Our usual esthetician was unavailable that weekend for our waxes, so we scrambled to find a suitable replacement. I remembered that Ulta has easy online booking for various beauty services, including waxing. Kya did a brow/lip/chin wax for me, and a brow wax and tint for my mother. Kya was absolutely meticulous and precise with our brows. As a major plus, the wax was not nearly as painful as it usually is and she was incredibly gentle. My mom was particularly pleased with her brow tint, as Kya took her input into account when deciding on a tint color. We will certainly be back to see Kya for our future waxing needs!

I barely got to see my hair before she sent me the wall so her and the other stylist could pose me and take pictures. I asked for a balayage ($215) Then charged me for a full color for half my hair, only on the parts that weren't in foil. When I told her I didn't want color she insisted on putting gloss. Toner for x- long hair. (Hair is at my armpits.) but wouldn't toner be included in the cost of balayage? Tired to charge me for a full hair cut to just cut the split ends that stick out. ( she also cut a chunk of my hair off cause she was talking to another stylist and tried to hid it by holding it in her hand and let it fall behind my chair. ) and extra mix was also charged but she said she wouldn't need to use it. She asked if I wanted my hair curled I said no just blow dried and she said oh I'll curl it and won't charge you???? Uh okay. She also got hair dye on my shirt somehow. And her response was hm is that hair dye. Lol then she called and texted me and said she forgot to charge me for an additional cut.

The hair washing station is so nice and organized. Services Requested: Classic Haircut (starting at $50):** Includes a classic blowout with brush styling only. Stylist: Savannah Review: Overall, Savannah was pleasant but not very talkative. I was nervous about going with a new stylist because I have naturally curly hair, but I felt at ease after she shared her years of experience. I showed her a couple of pictures of what I was looking for, and she seemed confident. The haircut took about 10 minutes, and I quickly realized she cut way too much hair. I wasn't sure how to feel but thought I would go home and style it myself. She did not blow it out. I was hoping that once home and styled, it would look better. Unfortunately, it didn't. I emailed the salon to express my dissatisfaction but never received a response or call. I have waited almost three weeks before writing this review, hoping the cut would grow on me, but it just seems to get worse. It's an uneven, choppy haircut. It's extremely short, and somehow the back is shorter than the front. I've even tried straightening it, but it doesn't look any better. This feels like a haircut you give someone you hate. It has completely shot my confidence. I hope this review helps others avoid what I'm going through and helps Savannah get proper training on cutting curly hair.

My son did not mind getting his haircut at all. The vibe of the place was very fun and kept my son entertained while we waited for our appointment. The only bad thing I have to say is I was bummed that the printer that prints out the first haircut photo put a bunch of lines through the photo and it's ruined and we paid $43. Get a better printer please. Good thing I got great photos of my son's first haircut myself but super bummed what I paid for was ruined.
