This was once a store that I truly loved and would go into on many occasions even without needing anything to purchase. There once was a time when the store was beautifully kept and the staff was friendly, always had what I needed and getting what I needed and not having to wait hours on a line was a dream. Now, I honestly feel my days of coming to Walgreens has come to an end. Over the last few months, I have come here less and less because the store is not the same anymore. Many associates are not friendly, do not have a clue as to what you are needing or questions you have, but that's not all. Lately, they never have anything I need, products are always moved some place else, and for some reason the prices are getting ridiculous high. A few days ago I walked in and the store was a sauna!!! It was so hot that you couldn't breath!! A few people actually put away their stuff and walked out because they couldn't take it anymore. It was so hot out that day which made it worse. I get things happen, but lately it seems it's happening too much!! Whatever is going on, Walgreens needs to figure it out or else it's time to take my needs to Rite Aid. They may have long lines, but I always get what I need and the prices are affordable for the SAME THING!! Get it together Walgreens!!! read more

Tried to get a Western Union cash transfer done here. The clerk had no idea what he was doing. Ended up going a block to rite-aid where it was done in minutes. Update: Went back and talked to another employee about the problem and it turns out that the first employee had no clue what he was doing but the rest do. read more

Always super long lines and prices are so much higher than the other chain drug store a short block away. Do yourselves a favor and just walk out and get cheaper prices (and a short line, if no line at all) at the drug store a short block away. Cashiers very slow & don't care if customers are waiting. The other day I saw one employee walk off the line to take passport photos of a customer, while the checkout line was stretched all the way to the back. I'm giving a very specific review-on 8/22 at 2:28 pm a completely blind man was dictating what was to be written on some greeting cards to the female employee at the cosmetics counter who was kindly writing them out for him. When you go to this store make sure that the item price and the register price are correct. If you should bring it to their attention it does not mean they will rectify. I had a item which I bought two weeks ago and the register price are still not correct. The people who have been working the register for a long time are very friendly and helpful but their new register people are not very helpful and very rude. read more

Horrible place. Went there to pick up my internet ordered photos twice. Both of the time I got the emails photos are ready and when I went there, they are not ready. First time I had to wait for a long time, second time they asked me to come back. Lazy people with inefficient service. Gave me such a run around for something so simple. I would drive out of my way anyway to come to this particular Walgreens. They're always clean, friendly, well stocked, with a good selection of personal care, home products, etc. This Walgreens always has a lot of shoppers, however unlike other locations, the workers here try their best to minimize the wait time and open up other registers in the make up department. read more

DO NOT USE THIS WALGREENS PHARMACY!!! I went in today for a covid vax booster. I arrived at 4:30 for my scheduled appointment. The man who took my information was really professional and asked me to take a seat and wait. There were 4 employees behind the pharmacy and he was the only one hustling, working with a long line of customers. I saw the 4:45 booster appointment check in, then the 5:00 appointment though he was early. The 4:45 customer was full of issues; couldn't find insurance, trying to get Walgreens points for the vaccine, loud, making a scene...then spent over 20 minutes talking to the pharmacists while I waited for my turn, at this point it's nearly 5 o'clock. Oh, and the cashier was still hustling while his colleagues talked nonsense to the 4:45. Here's where it gets crazy! One of the pharmacist hands the 3 syringes filled with vax doses to this random customer!!!! She's tapping them, holding them up to the light, touching them all over!!!! At this point i went to the pharmacist, insisted that the redraw my dose and asked Ms 4:45 to step away from the window. I couldn't believe they allowed this breach of protocol!! They insisted she was a pharmacist and that it was ok! Really, she's trying to get Walgreens points for her dose and doesn't have insurance but she's a pharmacist?!?!? The other man in line was watching his phone with AirPods, they didn't redraw his dose before administering. Truly a shocking experience and I will pull my prescriptions from this pharmacy. I'm now questioning if my booster is legitimate. read more

For such a large store that Key Food used to be in this very location, the Walgreen's in tiny. It's the same old Rite Aid/Duane Reade type of place with those types of inflated prices. There are plenty of mom and pop shops in the neighborhood to get your things are at a better price. read more

Combined with Rite Aid, you have the total of one great store. Separately? Not so much. I'm used to larger Walgreen's that are more like mini Walmart's and less like bodegas. The store is clean, there are some good deals when the stuff is on sale, and the staff is really nice... so that's where this place earns 2 stars. The one thing I hate is the checkout -- there is ALWAYS a line...always. Get off the train right after work? Line. Go there at 9pm? Line. Stop in at 11am on a Saturday? Line. Need to pick up a small item in a hurry on a Sunday afternoon? Line. I have yet to find a time of day where there ISN'T a long line. And I'm not talking a quick couple minute wait -- I'm talking a good 10 - 15 minute wait with about a dozen people in line. That's when I usually drop everything I have and head over to Rite Aid. read more

The korean pharmacist is a 4 letter word I'd like to use but can't. She's ignorant, condescending, rude, and constantly gives issues worth making my mother's Perscriptions. I highly recommended not going here and avoiding her at all costs. She discriminatory to say the least. It amazes me that i have complained to corporate and nothing is done! Deep in the heart of one of my favorite parts of BayRidge, I do 1/3 of my shopping that includes at least once to twice a week trips to Walgreens, you never know what you will find here even without the weekly circular. Thats progress. The staff is always on the ball and the wait time at check out has improved somewhat. If they had a location without a parking lot, the store may have a diverse effect on business. I called the store to see if they carried walkers as I have just broken my leg. The woman on the phone had no idea if they had walkers which I found strange considering it's a fairly large item. While I was on the phone she said to somebody else "we don't carry walkers, do we?".A pretty negative way to ask. The person told her yes they are in aisle 27. I then asked how much do they cost. She told me she had no idea! I then asked if someone could please check so I would know how much money to have with me. She then put me on hold for 11 minutes. All of a sudden I got a ringtone and she picked up the phone and accused me of hanging up. I told her I would never have hung up as I was desperate to get a walker. She replied that she hadn't hung up because she's "not that type of person". Weird. read more

