Tina was able to help me out this morning (I phoned ahead), by erasing the bad designs I had and evened out my nails. I was out of there in under an hour. Tina was kind and works very efficiently. Instead of creating a welcoming environment, it often feels negative and uncomfortable. It's also disheartening to see so many longtime stylists leave. As a customer, that says a lot about the work environment. What I found especially unprofessional was hearing previous stylists being spoken about negatively. Regardless of what happened behind the scenes, publicly criticizing former employees or discussing their financial situations is inappropriate and reflects poorly on the business. Clients shouldn't be put in the middle of workplace drama. I genuinely hoped this salon would continue to thrive because it once had talented stylists. Sadly, the professionalism and positive atmosphere that originally brought me here seem to be gone. I won't be returning, and I can no longer recommend this salon based on my experience.

She was running late and didn't greet me/ introduce herself. Instead she put me in a dirty station next to her to soak my gel nails off and remove them. That would have been fine except she proceeded to take her time with her friend (?)/ last client. When she was finally ready to help me she started her work without even acknowledging that she was nearly 30 minutes late for our appointment. She began her work and was rather rough with me using the Dremel tool and hurting me. When I expressed that she was hurting me, she did not apologize. She kind of shook her head and mumbled something in another language under her breath. After it happened a couple more times I told her that I never had that trouble with Aaron or anyone else before and I've had my nails done many times. She did not acknowledge what I said. At this point, I was kind of appalled and I just told her that she could just remove my nails, and I didn't want her to replace them to which she said "okay" And then she barely took my nails off and I scrubbed out from underneath them myself at their wash sink.
