They could not take them back because I had left the store with the prescription. The pharmacist kept asking "Were you not satisfied with the price when you paid for them?" which isn't really the point, and no, I wasn't, but didn't feel I had a choice, and had been told that the price had simply increased. I was told I could come back the next day to speak to the pharmacy manager about the issue but simply did not have the time to return with no guarantee of a resolution. I am not happy having paid an extra $20 for convenient packaging which isn't actually convenient (they are very difficult to get out of the packaging and I've already stabbed myself with a knife twice trying to get 3 pills per day out of there) and will fill the prescription elsewhere after this. read more

My mother has a serious vascular disease, this Walgreen's is the worst pharmacy. I went to pick up my mothers medication. A 3 month supply . When I looked in the bag, it had only 1 month supply of plaxix and two other medications that were not even my mothers. If I had never checked the bag my mother would have had a serious problem taken other medications that are not prescribed to her. I spoke to the so called Manager and he was, lets just say, he should go back to school. He really had no explanation as to what happened. read more

When I came here with my husband to buy some friends some Gatorade and ice tea, at walking in the lady at the counter greeted us in asking how we are and welcome :) customer service like that is great should be used everywhere! We got our things and an extra item and lady at counter once again made me smile when she complimented my hair :) I do have long hair and she loved it. Then the other lady helped us checkout quicker at another section near makeup aisle. He even gave us a Walgreens # to enter for our discount :) will definitely go here again! read more

I love this Walgreens! I appreciate the professionalism of the pharmacy. My little girl needed medication before it was time for her refill. She had spilled a weeks' worth! I called the Pharmacy with great concern and they were so helpful. They explained that with spillage it usually comes from the customer's pocket, but they offered to fill me for just the week that was missing. It was inexpensive and a great relief! We made it through and our whole family was thankful, especially my little girl who needs her meds! Thank you Walgreens!!! read more

This review is specifically for the pharmacy. They are the WORST!! I'm currently on hold trying to get through to a human there as we speak. I was on hold for 15min before it hung up on me and I had to start over. I'm 10 min into this current call with no signs of life, and this definitely isn't the first time this has happened. When you physically go to the pharmacy there is Always a line, and even if you're the first in it you're still stuck waiting. Same with the drive through which is even worse. They're slow and majorly understaffed and have been for Years. It's also a huge bummer that they're not a 24hr pharmacy. The reason they get 2 stars and not 1 is because for the most part, the staff are friendly and usually apologetic. I think I'm at the point where it's time to go somewhere else though. read more

I haven't had a bad experience with this Walgreens yet. There are plenty of parking spaces, even when they share a lot with the Trader Joe's next door. I've never had a problem finding anything, and it's generally a quick-get in-pay-get out situation. Wow! I was really impressed with the customer service that I encountered at this Walgreens in Burbank. This was my first visit to this Walgreens. I had received a Walgreens gift card and decided to go spend it. I came to this Walgreens since it's the nearest one to my home. I was looking through the bug spray aisle because I'm having issues with gnats in my kitchen. A young employee by the name of Chance approached me and asked if I needed any help. I proceeded to inform him of my gnat issue at home and he gave me a few options. He was very friendly and helpful. He also assisted me on downloading the Walgreens app for coupon usage. On this same visit, I also visited the makeup section. At this section, Zulema was the employee who assisted me. She was very patient and very attentive! She also assisted on helping me to use the digital coupons on the app. I actually saved $11!I'd like to commend Walgreens for having such wonderful employees! I especially appreciated that I felt both employees were eager to help me .This visit will certainly will not be my last visit to the Walgreens in Burbank! I just wanted to tell you all how amazing the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens location really is. For a week I had been tossed around by my doctor's office with a prescription that needed to be picked up by the end of the week or I would no longer have access to it! Zach, from the Pharmacy Department, was consistent Monday through Thursday to make sure I get that prescription. Not only did he continuously call my doctor's office to hurry the process, he also called me to make sure I was up to date! It's because of him that I got my prescription before expiration! Worst service ever. I did not receive my receipt when i made a purchase. Walked right back in and asked for a copy and was told i can not get one. I would need to call corporate. Angela or the fat ass manager that approached me from the back office was no help at all. She was extremely rude. This Walgreens was great. I called to ask about the photo center and making a photo book and the employee on the line was so cheerful and helpful (she even approached me when I got to the store to confirm that it was me on the line and that everything was going well). The employee helping me at the photo center was also great. While they were having issues with the machine, he assured me that he would call ASAP and let me know about any updates with the machine, and that he did! Within a few hours he called that the machine was working and my album was ready. When I got there, another employee helped me pay for the item (I was even able to apply a coupon). Really great and helpful employees. Will definitely go back! read more

They offer a lot of great products. I like the variety, and eventhough it comes bit pricier compared to CVS or Target, it is compensated by lucrarive working hours. What I dislike is their cashiers. I am extremely disappointed with the fact that they are misrepresenting themselves by saying they are a 24 hour Pharmacy, when they are not. I needed some medication filled and lo and behold...they were closed...at 9:30!! I can see our smaller Walgreen's closing that early, but a Walgreen's that is supposed to have a 24 hour Pharmacy? No. They may not be as busy, but they should always have have someone there to fill prescriptions. Otherwise, take the advertising that you have a 24 hour pharmacy down so you do not misrepresent yourselves and misinform those who need to get medication filled after 9:00 at night. The only reason for the 3 stars, is that I have been in the store and it is clean, and the staff is helpful. read more

This is for the pharmacy. So slow and they don't care. I got the girl with the blue hair. Just needed to get some antibiotics. She said it would be 15 minutes and did I want to wait. I told her no I would just come back in an hour. So I came back in an hour and was told it was not ready and I would need to take a seat. So another 10 minutes pass and I'm watching her the whole time as she is now making someone else's order. Then she finishes and opens the drawer and there is my prescription sitting there. She never even checked. Disgusted with them. Never returning. Going to a small neighborhood pharmacy like we all should. These people do not care and it will not get better until we all take our business elsewhere. read more

This place is officially on my black list! I purchased three vanilla gift cards here for friend's birthdays to find out that the stupid cashier did NOT activate them! So essentially they charged me a few hundred bucks and the gift cards had NO balance! It was very embarrassing and mortifying to get calls from the gift card recipients to tell me their gift card did not work.and all that because Walgreens hires people who don't know what they are doing! I had lost the purchase receipt and I was left with my credit card statement so I called the Wallgreen headquarters to get help for some rude a$$ woman to tell me that Wallgreens can't do anything about it. REALLY? That's how you provide customer service? I disputed the transaction with my credit card to get my money back! I will never set a foot to this Walgreens again and they lost a very good customer! I'm gonna start going to the CVS across the street! read more

The manager there promised to call me as soon as they unbox the in stock Marvel exclusive Pop figures from the stock room, but when I called back the following day to check on the status of the items since the online product seeker indicated the inventory went from 6 to 9 in stock down to 2 to 5 in stock. The staff told me that someone came and bought the whole case (set of 2) in the morning and there were none available. I asked the person if the manager was available since she may of put some on hold for me, he rudely responded that the manager is not available and he can't not provide when she'll be in due to employees' personal information. I don't understand when did the availability of a manager considered as personal information! I'm extremely disappointed with this Walgeens' services and how they treat their customers. read more
