Walgreens Employees poor performance in customer service.
    Danny P.

I was notified by Walgreens on 725 Northern Lights to pick up my prescription and when I arrived it took approximately 15-20 mins for the car ahead of me. When I pulled up, I saw why it takes so long. I see 3 pharmacy employees just doing nothing, one is just staring out the indoor window, the other was standing with a basket doing the same thing and the one that finally came to the drive thru window was on her iphone for quite some time. I understand they are somewhat lacking in ethusiasm but to not acknowledge customers who see them in plain sight making customers wait on them? I switched to Walgreeans from CVS as store location was closer. I'm going back to CVS and I'm sharing with friends and family my experience.

Plenty of parking, clean store, well stocked, and nice employees make this a good stop and experience. With a drive through pharmacy, everyone's needs are met. For me, the candy isle is the biggest draw. So much candy!!

Super convenient, only 24 hour pharmacy in town. Can be super expensive though. Like I said great for convenience.

No complaints, the cashiers are always polite and helpful. Always able to get in and out without the long lines.

I don't know the whole story and she may be justified - I don't know, but my respect goes out to the staff who maintained true professionalism and calmness.

Props to the produce guy. I visited specifically to buy local sprouts. They were selling some new…read moresprout mixes I hadn't tried, but was interested in, so I checked the price then grabbed a bag and proceeded to the check stand, where I was charged more than the price posted in the produce section. I questioned the checker, who questioned another staff member nearby. They said the price charged was correct. Did I read the price card at the cooler wrong, I wondered. I had declined a receipt--I almost always do--so I dropped the sprouts off in my car, then walked back to check the posted price. That price was what I had remembered. I removed the price card to take it to the check stand. I hadn't really planned what to say, whether to ask for a partial refund so that I was paying the price marked, or what, but, turns out, Mr. Produce Man saw me taking the price card, and asked me what was up. I told him. He said probably they hadn't made new price cards to jibe with the register price yet, then he asked if I wanted a refund. I explained that I didn't have a receipt, so he asked if I wanted another package of the sprouts for FREE! I said yes, but I was uncomfortable walking out with merchandise I hadn't paid for. So he walked me to the door, chatting with me about how much and how fast his wholesale costs were rising. But I gotta say, his response put a smile on my face. He didn't want an unhappy customer. He wanted things to be right. Stand up dude. I'll go back.

Review of New Sagaya City Market - Anchorage, Alaska…read more Five weeks ago, I moved from San Francisco to Anchorage, settling near the downtown area. One of my first missions was to find a coffee spot that felt like home--a place with not just great coffee, but genuine people behind the counter. After trying a handful of cafes, a neighbor suggested New Sagaya City Market, just two blocks from my house. What a win. The market itself offers high-end, quality products. Yes, prices are a bit higher than what you'd find at Walmart or Target, but coming from San Francisco, I was prepared for that. What truly sets this place apart, though, isn't just the products--it's the people. From the very beginning, the baristas here have shown me the most consistent and heartfelt customer service I've experienced since moving to Anchorage. They don't just serve coffee; they connect with you, listen to your stories, and make you feel like part of the community. Today was a perfect example. I slipped in the parking lot (rookie mistake--no spikes on my shoes for the icy ground). After two kind gentlemen helped me up, I walked inside with my spilled coffee. Annie, a new barista I hadn't met before, immediately offered me a fresh cup with such kindness and care. That small gesture meant so much--it wasn't just about the coffee, it was about feeling seen and supported. I also want to shout out Monica and Shea, who I met when I first arrived five weeks ago. They've been consistently amazing--funny, charming, and genuinely interested in conversations about life, community, and even my adventures back in San Francisco. Every time I come in, I leave feeling lighter, happier, and more connected. Thank you, Annie, Monica, and Shea, for making New Sagaya City Market my go-to coffee spot. You've given me more than great coffee--you've given me a sense of belonging in a new city. --- Would you like me to make this version short and punchy for Google/Yelp reviews, or keep it longer and more storytelling-focused for something like a blog or social post?

If this was where I worked and they didn't shut down there place of business for the time it took…read moreto get that under control I wouldn't even put two weeks in I'd jus walk out bc thas completely disgusting and serious health issues bc the particles get in the air tha people breathe and I'm sure I'm nah the only one to open tha bathroom door today which then allows the air in there to join the air in the rest of the store and they sell warm food items there too so I can only imagine tha the food and everything else there is contaminated thas why when I got home I wiped all my Gatorade down in bleach water like actual bleach b4 I opened one to drink tbh jus thinking bout it makes me wan to vomit bc it smelt HORRENDOUS in the woman's bathroom ABSOLUTELY foul. I'm sure everyone else already feels some way about public restrooms but women aren't able to necessarily jus pull over behind a build and just go pee the way men can if they must. So I need go really bad and was still 10 mins from home but after seeing the disaster in both restrooms I suddenly didn't need to go as bad and was able to make it home to use the restroom. In a place of business known to the public as CONVENIENT STORES I'd like to say that THE PUBLIC RESTROOMS ARE ALSO APART OF BEING CONVENIENT FOR THE PUBLIC not just the foods /snacks / drink items that are sold there. And they lady I spoke with telling her the men's restroom needs to be closed off as well said " has it gotten worse?" As if I knew what it looked like before but it jus disgusts me that they knew the restrooms looked that way and still left the men's room open and available to the public. IN THE FUTURE if this were to happen again I HIGHLY recommend that the restrooms door be locked so tha we the people cannot walk into something so horrendous and the air that is infected by sh*t particles. That is a serious health violation especially since holiday-YOU sell food every time any door opens or closes the air is being shared/ pushed out the bathroom or even the entrance and exit doors fresh air is entering the building as the air in the build is being pushed out. MY POINT IS TO DO BETTER!!!!!
