What I loved even more than the clean store and bathing area was the friendly staff! As soon as I walked in I was greeted and my pup was showered with love and treats. Another cool thing about Tails Spin is the frequent bather club and punch card for Blue Buffalo dog food! They recommended a food which I bought a small bag of to try and after bringing it home to further research, it is a great brand. We'll see how my dogs do on it! Our dog loves the bones and certain treats. The staff are always friendly. If you have any questions they are happy to help. Also they are incredibly knowledgeable about what is on the shelves. The manager at the time told me " all this for a cat seems like a waste." A few months later I went back in to stock back up and when I shared my excitement about my pet and his updated name - the cashier sneered and said " the old name was better." I think the final straw for me was when I inquired about where the Pooler Paws in-store adoption area had gone. I was told that they got rid of it because "nobody liked cleaning the cat boxes" and they were worried that the store would "stink". To me, that is a huge red flag that the people who work at this store don't really care about animals and they're just doing it for a job. All things considered, I usually only stop here when I'm really desperate for an item that is out of stock at the Habersham store. It's not the worst place that you could spend your money, but also, I think it leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to common courtesy and the warmth that you would expect from a company working with pets.
