Long, long wait time. Scheduled a covid test appt online. Went in talked to pharmacy staff, they told me to wait until I'm called out. Waited over 50mins, went to front & asked about how much longer it will take & they said "you never checked in" Um maybe the staff didn't check me in. I came in & went to the pharmacy, I did my part at the right time. After I had finally been "checked in" I waited another 20 mins to get a 10sec swab for $33. Before this I heard the acting pharmacist ask every staff member in back how they proceed with the simple swab test. Will not go to this site ever again. If I ever get sick again I will just get the two for one test kit & do it at home for $23 read more

I have never seen lines move so slow. It's embarrassing I waited 20 minutes with one person in line in front of me. Then when I left there was 8 people in line. There really is no excuse for this incompetency especially considering they were full staffed. One guy behind me complained and they offered no real explanation. He was rightfully pissed as right outside the pharmacy you have employees messing around. These are people that could've been diverted to help, but it said they're being paid to just screw around in front of the pharmacy where people are watching. read more

I've been to some sad places but this Walgreens is like going into a mortuary. The people there seem to hate their lives or hate work. The woman who helped me made me feel like I was interrupting whatever she was doing. I typically hate going to Walgreens ( especially closer to home) because lines are long and service is awful. Today was a totally different experience. I was asked if I needed help finding anything and even had a nice quick chat with the cashier while my items were being purchased. The service at this store is the worst . The cashier was really rude and racist. he wanted me to wait on line more than everyone else just because he thought we tried to cut the line. Advised by phone my prescription would be available the following day by 11a. I arrive following day at 5p. The prescription hasn't been filled. I verify my name and DOB and there's a completely different name on the file with duplicate info. They tell me give us 10 minutes to fill your prescription. I wait 20 and I'm told "sorry we don't have your medication to fill." This company is not customer centric. I virtually guarantee Amazon pharmacy will bankrupt Walgreens. read more

This is for the pharmacy. They are not patient focused and do not care to save their customers money. Pharmacies are businesses too- you have the right to fill your prescriptions at other locations, which would be my strong suggestion. Often times Frys and Albertsons pharmacies are excellent! The excuse I was given was because I have a Mesa address on file. I guess when you are young and black. You will always be judged and discriminated against. Won't be coming back ever again . Been going to this pharmacy for the past two years. Not because I want to - it's the only one within a reasonable distance that my insurance will pay for. This pharmacy sucks. My average wait time to pick up a prescription in line or in the drive thru is over 30 minuets, but sometimes longer. You'd think a big chain like WALGREENS would have a more efficient system in place, but not this one. And their automated refill system is always screwing up my refills. Recently I had to go an entire month without any test strips, because they screwed up my refills. And they don't even care. They just treat you like you're an inconvenience. read more

Lines are always really long with wait times longer than they say. I had an appointment for Covid booster and waited in line for 20 minutes to check in only to be told I was late for my appointment, but was actually 15 minutes early, but waited for 20 minutes to be helped. Two people were helped before me even though they were behind me in line because of how they service at multiple windows. I filled out paperwork online to "facilitate" the check in process but was told that for it to count I had to print it. There was no prompt to print on my end. This was another bad experience for me and only come here because it is one of the only place in network for my insurance. I have received poor service at this location for years. read more

I'm irritated! I buy two pictures online, it says it'll be ready in one hour that same day. I call, I get sass right off the bat, and the guy hung up on me. When I called again, he gave me sass again and said it won't be ready until the next morning and I told him that it said online it'll be ready at 7pm 1/19/20 and he said the system meant 7am and that's when I asked "why does it say 1/19 as the date not 1/20". Next time getting my prescriptions filed took over 48 hours to fill all because my preference is to have 90 day prescriptions. Well these pharmacist are so dumb they could fill my prescription because it was a 30 day and my preference is 90 day. Pharmacy is always great I went to Walgreens because I was feeling a little under the weather and thought it would be good to stock up on some over the counter medicine. As I was looking for the items I needed to purchase I was asked if I needed assistance and if I found everything I was looking for. It's nice to see people go out of theory way to make sure your shopping expeirence is positive. After selecting some over the counter medicines I walked around the store and purchased juice, a few snacks, and even a "as seen on tv" item or two. Walgreens is a great place to grab exactly what you need any time of the day of night and the staff is always friendly and helpful. read more

