Mixed feelings about this one. I recently visited for a couple of vaccinations after making an appointment online. Upon arrival, the employee assisting me was unable to process my insurance for some reason and suggested I call my insurance to sort it out (it was after normal business hours at this point). After I spent 20 or so minutes on the phone with no luck, the employee had no other suggestions for me. Fortunately, the head pharmacist (not sure of the actual job title) noticed I was having an issue and asked another employee to see if he could help. The second employee was much more helpful and resourceful, and called my insurance company for me to see what the issue was (apparently they answer calls from providers after hours!). Unfortunately, based on the info he had, the insurance company couldn't find any record of my policy or existence in general. Finally, the head pharmacist came over to the counter, glanced at the computer screen, hit a few keys, and in five seconds verified my insurance and my appointment. After doing this, he promptly administered my vaccines and I was all set. Although the visit ended well and I received the vaccines, the overall experience was a bit disappointing and ended up taking about 40-45 minutes longer than it should have. Long story short, your experience may vary depending on who is assisting you but if you encounter the right people your visit should go smoothly. read more
