Such a great, little side trip down the road from Poipu. The flavors are amazing and all natural. Highly recommend the calamansi and coconut combo. I've put this as my top shave ice of the trip to Kauai. Plus there's a sweet little shopping area adjacent to the truck with very local gifts, clothing and artwork.

Beautiful shave ice with guava, passionfruit, and a coconut cream topping!

As a family, we are always curating and adding to our favorite foods lists and one of them is the best shave ice places in Hawaii. Waikomo makes the list for sure. They serve a very delicious version with natural ingredients creating a unique flavor profile. It veers on the healthy side of shave ice desserts. We shared a guava and passion fruit with a coconut cream topping with fresh bits of fruit (pineapple pieces). We added the option of Mac nut ice cream which made it extra delicious. Service was friendly and speedy despite the line. And the tables in the jungle setting was super unique. Would go again and highly recommend!

Having 4 of the shaved ice spots thus far on the trip, Waikomo shave ice takes the crown! (I wil update if anything changes in the next three days . Located in front of the warehouse shopping center. Ordered mango and calamansi (contrasting flavors ). With Mac nut ice cream of course. Condensed milk and toppings Syrup flavors tasted like real fruit and delicious. Neither overly sweet , nor artificial sweeteners. Definitely a winner . Highly recommend it

Chose the calamansi and mango flavors--delicious, refreshing, and didn't leave me feeling heavy or sugared out. Friendly service and plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your treat. Family-friendly spot with nearby shops to explore. Just a heads-up: there's an extra charge if you pay with a credit card.

Must stop here!!! As someone who generally isn't into shave ice because of the sugary, dye-heavy syrups, I sought this place out for the natural flavors and they did not disappoint. Heavy on the fresh fruit flavors without being sickly sweet. We especially loved the coconut cream and fruit topping. 10/10! Don't miss the cute shops in the Warehouse while you're there. I found the cutest t-shirt at The Local Beet

Absolutely stellar work out of this little truck. If you sold this on the street in New York, it would be $25 a cone and the line would be down the block. Every syrup tasted like fresh fruit with a perfect mix of sweet and tart. It's worth the money; it's worth the drive; it's worth dining in a parking lot. Go here!

After finishing my vacation in Kauai, this is where you get your shaved ice. I had shaved ice almost every night while in Kauai, and I not just ordered one shaved ice, but I got a second one after the first one, which was so good. You get a max of two topping flavors, and the price was reasonable (~$9). The syrup they used was a lot less sugary than other places I have tried, and upon reading their website, they used cane sugar instead of fructose for the sweetening. The home coconut sauce with some honey on the top made the flavors more in-depth. The service was super quick, and the ambiance was nice, as there was a lot of outdoor seating. Hands down, I would go to this again. I will also drive across the island to get this shaved ice.

Dynamite! Every island has a special shave ice located on it and I believe this is kuaui's! A sweet lady runs this out of a food truck and it may not be fast but it is definitely worth the wait!! All of the shave ice are topped with a coconut cream, honey and fresh fruit! The flavors were soooo good!! No bare ice anywhere!

First experience with shave ice that wasn't just overly sweet synthetic flavors and it was great! They make their own syrups and top with small pineapple chunks. The perfect post-hike treat. Getting an ice cream scoop in the bottom is a must! Highly recommend and would return if ever back on Kauai!

I have waited my whole life to get shave ice because it didn't look appetizing until my uncle introduced me to these guys. They make all their own syrups and the flavors are incredible. I could have cried. The ice cream core and the little straw to slurp up all the melted bits together made my life.

Located by the warehouse shopping center, this adorable place has a great outdoor seating in the back. I had my sights set on trying the LocoCoco bowl, and they recommended the popular mango-strawberry flavor. It turned out to be the most delicious shave ice I've ever had! The flavors were incredibly rich, and the bowl contained real fruit pieces. I loved that I I could take the coco bowl and wooden spoon home as a souvenir. The service is amazing and they offered to rinse of the bowl and spoon so we can take them with us I can't wait to return when I'm in Kauai again

Best shave ice on the island! & it's situated next to some cutesy shops & and a micro bar and grill that are worth checking out as well. The flavors are all natural and not overly sweet. The coconut cream, honey, and fresh fruit topping make this shave ice special. It's the perfect refreshing treat. My favorite combo was the mango & passion fruit. The calamansi was quite tart and can be overpowering if combining with another flavor but still good nonetheless. The guava was also nice. Honestly, you can't go wrong. Highly recommend!

