I have driven by this park countless times and thinking I want to bring my little one to play here. From far away it looks great. So I finally decided to stop by for some outdoor playtime with my little. I am sure that at some point this was an amazing park for your toddler/kids and it still is if you play tennis or other things. The two stars are because of the playground. It is really heartbreaking to see the condition of this playground. What is even sadder is my toddler saying "sowwy mommy, bwoken" and you are trying to explain that yes it is broken but it is not their fault. The playground is full of grafitti, profanity written on benches, play structure, etc. There is vandalism, broken cracked slide, trash, and exposed metal that has rusted (hope you have your tetanus shots!) throughout. It felt so uncomfortabke having my son play here for fear that he might get hurt since the equipment has not been cared for. Another thing is if you are wanting to sit down, the benches do not offer a good view of the whole play area so you have to really circle around if your little one still cant climb well/etc. It is also reslly hot here and there is no shade except from the little towers of the play structure. Every other part of this park has better maintennance, I just wish this playground had a little tlc and it would be more enjoyable. read more

I love how open the grassy field is! Lots of green patches, and lots of parking - both in the lot and street parking! We came here to try Aloha Mamacita, which is parked outside of the park on the street, and had a little picnic. read more

Location/Parking: This park is located off Kapolei Parkway and is surrounded by the Sun Terra Neighborhood. There is a small parking lot and street parking on the main road. Beware of where you park. I always see police ticket people who park in the no parking areas. Amenities: There is a bathroom, playground, open field for baseball practices, tennis courts and a basket ball court. The condition of the playground could definitely be improved. One of the slides is blocked by a price of wood. There is graffiti on the playground equipment and the playground looks worn out. Parties: I have seen people having parties at this park but I am not sure where you would inquire if your interested in using this facility for a party. Overall, it's a decent large park. It would be awesome if they improved the playground and a nice walking path around the perimeter of the park would be great. read more

PLAY EQUIPMENT BROKEN! Slides are trashed and equipment is falling apart. Graffiti everywhere, even on the damn ground! The play area isn't falling apart due to normal wear and tear, it was literally trashed by someone. Very depressing that this great space for kids to play was messed up by a few losers with nothing better to do. The C&C needs to step up and get it cleaned before someone gets hurt. Pluses: The grounds area is huge and there is a court to play basketball and tons of area to run around. Didn't stay long though, left to another park as my kids were very sad about the play area. read more

The childrens' playground is the main reason I take my kids to the park, that and the fact we live 5 mins down the street! The playground consists of multiple slides, a small bridge, a climbing rock stairs, monkey bars, and climbing bars. There is a major hole at the top portion of one of the slides, which is very dangerous and is sometimes filled in with a orange cone. Other problems include major graffitti, missing pieces of the animal-matching game, and the playground floor being uneven throughout. Recently, the city has closed off the playground with an orange-net barrier, but people have damaged the net to the point where the playground can be utilized by the public. There is a small parking lot and minimal street parking along Kakiuha street. I believe the park closes around 10pm, so you cannot park in the parking lot, despite the gate being open after hours. There is also an open field for football and baseball practices for Saturday games, two tennis courts and also two basketball courts. The conditions of the open field, the basketball, and tennis courts are acceptable. The city trims the grass on time and the open area is clean enough with multiple plastic trash bins throughout both courts. People have been using the area around the parking lot and the bathroom for parties and special occasions! I'm guessing you need permission from the city before conducting any social gatherings or special functions at the park. The first star I deducted was for the condition of the playground and the last star goes to the bathroom. I never expect park bathrooms to ever be in poor condition, no matter where the city park is located. But it also doesn't surprise me at the least, due to the fact that it seems to be the standard across the island. In conclusion, if you want to enjoy Geiger Community Park, watch out for hazards around the childrens' playground and never...EVER...use the park's bathrooms. You'll be wise to heed my advice. My sister suggested that we come here. Pros - Convenient, suburban location - Relatively quiet neighborhood - Seemed pretty safe - Playground with lots of kids - People walking their dogs - Clean and neatly kept - I really liked that there was a group with people with disabilities using the tennis courts :) Cons - Small parking lot - Red ants!! Take my daughters to this park kind of a lot. Kind of disappointed that the play structure is really run down. I think the city needs to change out the structure due to all the graffiti on it (lots of swear words), the slides have holes in it (with sharp parts children can get hurt on), and the turf is lifting or holes in it as well. My children love to come to the park. An upside to this park is there is lots of parking, inside the park as well as street parking. Lots of grassy area for the children to run around on as well as pets, basketball courts, and tennis. A great place for the family to hang out at and have a picnic. Just wish the play area was a little more nicer and kid friendlier. read more

