Over the past 10 years I've visited this park sporadically to watch my brothers play soccer games. My most recent visit was such a proud big sis moment as my youngest brother played in the OIA championship game for Kapolei! This stadium has a nice layout and is very well kept. All fields I've visited are maintained with excellence! We arrived early and were able to watch more than one game and we moved around a few times but was still able to see everyone on the field very clearly. Although the bathrooms were out of order due to a water main break, there were portable bathrooms available and about an hour after we arrived the staff fixed the problem right up! Great job to the staff for working through it! The blockades and signage made it easy for us to make our way from the parking lot to the ticket office with no confusion or problems. For this particular event adult tickets were $7 and children $5. The concession stand had hot dogs, saimin, burgers, nachos, candies, etc... available for sale along with drinks including hot cocoa which was nice for such a chilly night. There's one thing I wish that could be changed but probably can't be helped... The one way in and one way out is a pain. Hundreds of cars exiting at the same time with only one lane available just means nothing but traffic. Then were all at the mercy of the traffic light at Kam Hwy by the high school. Slight inconvenience but it's what we do for the love of the games!

Men restroom

I love this soccer complex. The fields are nicely groomed and the restrooms are always clean. It's a family friendly park where you don't have to worry about unwanted guests or unwanted people lingering in the restrooms. The only problem is there's no doors and napkins in the restrooms. I hope this will be fixed soon. Other than that I enjoy when my daughter has soccer games at this park!

Soccer is about to go down.

It's a beautiful public park that is maintained, however, accessibility to public is limited.

Awesome all the way! Plenty of space for game, and it's easy to navigate. Restrooms are in green trailers...way better than Porto-potty :)

We like to park here and bike to Pearl Harbor. Bathrooms are clean and the fields/park areas are well maintained.

Parking is usually good, though this weekend was pretty bad with the college game that was being held in the stadium.

My son has had a hard time figuring out what he wants to do as an extra curricular sport. He's…read moretried flag football, judo, soccer and basketball. He was really enjoying basketball and didn't seem too keen on soccer (and actually hated judo although he was doing it the longest). Enter Nemesis Soccer Academy, founded this past summer (2018) by Ben Villaflor, who was a great soccer player in Hawaii. My son first said he was not interested in playing but decided to give it a shot because he found a pair of soccer shoes that he wanted to buy (and I refused to get it unless he played club soccer). Ben's vision and philosophy might be different than other clubs. The focus at my son's age (8) is on development of the individual player. It is to develop skill at your age and your ability - giving you the tools to grow as an individual. Yes, you are very much part of a team, but you're developing your ability in order to be the most successful you can be when all is said and done. Focus and the goal at this age is not on winning and goals - it is about developing skill, protecting the ball, being aggressive on the ball, ball control, touches on the ball and all the good stuff that comes with it. Yes, they will learn more to the game as the years go on. The boys at this age are given equal opportunity to touch the ball in games, play different positions and learn from each other. I'm shocked by how much skill my son (and really all the kids on his team) have picked up and have been able to use in games, and how much they have grown just in 3 months. Many on the team came from previous club teams so I can't speak to how it differs as my son didn't play club soccer before. But I've seen so much growth, enthusiasm, smiling and great attitudes. The boys are developing friendships, confidence and so much more. In just 3 months, my son went from not wanting to play to someone who will not stop kicking the ball around... the house, the park, I've found the ball in his bed while he's sleeping - it's everywhere. He even wrote a paper in school about soccer! The coaches have been amazing and the parents are equally as amazing too! We're grateful for an opportunity to be a part of this club!

We then received an email closer to the start of the session. When we arrived for the first time, the girls were provided shirts and they got their name tags and got right into it. It's definitely a little harder with younger ones since their attention span isn't always there but they do try to keep them engaged and easier to call them when they have their name tags on. They are separated into three different groups. The beginners, returnees and most likely the better bunch. I don't know how they categorize it but that's just my guess. We attend the ages 5-8 group so I'm not too sure how the older classes work. For an hour and a half session, I feel that the money is worth it! I'd recommend it for anyone looking for an activity for their kids to try it out!

They start with warm-ups then go into skill drills. Safety, spacing, and capacity are not an issue during pandemic time. Parents are allowed to watch as long as you show proof of vaccination and pass a temperature check. Children, coaches, and parents are required to wear a mask. Coaches do allow water and mask breaks (with proper spacing). Coaches are professional and everything is organized. My daughter LOVES coming here and has so much fun. This is our second, 6-week session. I highly recommend!
