Being in Branson and getting sushi, my expectations were low. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by how AMAZING the sushi quality and taste were. I had the Red Bull Roll (Deep Fried Eel Roll w/ Cream Cheese), Yellowtail Roll, and Philadelphia Roll. The service was absolutely amazing. The waitress was attentive and prompt. The ambiance was great it was dark but not too dark and had a great sushi restaurant feel! I highly recommend eating here!

Sushi was pretty good! I got a California roll. Very nice people though! Nice lighting and tidy area!! Fun place!

I was in town for a convention and was in the mood for sushi. This was a pleasant surprise for a small town in the middle of Missouri. I got two rolls (Caterpillar & Pimp my roll) both were absolutely delicious.

    Jalapeño bombers

Wife and I shared the chicken teriyaki. jalapeño bombers are great. Service was also good. We left stuffed.

Quiet and intimate setting, friendly service, and good food. We had no wait time and the mixed drinks were delicious. Our kiddos liked their teriyaki kids plate. It's a bit pricier than other sushi places but definitely worth it.

Already had got to eat'n it was so good.

Sushi is very good Clean atmosphere and clean restrooms. Service is also good at this restaurant. We come every time we are in town.

This is the best sushi in town. Other restaurants have more "non sushi" option, but Wakyoto is where to go if you want a solid sushi roll.

We had the chicken fried chicken and the meatloaf entrees. Both were served with green beans and mashed potatoes. They offer complimentary bread with three types of butter. We really enjoyed the apple butter! And dessert is not to be missed. We had the apple pie, and it was delicious, and more than enough for the two of us. The dining hall is beautifully adorned with cabin-esque motif and overlooks the campus and mountains. The menu has a great variety and notes items that are made by the students (e.g. butters and cakes). Their complimentary, fresh made bread basket with three types of butters was a fantastic start to the meal. We ordered the mushroom soup, the pork belly sandwich w/ fries, and the shrimp and grits. I will say that the pork belly po' boy was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life! I almost stayed in town longer on the second day just to order it again. The pork belly was smoky, tender, and sweet and paired so well with the grain mustard, pickled onions and arugula -- superb balance of flavors. My husband also noted the shrimp and grits was some of the best he's ever had. The shrimp and pork belly in the dish were perfectly cooked and the Cajun spices were well balanced. And we have to tell you to try their fresh desserts. The brown butter chocolate cake was a special ending to the meal. This is an excellent stop and our student server provided excellent service - they're doing a great job there and is a highly recommended of ours during your stop during your visit to Branson.

Our experience was not at all good and I cannot recommend the place at all. When the server brought our margaritas, flaming with sugar cubes on fire on top of a dried orange; a fly committed suicide on my sugar curbs. The server got me a plate on which to put the orange with dead fly--noting else. The food was cold and my wife's tacos fell apart before she touched them. We order guacamole which came after our lunch and only because we requested it from the delivery person, who did a good job. The server disappeared and I had to go looking for someone to help us pay the bill. As terrible as this experience was, the manager on duty watched the whole event and did nothing, said nothing, and looked sad--not a good customer service perspective. The marketing gentleman who had nothing in the game was the only person who cared; the both of them were good. The restaurant was not!

An egg on there? What? I've never heard of such a thing, but yes please.
