    The broken sensor

This applies to a couple other Walgreens pharmacies as well. My cat has diabetes. She was prescribed a Freestyle Libre, a glucose monitor, by her vet. This is usually for humans, but my vet said it works well for cats too. It's a valid prescription written by a medical professional. This still seemed to be overwhelmingly confusing for the pharmacy staff and I had to go back and forth for almost two weeks before they would fill the prescription. They gave me a defective sensor. It was broken from the manufacturer, which we found out at the vets office while my cat was there to undergo her procedure. My vet told me to go "exchange" the defective sensor for a non-defective sensor at this location. Simple right? When you buy something defective, you go and get a replacement, in and out right? I had the broken sensor with me and my receipt. My vet spoke to this pharmacy in front of me where I overheard the plan - go to this pharmacy and walk out with a non-defective, exchanged sensor. The older blonde female pharmacist was in a bad mood when I walked in. I said I was there to exchange the sensor. She paused and then with an attitude asked what I was talking about. She said the vet never said I had a defective sensor and that I would have to pay for a new one. These sensors are almost $100. I declined to do so citing that this was defective when it was given to me by a Walgreens pharmacy. I was confused at why she had such an attitude and why I couldn't simply exchange a broken product for a working product. I expressed my confusion. I am small and look young - she must have thought I was a child because she started speaking to me caricaturely slowly, over enunciating, and asking condescendingly if I understood what was going on. I said no I don't because I'm being told very different things and it doesn't make sense to me that I can't exchange an obviously defective product. She condescendingly asked if I wanted her to call the manufacturer. I said yes and she said they probably won't answer because it's the weekend. What do you know, they answered immediately. She could have done this before I picked up the prescription or offered it immediately when I walked in since that is part of her job. I was clearly distressed as my cat was currently at the vet waiting for me to bring back a working sensor so they could continue with the procedure. This woman has no business being in this profession due to her incredibly off putting, rude and dismissive attitude. I am a 29 year old woman, never in my life has anyone spoken to me like I'm an inferior being. This woman clearly has emotional issues as she was in a bad mood when I walked in and clearly needed someone to take it out on. She could have calmly explained the correct procedure if my vet was incorrect. She could have showed empathy as I was clearly upset at being denied the medical sensor I needed at that moment in order to continue with a procedure that was already in progress. She acted as if I were beneath her and not worth her time. I don't accept bitter and hostile energy from someone who is in a healing profession and should have learned basic human interaction skills. This pharmacy needs to replace her. There are similar reviews to the hostile environment that has been created here.

Not much of a selection, but a friendly and helpful staff. They are also very competent, and courteous. Nothing more to brag about here.

I highly recommend if you are not already treating yourself to the occasional massage to do so now…read moreand at Milk & Honey! Prior to your massage you are given some time to enter the locker room and leave your belongings in your locker and change into your robe. You have access to the showers, toiletries and hair styling tools. Once you step out of the locker room you enter a dim lit lounge where they have light snacks and the most delicious tea while you wait to be called for your appointment. I decided to go with a lengthy 120 minute Ultimate Massage with Katie since it had been quite a while since I've had one. This included a full-body brushing (you get to keep the brush afterwards), your choice of Signature, Deep Tissue or Sports massage and a warm oil scalp & neck massage. Prior to your visit you fill out a survey to decipher how you would like your massage to focus on. I prefer a firmer massage, but not too intense that it's not enjoyable. Katie was understanding of what I wanted and also receptive to how tense some of my muscles were and adjusted as the massage proceeded. I appreciated how she answered any questions I had during the massage and checked on me periodically to make sure everything was to my liking. The massage was fabulous. Just keep in mind that the oil scalp and neck massage while it feels amazing is going to leave your hair super oily. Be prepared to shower and rinse your hair several times. After my appointment I relaxed in the lounge for a bit and then utilized the showers to rinse out the oil in my hair. You are welcome to stay as long as you like. I can't wait to come back for another massage!

Unfortunately, the experience with Milk + Honey was incredibly disappointing from the start. The booking service that coordinated our appointments made an error with our timing. By the time we arrived, the Milk + Honey staff said they couldn't accommodate us. While I understand scheduling constraints, what was frustrating was the complete lack of effort to help. There were no alternative solutions offered, no attempt to adjust services, and the response we received felt dismissive, essentially "well, you didn't make it on time," despite the situation being out of our control. As a result, 2 out of our group of 6 had to leave without services, and we were still charged a no-show fee, which is 50% of the service cost. To their credit, the booking company acknowledged their mistake and worked to make it right. They helped us rebook at 50% off and added complimentary services, which we appreciated. However, because of the no-show fee, we essentially still ended up paying full price overall. The issues didn't stop there. At checkout, we added a 20% gratuity, but it was calculated on the full service price plus the added treatments, not the discounted rate we were actually paying. This resulted in what effectively felt like closer to a 50% gratuity. Again, this is less about tipping itself and more about transparency and principle. To make matters worse, we were not given a receipt at checkout and had to call afterward to request an itemized breakdown just to understand what we were charged. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and, more importantly, like our best interests were not a priority at any point. For a place that positions itself as a luxury, customer-focused experience, this fell far short.

When I first gave them my computer I asked if they had any loaner one's I could use/rent and they told me they didn't offer them. When I called to check and they told me it would be another week they offered to give me a loaner, I explained I had asked from that at the start and inquired why they didn't extend the offer then they said it was because they aren't good loaners so they just say they don't have them.... I feel like for a company who makes a living repairing people's computers they would be more understanding of the fact that someone cannot go for 2 weeks without a computer.... I ended up having to buy another computer cause I couldn't wait two weeks and then still had the expense of them fixing it. To their credit the computer is back in working order... but they were unable to save any of the data from my computer (it had water damage). Really disappointed by their customer service and lack of communication.
