The physicians were good, the rest of the staff leaves something to be desired. After my 1 year old suffered what seemed to be an allergic reaction to peanuts we took him to WF Peds (Our primary care at the time) to draw blood for allergy testing. They drew blood but warned us that they may not have gotten enough. They said they should know the next day of the lab needed more blood. A couple days passed and we never heard anything so we assumed they got enough blood and were running the tests. A week later we call to see if they got the test results back and we are told "We didn't get enough blood". We were told that the lab would know right away if we didnt have enough blood, why did it take us calling a week later to find out instead of someone calling us? So we go to WakeMed to get someone who knows what they're doing to redraw the blood for allergy testing. Told it will take 1-2 weeks for results, and they will send them to Wake Forest Peds. We get a call 2 weeks later saying my son does have a peanut allergy, so we set up an appointment with an allergist. The next day, they call my wife to say "Hey sorry, we didnt get enough blood for testing, we need to redraw". Confused she tells me about the phone call so I call back into Wake Forest Peds, ask if he as an allergy or not since they just told us 2 different things. The nurse I talked to says "yes he does have a peanut allergy". At this point, they have now flip flopped multiple times on whether or not my kid is allergic to peanuts or not so I ask for a physical copy of the test results. I go into the office to pick up the paperwork, which shows there is a peanut allergy. What frustrates me the most is that not a single person took any responsibility and just simply said "Hey, sorry about the miscommunication". After this we decide that were done and so move to a different primary care provider. Our Allergist appointment finally comes up, my wife takes my son and the Allergist tells us, WF Peds never sent his results over. The allergists, calls WF Peds, who set this appointment up for us, and they tell them 1) that they never told us he's allergic to peanuts, and 2) that they can't send them the paperwork because it's against policy. Luckily, I kept the paper copy they gave me and was able to scan it over to the Allergist. Even the Allergist said "I see why you left that place." This place is unorganized and unprofessional. Do not take your kids here. TLDR: Son had allergic reaction to peanuts, was told he didn't have an allergy then told he did have an allergy, WF Peds flip flopped multiple times. read more

Love this place. Dr. E is always great to our child. The process is always seamless, especially when we check in online prior to showing up. Even if we don't they have the tablets to fill out in the lobby. A+ read more

I arrived early to the appointment and expected a wait time however, nothing I got was expected. I sat in the parking lot for a few minutes before I was directed to the covid tent for strep testing for my son. No one had seen my child or looked at his throat or asked me anything outside of covid screening questions and the reason for my visit ( a simple sore throat with no other symptoms ). I questioned the test and was told by the nursing staff it was routine, as a nurse I know good and well that is not standard practice. I questioned why would a test be ordered prior to him being seen. That is not standard. If they would have asked for a covid test i would have understood it a bit more as just your run of the mill "abundance of caution". The nurse argued back an forth with me for a few moments and offered to have us inside the clinic for the test. However that still does not warrant a test with no justification... heck the child could have swallowed glass an had lacerations on his throat but no one looked so no one knew. Standard nursing practice is to ASSESS first. If anyone would have bothered to listen to me instead of having me park our car in a covid testing tent for 10 mins (until i was annoyed enough to call) they would have known Saturday night a tonsil stone was pulled from the child's throat. A tonsil stone the size of a corn kernel in a 8 yr old throat!!! Yeah his throat hurts. ‍ I agree to the test but I was not happy about it. I needed a note clearing the child for school, COVID has turned health care/school systems into a nut house. So I have to comply. About three minutes after calling (13 min wait ) a nurse comes out to swab my child. She walks up to the vehicle and confirmed my sons name. The tells him to lean back so she can swab his nose. I turn around, clearly annoyed an ask, Why are we swabbing his nose? She looks at me annoyed an then her face softens as she realized her error. She says "oh thats right we are doing a step test." "Say ahhhhhh" Im ticked at this point. I go to the front door and wait outside with my child as instructed. We are met at the door within about five minutes. The lady screened my son for a temp took his weight and walked us to a room. While waiting I can hear the occasional comment being made about "someones" attitude. The bustle of work to be done quickly dispersed that conversation thankfully. ‍ Shortly after the doctor comes in. Being clearly agitated I answered the questions in short and the doctor then goes to look at my child throat. ‍ I can't resist so i ask why the test was performed prior to the assessment. She says it's routine for the test to be performed outside now as a caution to the safety of staff/patients. My reply; I understand doing it outside but why was it done at all. She tells me that its based on the screening questions. Outside of what was todays visit for? And ....covid screening questions no one had anything more than a sore throat to go off of with ordering that test. (Just a month or so prior the same thing occurred where my child had a runny nose and sore throat but we were never directed to a tent for testing prior to being examined.) The response was we will look into that. The doctor looks my child over and determines that he is a healthy kid outside of a red irritated throat and slightly swollen lymph nodes (likely from the throat irritation) Im offered to be called with results instead of waiting and I declined due to the need for a note for my sons return to school. The streptococcal test is negative as expected and I walk away irritated with no answer as to why test were being collected prior to assessments and a note clearing my clid for school. Covid has caused the world to loose its mind and throw all good common sense out the window to the wayside. I have been taking my son to the same practice since before he could walk and at this point I don't want to go back. Its a shame. All because If i question something that my insurance has to pay for I am looked at like a three headed monster. This visit was not the kind of care i expected from wake forest pediatrics and I don't know if i will ever return. It could have been a off day or it could be the new "standard" for them. ‍ read more

