I have been Zach Wagner's patient for two different conditions, at two different locations. A few years ago, his treatment of a posture/work related neck issue was focused and skillful. When a knee injury sent me back to physical therapy, I was pleased to know Zach had opened Wagner Physical Therapy and Performance in the gym where I was already a member. I received knowledgeable instruction using the equipment there, but easily tailored to home practice. Zach concentrated not only on the rehabilitation of my knee joint, but also on improving the muscles and support so the injury would not repeat itself. The treatment was followed up with in-person and email check-ins, YouTube instruction, and communication between Zach and my personal trainer to coordinate an exercise routine the would safely continue the process. Gym membership is not a requirement for treatment, but I found it a good combination. Zach is a true professional, sensitive to the privacy and respect for his patients. Zach is the best PT I have ever met. I injured my Lower back in December of 2020. I was in extreme pain and couldn't even put my socks on. In the next few weeks I recovered, and got back to normal. 3 weeks later I injured my back again. This time doing something much less intensive. This cycle repeated itself 3 more times in the next 7 months. By September I was becoming hopeless and afraid that I would never get back to normal. My job is physically intensive so I need to be healthy to make a living. Throwing out my back every month isn't an option. I was referred to Zach by a friend, and by the end of our first meeting I was already feeling better. He helped me get out of pain almost entirely in the first few months. He has been helping me strengthen my back ever since to make sure that this doesn't happen again. I started seeing Zach after a few different rounds of physical therapy at other locations for a lumbar herniated disc. Before seeing Zach, I was frustrated because I felt like I was never going to feel better and that I was stuck since previous PT efforts didn't feel specialized to me and my situation. I am a member at Be Fit Performance center so I decided to give Wagner PT a try. I wanted specialized care for my condition, but also wanted to be challenged at the gym, safely. Working with Zach has been awesome - I'd had lingering headaches from a concussion 2 years ago, which led to vestibular issues, cervicogenic headaches, and a number of other issues. Zach put together a plan that helped me improve on those vestibular issues, target specific areas/muscles that needed strengthening, and gave me the confidence to get back to running and being more active. I recently went to see Wagner Physical Therapy when I was having issues with vertigo. I honestly had no idea that a PT could help with this condition, but I thought it was worth a try. I met Dr Wagner at his location inside of the Be Fit gym in Lakeville, MA. It turned out to be the best decision I could have made. Not only was he able to help me with my vertigo, but it happens to be a specialty of Dr Wagners. In the first visit he helped to calm the most dissorienting spinning symptoms. Then he gave me some ongoing work to do at home. Within just a couple of visits along with doing my assigned excercises, I was confidently back on my feet and doing all of the things I could do before the vertigo. Zach is amazing! He is kind, caring, knowledgeable and very passionate about what he does! When exercise, staying fit and keeping the body moving is a life long goal, eventually we overwork a body part or age has it's own plans. Zach has been working with our three kids for the past three years at different times as a result of sports injuries. His comprehensive approach to therapy has been very effective with each of them and has allowed them to get back to what they love doing relatively quickly after PT. The combination of exercises at home and in the clinic has targeted each of their weaknesses that led to injury and the ongoing program post-recovery is helping them to stay healthy and active in each of their respective sports. My daughter is a junior competitive tennis player who started seeing Zach due to a shoulder injury. He was able to figure out what the root cause of the pain was. I was lucky to be able to participate in an online telehealth visit from Zach. It was a great experience! He listened to me as I described my injury, symptoms, and pain management strategy then had me perform a few simple movements/exercises so he could better assess my injury and range of motions. I contacted Zach at Wagner PT after tearing me hamstring. Not only was I in a great deal of discomfort, but I was also concerned about making the injury worse. I came to Zach while I was in the area for a couple weeks to try to resolve several issues I was having related to my powerlifting training. Zach took the time to understand my weak points, do some trial and error with positioning in my squat/bench/dead, and give me practical warmups that I continue to use to this day.
