My son has been seen here since birth so, almost 4 years. Our primary physician here is Dr Wang and…read morehe is awesome, we truly love him. However, for emergency sick visits or when he's out of the office, we have seen almost every other pediatrician that practices here and they are all great as far as we can tell. Our son has autism and although I feel they did not pick up on his symptoms and have him evaluated as soon as he should've been, since diagnosis they have been on their A game and helping us find the right therapists for him. Also he has a serious chronic illness that requires hospitalization often. Our doctor makes it a point to check his Duke records often and calls to check in on us when he sees our son has been hospitalized. Recently, the practice became under Duke's management so, now it is a Duke practice and is linked up with all medical history your child may have at Duke and in turn, if you bring your child to Duke ER or something, they will have immediate access to their medical history at Regional Pediatrics which is really convenient for us. Sometimes the wait can be really ridiculous especially during flu season when they have to fit in a lot of sick visits but they do their best to accommodate everyone. The office staff and nurses are so nice and know our son by name and treat us like family. Great practice all around.

On the fence for this practice. Annual vision exam went well even though some of the equipment…read morestill had makeup transferred from previous users. This wasn't a stain because I wiped it off with a tissue so clearly was missed when the room was cleaned. Everyone was pleasant and they didn't push me to buy glasses from them. Huge plus. My main complaint seems to be a shady practice of not filing the correct insurance. When I arrived they charged me a medical co-pay instead of my vision co-pay. When I questioned it, they said it was a medical appointment even after I told them again I had vision insurance. Yes, I probably should have stopped there, but thought I could call and fix this afterward since I had already taken the time to be there. I called billing immediately after my appointment and was told that the appointment was made as medical. I asked if they could just file it under my vision and was told no because that specific doctor didn't take my vision insurance. What?!? How can you work in a Duke practice and not accept Duke insurance and why do you have doctors who don't accept the insurance you have listed on your website? I checked with my insurance before calling and I even asked when I made the appointment. What I didn't ask was "Does this specific doctor take my insurance?" I didn't realize this was even a question I should ask when I was told the practice accepted my insurance. How is the public supposed to know which doctor to choose? If you choose this practice, please stress to the person making the appointment exactly what your vision insurance is and ask specifically if the doctor they are making your appointment with takes your insurance. Otherwise, you could be stuck paying a higher copay than necessary.

Dr. Jennifer Grady was outstanding , had removal of ear wax. visit was over at 11:35am - Their way ahead on their scheduled patients. Had negative visit with Dr. Oberman his bedside manner was Dr Gregory House without the intellect. (maybe exaggerated) - Kudos to Dr. Jenny/and assistant they're both super. Even the receptionist was outstanding- unlike most of the dei hires you might see around offices. ( guessing on my part) -
