Today the turnaround time was different. Very slow process. People who came after me were called ahead of me. (perhaps a different type of X-ray?) The total wait time of around 27 minutes to get called back. The time it took to change and complete the X-rays was less than 13 minutes, so it was very quick once in the back. Wait time on this visit was not the best. I would like this office to normalize e-forms instead of paper and pens. I would also like to see the same tech without having to ask. Besides that, the technicians are always nice and accommodating. My technician Laura did a great job making sure I was comfortable during my X-rays. I appreciated this!

Let's face it, no woman wants to get her boobs squished, but it's necessary and we all have to go through it, so might as well go where they couldn't be nicer, helpful and professional. Receptionist was flat-out fabulous. Warm, friendly, made me feel personally welcome. Identified herself, and guided me through the necessary paperwork quickly and efficiently. Honestly I don't believe I've ever had such a warm receptionist at a medical office! Wait time to go on to the next step was mere minutes. Was shown to a dressing cubicle and given easy-to-follow instructions. Wait time for the actual mammogram was again very short. The procedure itself was the usual, turn this way, lift your arm this way, squish squish, hold your breath and repeat with a different angle. My Professional Gal was just that, guiding me through it as quickly and painlessly as possible. Within a week I had my results. Could not have had a better experience.

Location is conveniently right of Lake Boone Trail near Rex Hospital. Plenty of safe parking spaces in their dedicated lot. I arrived 15 minutes early, was given a medical grade mask instead of the cloth one I wore in. Hand sanitizer available in waiting room. Chairs are somewhat spread out but few people in waiting room. I was called back on time as scheduled and was finished within five minutes! Painless, quick and 3D is a powerful tool for detecting changes in breast tissue. This was the best mammogram experience I've ever had and due to a family history I have has an annual mammogram for the past 30 years. Thank you Wake Radiology I'll be back next November!

First one was a power outage that had happened early in the morning. My appointment was at 3pm. They did't expect to get power back until the next day. When I arrived after almost an hour ride I was greated with " Nobody called to tell you?" No nobody called to tell me or I wouldn't have driven almost an hour to get here and paid for a sitter. The second was at the same location where the radiologist insisted on contrast which I am highly allergic to even though my Dr. had ordered it without contrast. The radiologist refused to do it without contrast. Corporate did call me later that afternoon and apologized. Another two hours of my time wasted including wasted gas and sitter money. The third time was at the new location at 120 Banks Dr. in Chapel Hill. Another hour drive to get there and I arrive and the woman at the desk says " Didn't they call and cancel your appointment?? We don't do that type of imaging here". Altogether I wasted six hours of my time, at least $40 in gas and almost $100 for the sitter.

The staff is awesome and works with you to make your procedure as comfortable and efficient as possible. Be sure to come at least a half hour early to fill out your forms (you can also do this online before your appointment). Then your tech will take you to your dressing room to change (if necessary) and give you a locker and key for your stuff. They'll position you as confortably as possible for your scan, clearly explain everything that will happen, and give you a set of headphones so you can relax to your favorite musical genre as well as drown out the machinery noise. They've got every type of music, from Bach to Rock. This is an especially nice accommodation if you're in pain, nervous or claustrophobic. My injury is to my spine and is extremely painful. Their wonderful pillow is so comfortable that I asked them about buying one! It can be chilly in the room, so you may wish to wear a something warm or bring a blankie with you. (They supplied me with one at my first visit too). They'll do their best to spare you discomfort if you're in pain. Mine is chronic and I can't thank them enough for going this extra mile for me. The waiting room is cheerful, comfortable and equipped with wi-fi and a coffee machine while you or companions await your scan. You'll leave with a CD of your images and they'll forward all your reports to your doc. They'll also email it to if you provide your email addy on your forms. I've had scans at other sites in the Triangle, and got good care at all of them, but the staff here is exceptional and won't make you feel like you're just another body on the conveyer belt of medical procedures. A friend who is extremely claustrophobic prefers to come here because the staff is so patient; he was treated like a nuisance, complete with rolling eyes and heaving sighs, despite explaining that he's a combat vet with severe PTSD, by another local provider. This site is conveniently located on Highway 42 in Clayton, in the health care "shopping center" beside the new hospital. There's lots of available parking and it's easy to find. If you live in Goldsboro, Garner, Clayton or Smithfield it's a fast trip to and from on Hwy 70. If your health care provider is responsive and gives you a choice, request to come here. When scheduling an appointment the receptionist displayed wonderful phone etiquette and the text , email reminders and patient portal enrollment was very helpful. During my first visit there was no wait and Datanya saw me immediately. She reviewed my insurance coverage with me, discussed my weight with me and completed bloodwork without making me feel uncomfortable. Today I returned for test results and Datanya discussed the importance of women's health and following up with screenings for breast, cervical cancer as well as fibroids. Datanya demonstrated how to do a thorough self breast exam which my previous providers had not really spent much time educating me on or performing correctly. We also discussed the benefits of holistic medicine and not relying on an abundance of prescriptions, the importance of a well portioned healthy diet and exercise to avoid prediabetes. Dr Paul did ultrasound guided injections that I instantly heard a loud pop in my neck and rib cage as he injected the medication. WOW I'm so thankful and pleased my primary care practitioners referred me to Raleigh Neurology! It's early days and I have 6 other injections but if my results from my 2 injections procedures go as well I plan to be back in college ASAP upon completing all injections. Dr Paul being a fellow USN veteran has excellent bedside manner, he listens and answers you. He's open to what you have tried and what hasn't worked. Unlike other practitioners he is the only one doing my procedures the continuity of care is not just reassuring its often paramount that Dr knows patient as more than just a medical record since he fully examined he unlike others I had full confidence in his care. My judgment to change drs has been best way to start 2026!

I have a systemic complex medical condition . (autoimmune ) I need a capable dr that can treat my issues. Dr Robottom doesn't fit that bill. Thankfully, I have found drs who listen and understand. I am currently under proper treatment that is helping with the neurological issues I was having. I don't know about any other doctor at this practice- but this dr has left such a "bad taste" that I wouldn't go there again!
