They say it's to keep the spread of fleas and illnesses down but I'm sending the dog who would really be the one to spread those things if he's got them. Love the video access they offer and the staff is great but the price is just too much for 2 dogs.

The doctors, technicians, and staff were always professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely caring. They never made us feel rushed and always took the time to answer questions and explain treatment options. A few weeks ago, we faced the heartbreaking reality of saying goodbye to Tango. The team at Godley Station helped guide us through one of the most painful experiences a pet owner can endure with compassion, dignity, and kindness. We've had to bring our dog here a few times after moving to Savannah. They are very helpful and offer military discount. They carry the food he requires also, which is a plus. The hours are my only complaint, I'm sure they have a reason for it but coming from an old animal hospital that opened from 8-8pm the hours here are hard to get used to. I've had issues with my dog after 5 and have had to wait until the next morning for answers. Final Verdict: we do continue to use them as they get the job done.

Pooler GA PetSmart…read more....... This has to be the most incompetent staff EVER in the history of PetSmart. I took my dog there for a simple cut and bath, mind you he is an older dog. After two hours, I get a call from a trainee who stated that she has trimmed my dog's torso, but is unable to trim his face and tail because he won't stand up on four legs. She stated that my dog was sitting on his hind legs. I asked her what does that have to do with you trimming his face and crown. She stated that my dog also had a slight head tilt and it's going to take longer and that she had another dog to groom. I asked for the manager, so she put her RUDE manager on the phone. I asked him if he could have another Groomer do my dogs face because his trainee said she felt uncomfortable because of the way my dog was acting and not standing up. Kept citing safety concerns...... I pleaded again with the manager to let one of his other groomers just finish my dogs face and crown because I had no other option and I was going on vacation the next day. He rudely said " I told you that I didn't have anybody , so you need to come and pick your dog up"!!! I hung up and rushed to get my dog. When I arrived, my dog looks for fine and not sluggish. He was walking around on all fours no head tilt in sight.. I asked the manager can you please put my dog back on the table, so that I can see what you were talking about with the head tilt and him refusing to get up. He refused to do that and then another big mouth only other male employee Groomer started running his mouth saying they won't touch him again. I said you're all a bunch of lazy ARSES and exited the building. I see why they have all these one star and two star reviews because they are all nothing but a bunch of lazy employees who do bad work and should not be allowed to touch another dog ever again!! I took him to a reputable groomer "Wolf Gang" and he did just fine with them. I normally take my dog to Wolf Gang in Pooler, but they were booked for that day!!

However, it is double the cost of our previous kennel. We went on a short trip to Charleston SC using our Bluegreen Points. Our lodging on Bay Street was less expensive than our little dog's. Let me start with the positives: The overnight dogs are mixed with the doggie day care dogs for socialization. The kennel required a 2 hour temperament check prior to acceptance of the reservation. Our little guy loved it. The small dogs are separated from the big dogs. The medium sized dogs go in either group depending on personality. The groups rotate between inside and outside space and their kennel. Kennels are extremely clean with a little cot. Dog poop and urine are immediately taken car of. Total areas are sanitized 3 times a day. Employees are knowledgeable and nurturing. There are video cams and you are given an access code to watch your dog's group. They don't currently have a groomer but the groom shop was clean and they are pursuing a new groomer. Very kind and loving environment. Negatives: Cost, $$$$. The price was $41/day. It may be more for a larger dog, I'm not sure about that. On top of that there is a $10 charge if you drop off before 12:00 pm. There is another $10 charge if you pick up After 12:00 pm. That can be $51 for your first and last day. It is that extra $10 fee that I have trouble with. They are open 7:30am-7:00 pm. In Savannah, you definitely get what you pay for. Our former kennel had great nurturing people but hair everywhere and no play sessions. The Bark kennel has incredible standards and lots of interaction with nurturing staff but it will cost you. About 90% sure we will return but may search to find a place in the middle. You get what you pay for.

The first thing they mentioned at the other vet was their price list, then the doctor came in and never introduced herself. All in all, a bad experience. I could understand the policy more if this were a club, bar, or adult-only atmosphere, but that really isn't the vibe of the restaurant. It feels more like a nice Italian restaurant where families could easily enjoy dinner together. I really hope they reconsider the 18+ policy one day, especially because there aren't many good Italian restaurant options in the surrounding area.