Bad location to get your drugs from. Never pleased with their pharmacy drive thru. Long lines and longer waiting. The pharmacist helping us at the time, was probably the cause for the long waiting period. She kept telling us to hold on then she'd come back after several minutes and ask how she could help again?!?!? After finally purchasing our order, she forgot to give us back our credit card. We then had to convince her that we didn't receive it and that it had to be somewhere in her reach. After she found it in her possession, she still found it hard to believe that she could forgot nonetheless misplace our card, but we didn't find it hard to believe. We will not be getting our pharmaceuticals from here again. We'll find another Walgreens location next time around. read more

Use to be easy and convenient to fill and pick up prescriptions. Don't know why I have had an issue the last 2 time I had to fill a prescription. First time they missed a prescription and gave me some stupid explanation. Second time issue with prescription and once I explained they stated it would be filled. Then they wanted me to pull around due to the Pharmacist was giving someone a shot and could not fill until Pharmacist reviewed it. The clerk told me I couldn't bring my service dog in, even after I informed her she was a service dog. Another customer said to me, "How do I know she's a service dog? Can't I just bring my dog in? It seems like a good trick." Offended, I tried to remain calm, and replied, "There must be a prescribed medical need for a service companion, and it must perform a service." I asked for the manager, and explained the situation, and she replied, "Usually service dogs wear vests." I let her know that ADA laws do not require the animal to wear any discernible markings, and employees are allowed to ask two questions: 1) IS THAT A SERVICE DOG? 2) WHAT SERVICES DOES IT PERFORM? Ironically I was here to pick up a prescription for my service pet. The pharmacist recognized me, and was very kind. The pharmacy staff are the only reason why I'm giving a two stars. If it was just a pharmacy experience, I'd give 5 stars. I was going to make several purchases here tonight, but my dog and I are always welcomed without question at CVS, so my business is going there. I've been filling my prescriptions here for 5 years. I'll miss Stacie. My dog's purpose is to lessen my anxiety, and being treated as I was, only upset me. It was at the very least a disappointing experience. Sitting here in pain because the pharmacy is "backed up." On the way home from having major surgery, we stopped by this store to get my prescription for a pain medication filled. While I waited in the car, my husband went in and was told my Rx wouldn't be ready for at least 3 hours. The medication I was given at the hospital is wearing off and now i get to sit here, trying to be responsible and rest, but finding it hard to do so because of the pain. I've worked retail for many many years, and I can completely understand these things are sometimes beyond our control. But this pharmacy has showed a complete lack of compassion and/or concern. Way to excel at customer service. Last time I use Walgreens to fill a Rx or purchase anything for that matter. read more

My 10 month old needed a script badly and I had spoken to this pharmacy at 9:30am...after dealing with rude and disorganized staff most of the day they finally said my script would be ready at 5:30. Sure enough after dragging my sick baby over there it wasn't ready. They told me to come back at 7:00 which I did and it still wasn't ready...he saw me coming and rushed to the back to get it ready . Dropped off prescription at 1pm told them I would be back at 4 or after for pick up. Got to Walgreens about 5, was told it wasn't ready they had been backed up. She asked if I wanted to wait 10 minutes to have them filled I said yes. Waited 20 minutes went back up and was told it wasn't ready yet it needed to be checked it would be another 10 minutes. Well almost by 6 it was ready, I shouldn't of had to wait this long. Do your self a favor your better off driving to a different Walgreens further away to get your medication filled quicker. Just called & pharmacy tech Kaitlyn was lying to me because I was asking her to call around and see which pharmacy had my medication in stock because I'm out. I had my doctor call my medicine in yesterday because I was out and they tell me oh we can't fill in til the 22nd when I know that's a lie because they filled it early before.