This review is for the staff that works in the pharmacy, as they have been so helpful. My pet needed to get a chemo pill that had to be split in two. That was something that I did not want to do at home, as you had to take great precautions in doing so. There was a pharmacist who was so nice, he did it for me before I went to pick them up. When the vet adjusted my cat's dose, and the pill had to be cut again into quarters, I went back with those same pills that had already been cut in half. The pharmacist was so helpful and cut them again for me. He even expressed concern that my pet was so ill. Truly excellent customer service...a little kindness and compassion goes a long way. read more

Store cashiers are really rude!!! They were extremely rude today 06.20.18, giving me an attitude. Two cashiers were not helpful at all. They were referring one to another. All they need to do was TAKE MONEY AND GIVE ME THE RECEIPT. All previous process of sending money was done by me on computer. One of them finally took the money and threw it on desk. I don't even want to give this store one star!!! This store Had a sale $2.99 a case of water Limit 3. After work I called my aunt and my cousin and asked if they wanted to go with me since I am going and I have my car with me. The Plan was my aunt picks my cousin up and meet me there they get whatever they want and I will drive the water back to my aunts to help her unload the water since she cannot lift heavy items and then drop my cousin off and help her with her water and then I get mine. When we get there I load the waters for my aunt in one cart and then mine in another after we finished shopping my cousin decides after we load everything she will come back into the store and get hers. THe worker Tiffany conviently decides to tell me I cannot buy all that water, which I didnt think anything of it because I am not buying all the water I am buying mine and my aunt is buying hers! So I told her I am not it says 3 limit. per person. and she says NO PER HOUSE HOLD! so it still made no difference to me because none of us lived together. After we finish loading everything and helped my aunt with her stuff my aunt left first. While my cousin and I went back in to get her 3. The employee at the register stated we could not buy anymore because we went over our limit. So she calls Tiffany to come out she starts saying it's 3 per house hold. I told her that isn't a problem she can check our ID's if that is necessary because we do not live together and It does not say anywhere in the flier it's 3 per house hold. Then she asks if I would like to speak to a manager. So I said fine. Now the manager tells me she did me a favor by selling me 6. Which I told her NO you did not do me any favors and in the future you do not have to do me any favors because I did not purchase 6 for myself. she goes on to say whether I came in with 3 people or 30 people in a group it's limit 3 per group.... NOW DOES THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE?? so I go on to say no because 3 asians walk in you automatically thought we were in the same house hold. So she was like ok fine I will let you buy these last three but next time you guys come in together just remember it's per group. I was furious because nothing she said makes sense. She also said she needed to keep enough in stock for other customers to keep customers happy and if we wanted we can come back in an hour or tomorrow and we can buy more. SO were we not customers that should have been happy and why do I have to waste my time to come back and get more water when I am there? I don't want any more water my cousin is just trying to get her three. So she took the three waters from us because I guess by that time I was furious and maybe a little loud. But I went out to my car and loaded my waters that were purchased. and returned everything I will never do any business there. I recently went to Walgreens to purchase a buy 1 get 1 free item that I had noticed the night before,when I arrived it was still on sale the added sale sticker was still below the item.When I went to checout at the register the item was not in the system as on sale,the asian man incharge of tagging the items with the prices went to retrieve the sticker/tag with the sale price.When returning back to the register he had said there was no sale tag on or below the item,I then went to retrieve it to find that it was removed (by who)? GUESS,the asian tag boy,he denied it and I asked for the manager who was no help at all,I also asked for someone to look at the video tape to show that I was sane and this was true,I was told there is no camera in that section,ANOTHER LIE.In the most pricey section where the diet supplements are there is no camera,,,yea ok.Anyway this action that he pulled is illegal and the manager went along with it probably because the item was no longer on sale and the asia boy failed to remove the ticket when he should have.They are not doing there job right in this place and I am contacted consumer affairs regarding this matter..Buyers beware... read more

The most mismanaged store I've had the displeasure of dealing with in a long time. Be prepared to wait on a long line that goes all the way to the freezer section while one kid stands lone at the register while other workers waste time looking to see what needs stocking on the shelves. But wait, that's not all! There's *always* the one register worker pulled away to waste time helping some grandma that wants to print that single baby picture. Yes, this is all true folks. That one employee is wasted on a single $3.99 photo sale while customers are waiting to pay lined to the wall. I've dropped my items and walked out on several occasions! I only go back as they seem to be the only ones that stock a specific item I like. So, if you can get whatever it is you want at *any* other store do yourself and your health a favor and buy elsewhere. The lack of stress alone is worth it to your health. read more

If your are going to buy perscription meds from this store I'd strongly suggest you count them. I've been shorted in pill counts three time. The firs time I accepted the pharmacy clerks apology and "human error" excuse. The second time same excuse began to smell bad. The third time I did not accept apology and suggested to clerk that it was time to stop cheating customers. read more

They ended up giving me copies again. Although copies weren't as good as before at least they tried. Photos now appear larger in person than on my iPad... Wasn't the case before. But I heard they have a new system... So maybe that's it. I will still limit how many prints I get. read more
