Not sure why reviews are so mixed for this location; I had great experiences the last few times…read moreI've been in. This 5 stars is specifically for Vi, who did my makeup for me before my engagement portraits. She did a great job finding more subtle/natural shades since I don't usually wear a ton of makeup. She was also fun to chat with! I let her make the decisions about how heavy to go on makeup, since I knew I'd be slightly uncomfortable with a lot on... but if you're doing portraits, you look much better from far back with professional makeup so your eyes pop, etc. I didn't feel pushed to purchase any products but I ended up spending $150 on them because I love the shades she matched to me, and the liquid blush from the Selena Gomez brand. She also (with very little direction from me, other than "not gloss") picked a beautiful shade of matte lipstick that she said is commonly used for bridal looks. Finally, I noticed Vi and the other makeup artist working next to her paying attention to when people walked in the door and greeting them, which I thought was nice. When I returned the next day to get some eyelash glue (since I wanted to reuse the eyelashes I bought), the line was long so a gentleman who worked there took me aside and checked me out via a mobile app. All in all -- very happy with customer service here.

I barely had to wait before Barbara called me back, which I really appreciated. She asked me lots of questions to get a sense of my goals and was very thorough in answering all of my questions throughout the appointment. I have also been very pleased with my results. Everything was quick and painless and I would definitely recommend the Alexandria location of Radiance Medspa for a clean, comfortable, and easy experience!

The front desk staff and my esthetician were super friendly and helpful. The facial itself felt nice, and I enjoyed the shoulder massage. My esthetician gave some solid skincare tips, though nothing I hadn't really heard before. They also offer blankets in the treatment rooms, which makes the basic setup feels a bit cozier. I was disappointed with the minimal extractions - which was the main reason I went. I still see more clogged pores after the facial. I got the red light therapy for my enhancement. I assumed they would add a little time to the session, but everything was still wrapped up within the 50-minute window. It definitely made me wonder if another part of the facial was cut short (maybe extractions) to fit the light therapy in. Without the promo, this service would have been around $200 with the enhancement. For that price point, I'd probably pay a little more and head elsewhere to get a more "spa-like" experience and more thorough extractions.

Overall, it was a mixed experience. * My esthetician was fantastic--very knowledgeable, gentle, and took the time to explain the products she was using. She seemed fairly new to the industry and although offered me some good advice - it was nothing revolutionary. The facial itself felt good and left my skin feeling refreshed but nothing special * First Impression: The experience started off flat. The receptionist offered little to no enthusiasm when I checked in. It felt very transactional, which is a letdown when you're paying for a wellness/self-care service. * The Room: The main entrance is bright and trendy, but the treatment room felt super basic and didn't match that vibe at all. It was small, sterile, and lacked the cozy, relaxing atmosphere I expected for a $100+ facial. Overall, it was just dark... The Facial: the treatment itself felt very basic for the price point--a good cleanse, mask, and massage, but nothing especially luxurious or advanced that justifies the premium cost compared to other places like HiSkin. Verdict: If you're looking for a full "spa day" experience with great ambiance and warm customer service, your skin might be clean but you might be disappointed.

But the shocker is not her cauliflower personality and style but it's her lack of people skills! Wow stunning terrible communication and customer service skills!! I went for a bold look ( not her jam ) but she took me bc my amazing hair stylist did it and I loved her bold result. She said she'd refer me to someone for my eyeliner. I did 2 treatments and asked for a referral for my eyeliner bold retouch she said she emailed it. I also texted her my results from the first job.... In looking for the recommendation in my email I didn't see it so I texted and waited, then texted and waited, then texted and waited then went back to Instagram where she blocked me I was on time to appointments, I tipped ( even tho she should be all inclusive), nothing negative occurred she shared lots of sweet personal things and as far as I knew all was well. It's not a huge loss to be ghosted but certainly hugely unexpected, unprofessional, and unnecessary! Overall- the point of permanent make up is to look like you're wearing make up! Which is not what she does. She fills in between your eyelashes and put a very light shade on your lips -then I guess ghosts you! A pass for a recommendation.

I am a day late and a dollar short on writing my review. Ash took care of my brows back in March…read more First off, I was SO hesitant about getting my brows done. I hadn't been happy with them for awhile after over plucking when it was still cool to have those barely there lines for eyebrows. I had this one spot that didn't seem to grow back and I COULD ALWAYS SEE IT. Then my friend used Ash and I was intrigued. Not long after I made a consultation and ya'll, this girl is so great. She asked a bunch of questions to 1) get an idea of why exactly I was interested in powder brows 2) get an idea of what I was expecting to get and most importantly 3) ensure I would be safe, if there were any safety concerns, and walk me through the process. I don't have a tattoo, I had no idea about the potential reactions, and she walked me through the healing process and what to expect. During my appointment she was so calm and relaxed that she made ME relax. She talked me through what she was doing. She checked in on me throughout the process. I will say there were a few parts where my eyes were watering, but overall not a problem. Ash even walked me through the differences between cosmetic tattoos and a body tattoo. (No, tattoos aren't as easy) After my appointment I was ANNOYING. For the first week I think I messaged Ash every day asking questions about "is this normal?" or "does this look ok?". She was always extremely kind and patient. She answered all my questions and even encouraged me to ask more. Ash is truly the best. She made the entire process feel comfortable, she has the patience of an angel, and is truly one of the kindest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. I've already recommended her to everyone I know, but now I'm recommending her to you too. Thank you Ash!
