Okay came in to grab some tums and ended up buying ice cream as well. I literally just left the shop right now and you all are doing great and very mature, I wanted to tell you in person but I was afraid to make a scene in front of the lady that denied showing her ID for a pack of cigarettes. To the cashier that was helping her, you were only doing your job by requesting it and it's not your fault she didn't like it. She was completely out of hand and loud for no reason. My husband and I both contracted Covid, and the pharmacy didn't check their fax so we had to wait an extra day to get my prescriptions. My husband's were called in on another day. I needed a couple of things from the store so my husband placed an order to pick up at the window. Obviously we did not want to spread our germs going inside the store. We placed the order a minimum of 45 minutes before going to pick it up along with my scripts. The order was supposed to be ready in 30 minutes. He had the products and order number on his phone. There was a young lady at the Drive through window. She gave us my meds and my husband asked about the order. She claimed to have no knowledge of it. He showed her his phone with the order number and she still said it wasn't placed. She wandered off before he had a chance to tell her that we would come back the next day as it wasn't that urgent. We went to pick up our groceries curbside and just for the heck of it we drove back. She scolded us like we were schoolchildren who didn't know how to behave. We went and drove around and picked up a portion of our order as one thing was out of stock. I told the very nice young man who handed us the baggie to tell the young lady that when she has children of her own she may feel free to scold them however she pleases but that we are adults and she had no right to speak to us that way. I explained what happened and we left. My husband who is very cool and collected was so mad. Even the next day he was still mad. That is not like him at all. This younger generation of everyone gets a trophy honestly feel so entitled that they believe they can talk to customers any way they wish. I was a nurse way before she was born. Long before single vial shots I was doing fractions to make sure a patient got the correct dose of medicine and she thinks she's special by handing out baggies of meds? I recently went to this Walgreens and asked for assistance from a woman at the pharmacy. I do not remember exactly what her name was, except that her name started with an L (could have been Lisa), and she was a short blonde woman. I am shocked at the awful level of service I received! This L woman was so rude, she made condescending remarks, rolled her eyes at me, and was downright insulting to my intelligence! I will NOT be returning to this Walgreens again! just now If I could give this pharmacy location 0 stars I would!!! Went through the drive thru to drop off my 8yr olds prescription. They said no problem, 45min. I gave them an extra 5/10 minutes, for them to tell me when I got back that the lines are down to verify insurance. My question to them is why didn't they notify me... they responded that they were busy. Ok... annoyed but let it go... then they proceed tell me that they can switch medication but need to get a hold of the doctor... they were able to have the doctor switch it but now I have to wait another 30 to 45 minutes because her supervisor is getting ready to go to lunch.... about 5 minutes or so goes by and they say that they can have my prescription ready now, which I have to pay out of pocket and to come back tomorrow for reimbursement. I go back and she only has 1 out of my 3 prescriptions ready!!!! The other 2 won't be ready until another hour!!!! so unprofessional and disorganized.the managers name was stephenie.. she was very rude and had no customer service skills...my first time getting a prescription here and definitely my last!!!! I was so frustrated I just asked for my paperwork back and will be going to Rite-Aid when they open. read more

Other than that, between the hours of 7am and 10pm I'll drive across town to the Walgreens off of Beaumont Ave. The staff at the Beaumont Ave. store is more polite and they all seem to enjoy their jobs. I've always been a fan of Walgreens. I was super sad when they stopped taking my insurance company. Walgreens carries lots of snack type items that I'm a fan of including trail mix. They also have a pretty decent toy section at a good price. They also have good sales. You just have to catch things when they are on sale. They have a lot of buy one get one type deals. They also have a rewards program that's definitely worth signing up for. This store is clean and one of the better Walgreens in the area. read more