Best shave ice I've had. Coconut cream, honey, and fruit come on top of each order if desired, which enhances the flavor profile.

The milkshake was blended to perfection, tasting like banana heaven with subtle notes of nuttiness. I truly enjoyed it. The inside of the shop was vibrant and colorful. In addition to the treats offered at the counter, there were plenty of products available for purchase, such as pancake mix, coconut syrup, coffee, cookies, nuts, and more. There were two employees assisting all of the guests. There was a bit of a wait; however, they kept the line moving fairly quickly and maintained a pleasant disposition while serving customers. All in all, I highly recommend stopping by Mango's for delectable sweet treats while exploring Kōloa.

(Desserted 04/25/26 SA @ 5:30pm): You had me at Mango's!…read more After an afternoon of drinking and eating at two local breweries, before I headed back to the resort where I was staying, I walked around in search for shave ice and came across Mango's. If you knew me, I loved all-things mangos, so this was a no-brainer to check it out. A family-owned business that opened in 2022, they served shave ice, ice cream, homemade desserts, Dole Whip, and fun souvenirs. How would my shave ice experience be, and did they have mango flavor!? PURCHASE(S) Small Shave Ice Mango & Watermelon + Additional Flavor Coconut ($8.95 + $0.75): A decent portion size, this was as fluffy as you would come to expect from any shave ice purchased on any of the Hawaiian Islands (the fluffier the better, please!). The three tropical flavors I selected paired perfectly. Not overly sweet, they each had their own distinct taste. As I rapidly tried to eat this frozen treat so it wouldn't melt and make a mess, I wished it came with a funnel skirt or platform to catch everything (Matsumoto had something to this effect which was a wonderful idea). Regardless, with brief bouts of brain-freeze, this was a nice way to end my day in Old Koloa Town. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=144&select=AGCmC1dKOuMUr2QlwEY0kg Cinnamon Toast Cake Slice ($5.95): This simply looked amazing as it sat in the display case, so I had to take one for later. Once I got into it the next morning for breakfast, it was still fluffy, light, and moist with all of the goodness of cinnamon toast crunch cereal, and the creamy thick layer of frosting was truly the icing on the cake. I wished I had another for later! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=AhMBmjk9xwxIcLxzWMrihg SERVICE Warmly greeted by two friendly young women behind the counter, I was able to browse the menu while they helped the group ahead of me. Once it was my turn, I knew what I wanted, easily placed my order, I soothingly watched one of them craft my shave ice while the other packaged my cake and rang me up. Minutes later, I was at an outside table with my prized possession - easy-peasy! PARKING (Varied; N/A this instance): I took the bus, so this wasn't an issue for me. Otherwise, there appeared to be some onsite parking with spots along the main drag of Koloa Rd. and other side streets - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A brightly-painted interior that bursted with the sense of a candy store but actually an ice cream parlor, a dessert shop, and random plushies and toys was what you walked into. Simple easily legible menus of the types of treats, flavors, and prices were hung on the wall behind the counter https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=144&select=X93KwvmR6ASMbyyYSSJJTw while several racks throughout displayed other anthemic local souvenirs. A decent amount of natural lighting came in through the front doors and windows while an assortment of electric recessed and track ceiling lights filled in the rest. There weren't any TVs, but pop music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=144&select=1ZNTy-MJlQQvT5uUy6BwMw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I enjoyed my time and treats at Mango's and would consider another return if I were in the area and wanted a dessert. The menu options and flavors were very limited, the prices a bit elevated (except for the cake), and the service was easy and straightforward. Plus, I always loved to try and support small local mom & pop businesses. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $16.00 BEFORE any discounts, points usage, and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS
