I went during my lunch to pick up my partner's prescription, which had been submitted that morning from urgent care. I gave them his info and she paused, said, "Does he have insurance?" I said no. She said, "Oh, well, since he doesn't have insurance and he's new to this store, we didn't fill it." She told me it would take 30-40 minutes to fill it, which I didn't have. I returned after work. Another woman took his info again, then said she'd get his prescription. I said he had two. She said he had one; the other was an over-the-counter medication. She got the one and I told her he had a GoodRx card. She said, "Yes, we've applied that for extra savings." Since he had sent me an image that looked like he had indeed used it, I believed her. Then I saw the total cost and realized she hadn't. At that point, I was angry about the whole situation, paid the full price and walked out. I will never use this pharmacy again. read more