I am 8 months pregnant. I was having horrible back pain and cramps. I went to the hospital Thursday 19th at 12am. After almost 3 hours of uncomfortably waiting, they found I had a really bad bladder infection. They wrote me a prescription at this Walgreens even though it is not close to our house since it was a 24 hour pharmacy. We drove out of our way to it. My husband waits in line behind 1 woman. It had been about an hour since the hospital called in my antibiotics so the prescription should be filled and this should only take a minute. As soon as the woman is done and he walks to window, the pharmacist says she has to go on break and would be back in an hour. It is 3am! My husband tells her I was in a lot of pain, so much pain I could not stop throwing up. And I needed this medication asap. He told her I was very uncomfortable sitting in the car and could not wait an hour. He told her I was sick and needed the medicine to start working so it would not affect the health of our baby. He told her I needed the antibiotics in my system asap. He told her it was the middle of the night and he needed to get me home and in bed. He told her it would only take a minute. He was the only customer waiting and the prescription had been called in a long time ago. She said she had to go on break and would not help him and closed the window on him. My husband came to the car and told me we had to sit in the car and wait an hour to get my medicine. I was in so much pain and I was so tired after being up all night in a hospital. I can't believe the pharmacist would not have mercy on me and help us out. I called the store to speak to the pharmacist since she closed the window. The pharmacy voicemail said it was closed (weird since it is a 24 hour pharmacy). I then called the store and asked to speak to the manager. Nicole spoke with me. I told her what just happened. She told me she was there when it happened and that the pharmacist had to take a break so she didn't go over her hours. I told her there was no one in line after my husband and that it would only take a minute. I told her how much pain I was in, how pregnant I was, and how tired I was. She said she couldn't do anything. I asked her why do they advertise 24 hour pharmacy when they close for an hour? I told her we came out of our way to this Walgreens only because it was 24 hours! If we knew they closed we would have driven to a different pharmacy. Nicole the manager just said, "I can't do anything, I don't know what to say, I can't help you, we can't afford to have 2 pharmacists on". She was no help at all. So we have to wait, in pain, till 4am. My doctor said the infection was so bad it could have started premature labor. I needed those antibiotics really bad. Once we did finally get the antibiotics the pharmacist was very rude. This pharmacy has no sympathy to sick people in pain. They lie and say they are open 24 hours when they are not. That is false advertising. They are rude and selfish. I will never go to this or probably any Walgreens for fear of this happening again. I think corporate should not let them advertise 24 pharmacy if they are not. I think the people who work at a pharmacy should be more merciful to sick people in pain and not so worried about waiting to eat their lunch for 3 extra minutes. This could have made me go in to premature labor or affected the health of me or my baby. I can't believe people could be so horrible. Do not shop here ever! read more

I have taken at least 6 prescriptions here in the last 2 months and they STILL act like its an ordeal to get the insurance to go through. I never have this problem anywhere else, but keep trying to give this place a chance because it's 24 hrs and close by. But how do they seem to find it so difficult every time?!? They end up figuring it out every time but it still takes all this extra time and is a huge headache. Its literally some dramatic ordeal. It's like a game of deja vu that never ends. I went to Walgreens to return a blood pressure cuff that I purchased earlier today that did not work. The cashier was almost rude to me and acted as if he thought I had stolen the item even though I had my cash receipt. He requested I show him ID, I went in my wallet and pulled out my Veterans ID and Privilege card to which the cashier said "I need to see state or government issued ID", I replied this is United States Government issued ID. He then said I need to see a drivers license, At that point I stated you think I stole this item, because thats the way I was being treated. I went into my purse and presented him with my drivers license, he then asked me for my phone number, I told him I had been shopping there for 8 or 9 years and had never been treated in this manner and would never return to this store as we have a new Rite Aid down the street to which he replied "good". I told him I did not remember my phone number and if he had a problem with it to call a manager. The Manager arrived, the cashier explained what was going on and stated that I was refusing to give him my phone number. The Manager looked at me and I told him I rarely call myself that I am 73 years old and don't remember my phone number. The Manager hit a key on the cash register then left, I was given my refund then I left the store never, never, never to return again read more

The customer service isn't very good here. They are almost always understaffed. Don't use the photo service here, it's hit or miss. The only reason I keep going here is that I've got my daughter's prescription on auto fill and haven't switched them over yet. Go down the street to Rite Aid or Walmart. read more

Now on my second hour waiting for my Rx's. Doctor called in and they should have been ready when I arrived. They were not. Went to the counter twice checking on the progress and was told they were working on it. After a full hour I was told that my Rx was "lost in the shuffle". When I finally was able to pay they had only filled 1 of 2 Rx's. I have a copy of the document sent by the doctor and there are clearly 2 to be filled. Still waiting....... Too many places to have prescriptions filled to put up with this unprofessional nonsense. Will definitely not be back here ever again. read more

The worst customer service ever! They are rude, slow, and lack knowledge. I broke my back and they said that my insurance would not approve my medication. I got an approval from my insurance on Thursday the 20th. I called them on Thursday they said they had not received the approval and they could not fill my prescription. I called again on Friday they said they had not received my approval and could not fill my prescription. I went the whole weekend with a broken back and without my medication. I called my doctors office Monday morning and they informed me that the insurance approved my medication on the 20th and they don't know why the pharmacy won't fill it. I then called the pharmacy and the rude lady that answered the phone said one was ready but the other one was not ready. I told her I had an authorization number that it was ready. She told me "what am I supposed to do with an authorization number"? I told her I don't know that's not my job it's hers. I asked her if she could call my doctor and try to figure it out she said she would get around to it. I told her that I would be there in 45 minutes to pick up my medication at this is ridiculous. She then told me it would be at least two hours. Keep in mind she knows I have a broken back into spots and am in a tremendous amount of pain. People like her should not even have a job working with the general public. read more

ZERO STARS!!!! This pharmacy is the worst I have ever been to in my life. I have put off this review a couple times thinking everyone has a bad day. After sitting in the drive up pharmacy line for 20 minutes just to watch the car ahead of us never even get acknowledged by an employee inside...I about lost my mind. Not to mention I had my three month old child start to melt down after 15 minutes of just sitting there which wasn't helping my patience levels. Needless to say, I had had enough. I went inside and went straight to the front of the pharmacy counter. I looked around the divider to see where the employees were because I saw no one...and there were about 10 people in line on the inside. I saw three employees around the back and asked (quite loudly and I'm sure I startled them but I wanted to make my point) them what was taking so long. A female said she was the only one working the drive up window. I gave her the speech about how no one has even once acknowledged the lady in front of us and I had personally watched her ring the bell and knock on the window multiple times. I told them their lack of customer service was not acceptable and stormed out. I will NEVER do business with this Walgreens again if they do not completely overhaul the pharmacy. I have such mixed feelings about this Walgreens. Everything except for the pharmacy aspect of this location is perfectly fine. I'm usually welcomed when I go in to shop, but the service in pharmacy is atrocious. I have tried on 4 separate occasions just to get a pharmacist on the phone, waiting for upwards of fifteen to twenty minutes. When I do, the staff are rude and don't provide any information unless I pry it out of them. I have waited in the drive-Thru for close to half an hour (forcibly since there was a customer in front of me and one behind me). My prescription was supposedly pending approval from my doctor every time I called and actually was able to speak with someone and now I have nothing pending at all, but no medication ready. Come to find they had faxed an urgent care doctor who doesn't do refills instead of my regular doctor. How could three separate pharmacists overlook that? This is my welfare we're dealing with here. I don't feel important whenever I use this service. Pretty unsatisfactory for a business promoting wellness. Step it up, Walgreens. read more

I am very sick and I came to this pharmacy because it's 24hours. My husband and I showed up around 9 after urgent care to drop off a prescription. It took over an hour to get up to the window and there was only one car in front of us. She asked me some questions, and for some reason they always ask if I'm from Minnesota and tell me my address is wrong??? No! I've never lived in Minnesota she was very rude to me when I answered a question wrong. And told me that the prescription would be ready at 11 so my husband drove back. He waited in line for an entire hour again and got to the window to be told that my insurance was canceled because I had switched and that I would need to call with the info on my new insurance. So it's now midnight and I feel like death. I called Walgreens and we waited on hold for 42 minutes. Finally the pharmacist answered and she was extremely rude. I understand you are one person and you are busy but we were told to call back with my information so that my prescriptions would be filled. She kept talking over my husband saying " I'm busy" a hundred times. She wouldn't even let him explain why he was calling. She asked us to call back in 15 minutes and he refused because we just sat on hold for 42 minutes. She wouldn't even take down the information to fix my insurance. She put us on hold and had someone else answer the phone which by the way she was extremely helpful. I believe her name was Melissa and she fixed everything for us. Melissa was very understanding to our situation! I finally got my prescription all thanks to Melissa. read more
