They do a great job of making sure the dog parents know what the exercises are and give tips on how to help coax the dog along when they are just learning things. What I also appreciate is Tracie does a great job of listening to what you want to accomplish with your dog and helping you get in the right classes - without trying to oversell anything. When I picked them up they both had massive skin infections and double eye infections. See photos. They were acting weird when when I picked them up and when I took them to the dog wash (because they failed to bathe them like I requested) I noticed the trauma. They were not acting right. They would not eat or play for almost a week afterwards. Boarding is stressful enough on dogs but they definitely experienced some trauma. Bottom line if you are looking for a safe place to ensure the well being of your dog when you are gone this is not the place. Price for two dogs for 2 weeks $600 and an additional $400+ to have your dogs treated by a vet after. Side note: they insist you pay for all your boarding fees before you even drop them off! They get all there money up front! As others have said Kim is very rude and condescending.

We received weekly tips on how to practice what we all learned, and the training process moved at an appropriate pace for the development of our dog. When we hit a little snag in leash training, Lauren came up with several ideas to differentiate the way that we trained Andi on a leash. While she told us that these new ideas would not be "magic," one solution clicked instantly with Andi and she was a new dog on a leash. We had her come over for $100, and it turned out to be a nightmare. She came when my puppy woke up--instead of letting me take the puppy to potty, she insisted playing with him until he peed/pooped at the wrong spot. Then she stopped me to pick up the poo, put a treat right next to his poo, and our puppy for the FIRST time ate a piece of poo, because the treat was placed right next to it. Words can't describe how bad the whole 20-minute session was. Her attitude was unprofessional and very condescending, treating us as if we are ignorant people. She kept saying "poor puppy" as if we are abusing him. The worst of the worst: when I cleaned the mess, she said to me "good job"--who does that? My husband and I were utterly shocked. Before she left, she insisted putting a dirty empty water bottle in the playpen to let the puppy chew, while our puppy has various good quality dog toys. I foster australian shepherds and had a 'problem child' with stranger danger. He was a handful and…read morealways in protective mode, nipped at people, and charged my husband 4 times. With us, he eventually bonded but not with our adult children. We, through the rescue, reached out to Emily Beddard. She had him for 3 months. During that time, my husband decided he wanted to keep him and just manage the behavior. When the dog was 'ready', Emily contacted us and we drove down to pick him up. He is a changed dog - no longer immediately aggressive, still requires an introduction but has accepted everyone we have introduced, and is a total lovebug with them. The big test was over the holidays and he passed with flying colors. I credit Emily and her team as they provided him with training, but just as importantly heavy socialization and an opportunity to feel safe. When we picked him up, you could see how they loved him. They were also terrific about periodically sending pictures - I could see how happy he was in their care. He continues to be a happy, relaxed dog and we have maintained the introduction protocol that Emily taught us.

Pooler GA PetSmart…read more....... This has to be the most incompetent staff EVER in the history of PetSmart. I took my dog there for a simple cut and bath, mind you he is an older dog. After two hours, I get a call from a trainee who stated that she has trimmed my dog's torso, but is unable to trim his face and tail because he won't stand up on four legs. She stated that my dog was sitting on his hind legs. I asked her what does that have to do with you trimming his face and crown. She stated that my dog also had a slight head tilt and it's going to take longer and that she had another dog to groom. I asked for the manager, so she put her RUDE manager on the phone. I asked him if he could have another Groomer do my dogs face because his trainee said she felt uncomfortable because of the way my dog was acting and not standing up. Kept citing safety concerns...... I pleaded again with the manager to let one of his other groomers just finish my dogs face and crown because I had no other option and I was going on vacation the next day. He rudely said " I told you that I didn't have anybody , so you need to come and pick your dog up"!!! I hung up and rushed to get my dog. When I arrived, my dog looks for fine and not sluggish. He was walking around on all fours no head tilt in sight.. I asked the manager can you please put my dog back on the table, so that I can see what you were talking about with the head tilt and him refusing to get up. He refused to do that and then another big mouth only other male employee Groomer started running his mouth saying they won't touch him again. I said you're all a bunch of lazy ARSES and exited the building. I see why they have all these one star and two star reviews because they are all nothing but a bunch of lazy employees who do bad work and should not be allowed to touch another dog ever again!! I took him to a reputable groomer "Wolf Gang" and he did just fine with them. I normally take my dog to Wolf Gang in Pooler, but they were booked for that day!!