They made my child get three shots in one day my kids is crying do not recommend so don't take your kids or teen here

I like this practice a lot. All three of our kids go here and use Dr. Weinstein. They are attentive and the after hours service is a huge plus as is the walk in sick hours they offer. read more

I took my 17 month old daughter in today for a sick appt. We had to wait in the waiting room for 25 min and I had to ask the front desk what was going on and my daughter had a very high temperature. The nurse gives a 17 month old Tylenol to drink out of a medicine cup instead of a syringe!!!!! And then when I asked for a syringe she gives me a needle syringe!!!! So basically I tried to give my baby the Tylenol and it just poured out so she got nothing. I'm switching her doctors office today!!!! read more

Selected this office for my daughter shortly after relocating to the area. Three years later, we have been forced to find a new pediatrician after being told that the pediatrician "will not be able to manage my teenage daughter's medication for her social anxiety disorder". Only asked if she could follow and phone in refills after her therapist and behavioral health P.A. prescribed the medication. Little disappointed given how many young teens are battling mental health issues. read more

Awful in every way! Brought my sick daughter in after a cough persisted. The doctor prescribed a strong antibiotic and asked to call 5 days later if it didn't improve. It didn't - we left 3 messages and never received a call back from anyone - nurse or doctor. read more

Our family absolutely loves Wake Forest Peds! I have a 3 year old and a 2 month old and have been going to this practice since my oldest was born. All of the providers are kind and competent. Dr. Ercolino is our primary doctor and he is always so patient!!! He let's me ask all of my questions and thoroughly explains what is going on with my children, as well as the medications that will be administered. He genuinely cares for my kids, like he would his own. He has also been able to correctly diagnose when even the ER could not figure out what was wrong with my oldest. The physicians at Wake Forest Peds have been a tremendous blessing to our family and I thank the Lord for them and their cheerful staff (especially Charmayne, who works at the front)! read more

This is the best pediatric practice in the area. The physicians are compassionate , wonderful with the kids, up to date academically and always looking out for the best interest of your kids. Dr Ercolino, Dr Robinson, Dr Weinstein are top notch. Dr Ercolino is the only male doctor in the practice, and although harder to get into because he's so popular , it's worth the wait. Dr Brandeis and Dr Jain are great also. I recommend them very highly!! read more

I love this Dr.s office. The doctors and staff are friendly, there is usually not a wait and if their is, it isn't long. I feel the Dr.s really like and remember my children. I have a special needs child and they are always considerate of him and his needs when we come in. They have walk-in hours, appoinment times, weekend hours and a nurse line for after-hours which is very convenient. I especially like Dr. Ercolino. He is excellent at listening to parents and working with them when their children are sick. read more