It is located across the street from Ewa Town Center and, is in the Sun Terra Apartment area! This Park is utilized for Various Sports Activities, and Community Events as well! It is an Open Park and there are a few shaded areas around the Perimeter of the Park! This Park is like all the Other Parks in the Area...You have your Restroom Facilities, and Playground for the Kiddos, or Yourself if you wanna let out your "Inner Child" out to Play... =) read more

Located a minute or two away from our house this is actually a nice neighborhood park. Busy on the weekends with basketball games and baseball tournaments parking is a huge problem as the lot is small but street parking is available. Due to the residential area this park doesn't have night lights so going early for a fun day at the park is a must. This park has one restroom located near the parking lot area a few minutes from the baseball feild so get ready for a walk all in all a good place to bring ur family just don't go at night as the crowd that comes around are questionable but HPD does pay a visit now and again. read more

We take my son here since it's close to home. It's nice. The playground is usually empty so my little guy can play without being interrupted by the older kids (like he does at McDonalds). They have a few tennis courts, a volleyball court, and a basketball court. They also have a baseball field, an open field and a bathroom (although I have not ventured into it yet). One of the larger slides has been broken for quite some time now and so have some of the other parts of the play areas but its okay for now as there are other places for the kids to play. read more

This review is for the play ground area only. It's so sad that they have not broken down the play ground and made a new one. One of the slides have been broken for almost 2 years. The entire jungle gym is rusted and covered in graffiti. It's actually looks rundown. Seeing as this park is usually busy on weekends with sports why haven't they fixed anything? It's a 5 minute walk from my house but I rather drive to a better park for my kids. read more

This park is walking distance from my home and my daughter loves to come here, however the playground could use some upgrades, nothing fancy, maybe just patch up the huge hole in the middle of the slide. They do have a huge field tons of space, it really is a nice, huge park, just needs some tlc. read more

I love this park! It makes me wish (a little) that I lived in Ewa! I drove from Mililani twice so my kids could play at this park. This park is so much better then the parks that they have in Mililani. It's huge and it is VERY little kid friendly! At some parks you have to stand and kinda follow your kids around the playground, but this park has benches around the playground so the parents can sit down and take a small break :) There are also basketball and tennis courts, and a huge field! I've always enjoyed Geiger park. One of my closest friends in high school lived in Ewa so whenever we were at her house, we'd walk over to Geiger park. It used to just be a big field with a small playground area but now they have basketball courts and a baseball field. There's street parking and a small parking lot with lots of trees for shade. Not much shade in the actual park area and Ewa can get brutally hot, so be warned! read more

Broken glass, bottle caps and cigarette butts everywhere. Always people smoking marijuana and drinking beer in the parking lot mid day. The playground is always littered with fast food and take out containers. I have a 15 month old and I have to watch him like a hawk so he doesn't pick any trash up. He fell in the grass and cut his hand wide open on who knows what. Very sad to see people litter like this where children come to play. read more

Close to our home, and with a playground, this is a nice little park for the kids. Our boys will soon be playing baseball here, so I think we spending lots of time here. The parking lot is quite tiny for a park this size, and the police were ticketing illegally parked cars there the Saturday morning I recently went. There are little league games going on in all 4 corners of the park on Saturdays, and there is an OK playground for kids to get their yayas out on. read more

This park does have quite a few things here, just not in its best condition. There are basketball and tennis courts, nets are run-down though. There is a baseball diamond, but not well-maintained. There isn't enough benches and tables in my opinion, but the park isn't too big to begin with. There are a number of tress but located as a border around the park. The park could use more shade, it does get scorching hot in Ewa. I do like how there's parking available no matter what time of day it is, and the bathrooms are actually pretty clean, just no paper towels to dry your hands. There are also manapua trucks parked near by or the shopping center is just around the corner, close enough for you to walk, if you wanted to grab food to eat at the park. Location is pretty safe as well. read more

I just moved to Ewa and this park is so close to home we decided to take our son there. I'm only rating the kids portion of the playground because we didn't enter the baseball or recreation side. It is a great location, but the kids playground is in horrible condition. We went last week and saw graffiti all over it, and a slide was completely broken and corroded. Although they had yellow caution tape covering the entry to it, I feel it's super dangerous because kids can still get into it and hurt themselves. They should definitely look into repairing it. read more

This park is probably the best park to bring your child to in the Ewa area. Its clean and very spacious. They have a playground which consists of the usual monkey bars, 3 different slides, a bridge, and a rock climb (which is actually made out of plastic). They also have a more toddler kind of playground which has its own miniature slides and a short quick how-to-do sign language. Since we live only about 5 minutes away, its the most convient park for us to go to. They have their own little designated place for parking but it can get full if they have baseball practice or some kind of activity going on here. But street parking is available. I dont really know how clean the bathrooms are which is why I didnt give the full five stars. read more

Attended a termite football game here. Great park in the middle of a bustling city. Small parking lot but tons of street parking. Bathroom looked clean but didn't have to use it. There's a basketball court and a playground. Wide open field but bring an umbrella, it's hot! read more
