Bentley's is the place to go for your fur babies! You will find everything you need there. I love the wide variety of food Bentley's carries. The price range varies, there is something for everyone. One of my favorite brands they carry is Fromm. There are many treats, toys, items for health, and so much more. Our dog loves the bones and certain treats. The staff are always friendly. If you have any questions they are happy to help. Also they are incredibly knowledgeable about what is on the shelves. They can give suggestions to you. I am always conflicted about shopping at Bentley's. On one hand, they carry good quality products ( Ziwi Peak, Fromm, etc ) and the prices are decent for a smaller pet store but I have had some unpleasant experiences with staff that always make me hesitant to return: After I adopted a cat from Pooler Paws via Bentley's in store adoption area, I spent several hundred dollars buying food, cat beds and toys. The manager at the time told me " all this for a cat seems like a waste." A few months later I went back in to stock back up and when I shared my excitement about my pet and his updated name - the cashier sneered and said " the old name was better." I think the final straw for me was when I inquired about where the Pooler Paws in-store adoption area had gone. I was told that they got rid of it because "nobody liked cleaning the cat boxes" and they were worried that the store would "stink". To me, that is a huge red flag that the people who work at this store don't really care about animals and they're just doing it for a job. All things considered, I usually only stop here when I'm really desperate for an item that is out of stock at the Habersham store. It's not the worst place that you could spend your money, but also, I think it leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to common courtesy and the warmth that you would expect from a company working with pets. read more

I brought my Min Pin Mai Tai in today for a nail trim, they do $10 nails from 4-6 every Thursday! Such a great deal. The staff was nothing short of amazing with Mai Tai. I've been looking to change her food and was overwhelmed trying to research online without finding articles sponsored by one brand or another, but the ladies at Bentlys were so knowledgeable and patient. I only wish we started going there sooner! read more

Bentley's is the best ! And what makes it best is their fantastic staff! We've been going to Bentley's since 2018 when we adopted our dog. Sam was the store manager then (now she's a regional manager ) is amazing and so are the rest of the crew! Everyone is very knowledgeable and provide great advice on nutrition . ~~ Brands / Products ~~ They carry a large variety of the high quality brands and raw food. My dog has sensitivities and we got great advice from the ladies about specific brands and one of them worked great! They also have lots of treats, toys and supplements such as omega 3/6/9 oils etc . This store also has enclosed dog bathing stations . The bathing stations are always very clean with hot and cold water supply as well as plenty of high quality shampoos, conditioners, brushes, aprons and fresh towels available. The dryer is really good too! We always take our dog for his baths there. ~~Service & Ambience~~ The ladies manning the store are absolutely fantastic! You are always greeted with a cheerful welcome as you walk in. They are very friendly , attentive and helpful. They genuinely love your pet and go the extra mile to make sure you get the right product. The store isn't large but sparkling clean and the items are cleverly arranged so there's enough room to walk around with your pets. The bathing stations are in the back room with a glass viewing area. ~~ Location & Parking ~~ The Bentley's is located next to Publix and shares the parking lot. There's plenty of parking available on any day. Due to the uncertain times of social distancing that we're going through, the store has now updated some of their regular services so that they can be there for your pups. They now offer curbside service so you can call ahead and get the items without leaving your car. Should you need to enter the store, they request folks to limit to 3 people in the store at once. Overall they're here as an essential service to the community and we appreciate them! I highly recommend Bentley's for all your pet needs ! read more

BEWARE: RUDE STAFF. INEXCUSABLE MANAGEMENT. Came here 2x to use the self-service grooming service, and won't ever again. First time, the grooming room was just okay, but the second time, it was terrible. Floors was dirty both visits in general, but the first time, a polite staffer at least took the time to at least vacuum the floor of a preponderance of fur, whereas the second time, a completely different staffer, a buzz-cut, completely surly, not-my-job nasty excuse of a person, was almost unresponsive when asked for towels (why should you have to ask, you're obviously there to groom the dog) when she hadn't pointed out where we'd get them if needed, didn't vacuum and mop the floor (it was concrete slick with water and COVERED in fur) and blamed it on the fact that they had been busy with their since before Christmas (um, it was January 9?) and their groomer had just been there but was gone, and they only do a deep clean once a week, and other lame excuses. A deep clean only once a week? And you admit it? Okay, that's really the only disgusting fact I need to know. Once we started to attempt to dry the dogs, fur started flying, just like one of those grab-all-you-can money machines, and I am NOT exaggerating. I inhaled it. I asked her to come vacuum the room so that we could continue drying. She sneered, walked in, turned on a very lame wet/dry vac with virtually no suction, and literally made 4-5 weak swipes just pushing the fur around. Then she shut off the vacuum and threw her hands up, saying "that's it." What lovely manners. I called to report this to the manager, but all she had was interruptions and excuses for her staff's refusal to do their job. She didn't apologize at any point, and was anxious to get her own points in, because she could obviously _not_ be wrong and apparently had more important business than customer service. So very easy to see where the attitude here originates, and her well-honed experience in deflection, over-talking and simply not caring about unhappy customers belies her having to do it regularly. Top that off with some of the area's most outrageously high-priced food and pet merchandise. This is a sad place! Don't subject your dog (or yourself) to it. read more

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I was able to get a grooming appointment for my dog very fast. He looked amazing and smelled amazing! I'll be shopping and returning here for my pet in the future. read more

I absolutely love the staff. Every time I've been in or had questions they are always cheerful and eager to help out with whatever I need help with. I have a 4 month old Lab so she is big. Other places won't nail grind because she is not use to it but the groomer here is great I took my puppy here for her first nail grind she's a dramatic pup but we are working on training her with grooming. I took her to get groomed somewhere else. They did not grind her nails because she's a energetic puppy who wasn't wanting to be still on the very tall dog table. So I took my pup right up to Bentleys and they had her done in 5 minutes and her nails were perfect. After that experience with the other groomers we used I now only take her to Bentleys. read more

The last two visits were amazing, but today my visit was completely uncomfortable. I walked in around 4:50pm looking to purchase grooming scissors and something for my pups tear stains. I'm not sure who the blonde is with glasses. But she is so rude. I work in luxury retail so I am completely aware of what great customer service is suppose to feel like. I felt uncomfortable and so unwelcomed. When I asked for a recommendation for tear stains, she rudely says it's because of the food that my pup is eating. But I find this crazy because I changed my pups food to a product that was recommended by THEM that THEY SALE. I don't think I will ever do business at this location again. It's really unfortunate because a lot of the products that I research to give my puppy a long lasting life is carried by this location and the commute is less than 5 minutes for me. I am extremely disappointed. read more
