We love zoom room! The people here love dogs and really want to help us people understand our dogs better. Wulfie loves coming to zoom room and has learned so much. He started at 8weeks old and has gone from puppy Play school to obedience 3. He also loves his agility classes. Highly recommended!

I wish I had taken the one star Google review that said she's crazy more seriously. That reviewer…read moremust be a very nice person, because to say she's crazy is definitely an understatement. We had her come over for $100, and it turned out to be a nightmare. She came when my puppy woke up--instead of letting me take the puppy to potty, she insisted playing with him until he peed/pooped at the wrong spot. Then she stopped me to pick up the poo, put a treat right next to his poo, and our puppy for the FIRST time ate a piece of poo, because the treat was placed right next to it. Words can't describe how bad the whole 20-minute session was. Her attitude was unprofessional and very condescending, treating us as if we are ignorant people. She kept saying "poor puppy" as if we are abusing him. The worst of the worst: when I cleaned the mess, she said to me "good job"--who does that? My husband and I were utterly shocked. Before she left, she insisted putting a dirty empty water bottle in the playpen to let the puppy chew, while our puppy has various good quality dog toys. We love our puppy dearly, which is exactly why we've been trying different configurations of his playpen and wanted to start training early. But it's the biggest mistake to have used this service. First time and definitely last time.

Horrible person, was very disrespectful to my wife. Her so called "professional" advice was to just…read morelet the dog run wild and let him pee wherever he wants. Not worth $100.....not even worth a $1.

I have been going to BARKS about four years. My little girl is somewhat an introvert but I trust…read morethem with her. Had my little girl there for boarding and daycare. Both have been great. Thank you!

The Good - Our dog seems to enjoy going to Barks and always comes back 100% exhausted (assumingly…read morebecause he has so much fun). We have had generally positive interactions with the staff and the facility seems fairly nice from what we can see. The cage-less atmosphere is a big plus for us. The Bad- You're almost guaranteed to have to pay additional fees for boarding (for those with traditional work or vacation trip schedules). For boarding you can't do a morning check-in or an afternoon/evening check-out without paying an extra $15 fee for each on top of the $50 per night fee. You can't pick your dog up on Sundays at all unless you make pre-arrangements and pay another $15 fee. The Ugly- We felt pretty scammed on our last boarding. We dropped him off Friday for a 1-night stay and were told we could pick him up anytime before 7pm the next day (the front desk girl even said "Saturday? Anytime before 7"). But we received a call at 6:15pm the next day asking when we were coming to pick up our dog because they were closing (they told us the girl at the front desk made a mistake and they don't stay open until 7pm on Saturdays). We said we were 15 minutes away, our GPS said we would be there at 6:30pm. They said they were sorry about the mistake, but that was too long to wait and we would have to pick him up the next morning. We weren't thrilled, but mistakes happen, ok. First thing the next morning we went to pick them up and the front desk girl (the one who had said 7pm) was very apologetic, but then CHARGED us both for the 2nd night we didn't want AND a Sunday pickup fee. Blown away, I asked "are you really charging us for the 2nd night?". She called what I assume was the manager and they took off the Sunday pickup fee but still charged us the extra $50 for the extra night. Might be a little over-dramatic, but it really felt like they held our doggo hostage and then demanded ransom to get him back. We paid it, but we really lost our trust in Barks with this. We'll probably try to avoid Barks in the future if we can. The ???- every time we pick our pup up from boarding, he drinks a comical amount of water. It's probably because he's too busy running around with the other dogs to drink, but we do hope they have water bowls out for the dogs at all times.

He's has never been one to be overtly affectionate. It's Beau's world and my husband and I are just living in it. My husband and I discussed many different routes and decided that with Beau's age, breed, and our schedules it would be best if we sent him to someone who would be able to give him the focus and attention, he needed to kick start in his training. Recall was really our number one goal for him. Spending 45 minutes on any given day to try and coax him back into the house, as you can imagine, gets old quick. If he doesn't wanna, he's not gonna. Enter Lynsey. Her love for dogs is obvious, just like her skills in training. Since Day 1, well before his stay, she was there providing guidance on how we could be better leaders/parents for our Fur Baby and this new lifestyle. Fun Fact: you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! It's been a week since we got our sweet boy back and we couldn't be happier! Beau is thriving with the new structure and overall seems to be a happier dog. He even seeks out love and cuddles from us now! We know that Beaus training isn't over. This is something that we will have to work on with him to make sure he's held accountable for his actions but it's nice to know that Lynsey will be there to help us/him along when/if we need her. Thank you will never be enough for the confidence she helped Beau gain not to mention the confidence she gave US to continue his training. Lynsey, thank you for taking in our boy and loving him through all his sassiness. We are forever grateful for your work with him and us. 10/10 would recommend Sunshine K9 Training!
