I wanted to check out Salt & Stone, Necessaire, plus see what they had from Urban Decay. In hope they had anything left in stock after what seemed to be a busy black friday. Sure enough, the store felt clean, organized, easy to move through and surprisingly well stocked. Holiday gift sets were everywhere, which was great for browsing and picking up extra gifts. There were quite a few employees on the floor picking up after customers and checking to see if anyone needed help. Helpful without hovering, which is nice. Urban Decay options seemed very small this time, so I didn't find as much as I hoped for in that section. Still, the visit was success overall. Checkout was fast. I left with some gifts checked off my list!

They would have refunded to my card but I asked for it on gift card and they obliged. Everyone was very nice, offered me a bag and all that. I went to the prestige side of the store in search of a really good match for a new foundation. Marcia was a super help. I told her I was looking for a Dewey, close to full coverage foundation that'll really last some wear. She looked at my skin, used the most delicate cleanser and her first pick in foundation choice was right on the money. She helped me to also find a good setting spray and answered my questions with so much confidence and knowledge. I told her I was in a rush (my husband and our child were waiting for me) and she was quick. Comparing this location to the Muldoon store, I think this might be the better one. The shelves were well stocked and it seemed like they had a wider product availability. It was also very clean inside. Everyone was incredibly friendly. Great visit. The down side was it so helpful I probably doubled what I expected to spend (I found all good things)

I go back the next day to return something, and my rewards program was set up wrong, the receipt was not emailed to me, and the people at the counter made me feel like a thief for not having their receipt. Finally after 30 minutes of sitting at the register with them, they realize the account was set up wrong and was linked to some different number. In addition, they had 50% off sales signs up, but when I got to the register, I guess, even though the whole display was covered in 50% off signs it was only for one specific product in one specific color. A lot of false advertising. I will never return to the store. The employees made me feel like a thief when they're the ones that messed up setting up the account. I did not like the way they treated me or their attitude. This happened 2/18 around 7pm. I highly recommend driving across town and going to Sephora.

I said no, I am just picking up an order. She said great, the pick up counter is all the way in the back. So instead of wandering around I knew where to go. Picking up the order was very easy and quick. On the way out I checked out a few of the soaps and hand sanitizers near the checkout area. It always amazes me just how many different sentences they have, which is great but that brings me to my only thing I don't like about the store. All the sentences mixed together can be a bit overwhelming.

Bath and Body Works located at 800 E Diamond Blvd, Anchorage AK 99515…read more My family and I went into the Bath and Body Works in the Diamond Center mall and the cashier ruined my shopping experience in from of my family. I was searching for the beach chapstick and asked the cashier as she walked past if they had it and she said they didn't have it. I then looked around when I was and located it. During the time I was looking for the beach chapstick I opened the drawer that was directly below where it should have been. I didn't see it so I closed the drawer and located the chapstick directly in front of me was that hiding in plain sight. While checking out with all my items that totaled $75.84 after discounts the cashier asked if I was an employee. I said no and the cashier replied "you are absolutely not allowed to open the drawers." In a rude and condescending tone. I said I'm sorry, I won't do it again and proceed with my checkout. After leaving my family and I were taking about how rude it was for the cashier to act like that especially after not assisting me in locating the Chapstick. The comment "you are absolutely not allowed to open the drawers" stuck with all of us. My husband said we should return the items based on our customer experience and we all agreed. No business should receive a customer's money when the employee is rude. While returning the items my husband informed the same employee that we were returning the items based on her attitude. The employee said she was sorry for the way she acted and my husband said "we are absolutely returning these based on your attitude and the way you treated us." My husband said there are no signs informing customers not to open the drawers where extra items are located. The employee agreed and said you are correct there aren't any signs informing customers. We proceeded with the return and left. This is my last time shopping at bath and body works. Tina Kerr
