Eagle Eye Roll

Ordered the miso soup, a California roll, and an Eagle eye roll. All were delicious. I definitely recommend the eagle eye roll. Friendly and efficient service.

Great spot in Branson. The offerings are plentiful, the flavors amazing, the staff is attentive. The ambiance is very nice. We heartily recommend this sushi restaurant.

Being in Branson and getting sushi, my expectations were low. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by how AMAZING the sushi quality and taste were. I had the Red Bull Roll (Deep Fried Eel Roll w/ Cream Cheese), Yellowtail Roll, and Philadelphia Roll. The service was absolutely amazing. The waitress was attentive and prompt. The ambiance was great it was dark but not too dark and had a great sushi restaurant feel! I highly recommend eating here!

Sushi was pretty good! I got a California roll. Very nice people though! Nice lighting and tidy area!! Fun place!

I was in town for a convention and was in the mood for sushi. This was a pleasant surprise for a small town in the middle of Missouri. I got two rolls (Caterpillar & Pimp my roll) both were absolutely delicious.

Jalapeño bombers

Wife and I shared the chicken teriyaki. jalapeño bombers are great. Service was also good. We left stuffed.

Quiet and intimate setting, friendly service, and good food. We had no wait time and the mixed drinks were delicious. Our kiddos liked their teriyaki kids plate. It's a bit pricier than other sushi places but definitely worth it.

Already had got to eat'n it was so good.

Sushi is very good Clean atmosphere and clean restrooms. Service is also good at this restaurant. We come every time we are in town.

This is the best sushi in town. Other restaurants have more "non sushi" option, but Wakyoto is where to go if you want a solid sushi roll.

To start off, this place is fair to Midland in other words, mid of quality food. If that some items…read morewere way below subpar. Let's start with the Pho. The broth was great. It tasted like it had been made by hand for hours with hard work and then it stops there. Anything else?Good, I can't find about this place. I've been to quite a few places, and I thought very long and hard about the rating and the food and atmosphere. And how I would give this place a rating, based on my experience and wanted to stay positive. However, some things are just unacceptable. And maybe unnoticeable, by others, or people who are uncultured in the food atmosphere of what they were eating. The edamama we ordered was freezer burnt. You could taste it ! Or had been frozen and thawed, or they were close to beyond being fresh any more. There's even color hues in my photos, to show some parts of it green and some fading with the salt, more on one end of the basket than tossed properly. I had asked the server as it was my first time. What was their number one seller? They couldn't tell me. I followed up by asking okay, I'm very hungry. So what is the most filling? Is there more in a bowl of ramen or more in a bowl of pho etc for portions like lo mein etc If so, which ramen has the most noodles ingredients, et cetera. Response from the employee was they're all the same size. They all have about the same amount of food, not one bowl has more than another bowl. At this education of the menu, I decided to go ahead and order the the spicy ramen option. I also got a regular ramen bowl and asked to order a spicy crab sushi roll and shrimp lo mein. After a little while, the edamame came first of course the soup showed up different types, different bowls, different broths, different amount of food. One was massive amount of food one was a small amount of food, so the portions were not the same by any means. We also got the lo mein which I thought since the menu spelled it wrong. It would be okay, but overly sweet. Overly done noodle soggy mess. My specific ramen was underdone, where I went to bite the noodle off and it still had crunch to it aside from the bean sprouts that were in there, just to give an idea that I am cultured on the food that I was trying to eat and review. I also ordered a spicy crab sushi roll it wasn't a request or question however, the sushi never came and i'm glad, because everything I experienced was horrid, and I can only imagine the worst experience based on what I did get. Overall, my bill before tip was about $86. I feel it was about $56 overpriced. For the quality that I think you could get better making at home. And I've had ramen in other areas. And it didn't taste as poor as this location. If I had given the choice, I would maybe get some pho to go However, this is a business I will choose not to support moving forward for my own personal experience as well. I waited to make my review. My stomach ended up sick and hurting and it's not sensitive. Therefore I do believe there was something off like I tasted. And i'm not willing to risk that for redos to any business. I like to say thank you for the opportunity to try your location, it was not your best service or food or quality given about 6 PM on a Friday night. I should have known better from an empty lot on a friday night.

From the dingy appearance outside to the unkept inside, the initial visual needs a huge makeover. The wallpaper in the restroom (unisex with no urinals) is actually peeling from the walls. I am really afraid of what I might see's if the lighting was any brighter. The menu is sticky from too many hands between cleaning. Your choices on the menu are limited to steak, chicken , shrimp, scallops and filet. The steak is just exactly that... steak. I'm not sure what critter the meat came from or what cut it was. It was red meat however. When cooked (I asked for medium rare) it was a tough, unseared, gray, overdone, piece of inedible meat. Unchewable, unswallowable bad "steak"! Along side my "steak" I ordered chicken. I have had worse chicken but it was because I forgot I was cooking on my grill. It was the driest, crispiest, chicken I've ever attempted to eat. The shrimp (everyone gets 2 shrimp) was actually the best thing on the plate. I should have ordered the shrimp. Oh well, shoulda, coulda, woulda! I was the only person at the table to order steamed rice. It was dry and flavorless. I observed everyone else's fried rice and if the amount left behind was any indication, mine was probably better than theirs. The vegetables were actually good. Well seasoned, thoroughly cooked and tender. Except the broccoli stems. Lots of stems. The lady next to me (remember you are seated at a cooking surface with up to 10 strangers) also ordered the "steak" , medium rare, well seasoned. She attempted to chew hers and actually spit it back onto her plate. Another person down the table ordered the salmon. The "chef" put the salmon on the grill tip first and pulled it last. When he removed it, you could tell it was not going to be a good experience. It was crumbly and black. She said it was "dry". I noticed she only attempted one bite...and spit that out. The cook (enough with the "chef" handle) was certainly not into his job. He did the wall of flame and the egg juggle, the onion volcano and lots of noise but that was it. Few smiles or crowd interaction. I've eaten at many different shoguns around the country from Midland and Odessa to OKC and Tulsa. I've enjoyed my experience or I wouldn't keep going back. I won't go back to this one. I would suggest that if you go, order the shrimp.

There were a few bumps along the way--the soup came out lukewarm, the sweet tea could've used a bit more TEA, and the teriyaki chicken was a tad flavorless. But overall, the food was good, and our chef kept us entertained! Our server was nice and courteous, though she didn't go above and beyond in the friendliness department. I wouldn't say this was the best Hibachi I've had, but it was definitely tasty enough to earn a solid 3.5. I'd be up for giving it another shot!
