I have been a patient of Houghton Physical Therapy several times over the years and have been more…read morethan satisfied with the results every time. Most recently Adam and Todd worked with me to relieve shoulder pain that was greatly affecting my daily life. Going in I thought that I would very likely need surgery to relieve the pain which I had been experiencing for more than a year and was impacting my daily life. Through well planned out, patient and steady therapy laid out by Todd and administered by Adam, I slowly but steadily saw improvement to the point that I am no longer hampered by shoulder pain during normal activity. I am also able to play hockey and pickle ball again without restriction. I would recommend Houghton Physical Therapy to anyone that wants to work with a professional group of therapists who provide excellent results in a friendly and accommodating atmosphere.

Let's talk about treatment my wife had two decade long neck issues and I I myself had lowerback pain issues on left side alone. We started with Dr. Danielle Parent first and then Scott Capodanno took over us for rest of the session. after about 3 to 5 sessions, we are both feeling great improvement especially my wife. Scott is such a honest, transparent, humble, soft spoken gentlemen and very patient teacher :) to repeat over and over again if you dont understand or cant follow. Now to welcoming part. While I and my wife were getting treated, our 2.5 year old hyper active and curious daughter was with us, and was watched over by our 16 year old son. She was playing with those Big balls, cones and it was fine with the staff as long as she is watched by big bro and she does not get hurt. Big Bro kepts the things back respectfully. I cant not imagine going to any other physical therapy center with my kids. There is a play area outside but it was 90 degree F and super sunny for them. And my daughter loves their facality because it's has so many interesting things that she has never seen in home :). Very Very appreciative of them being so accommodating.

I had a mild case of Covid in February but had long hauler symptoms of not being able to get enough air into my lungs. Felt like I was suffocating. I had chest palpitations, shortness or breath and extreme muscle weakness. I started my PT with Emily. My RHR was 158 with O2 between 94-96%. After a few short weeks of multiple days a weeks I was able to breathe normally without issues. My O2 got back up to 99% and my RHR was below 70. My muscle weakness improved tremendously now that I can get oxygen to my muscles. I am able to enjoy bike riding and 2-3 mile hikes without effort. HIGHLY recommend PPT if you have Covid related issues Thank you for getting my life back on track

Where do I start? Dr. Brendan Boyle has been very helpful…read moregetting me back prior to my injury. He always asks how I am doing and any changes have occurred since the last visit. He is willing to get in-depth about what is going on whether it's a present pain or the reason why a certain stretch or exercise could/would be favorable. He treats me and others there like human being and not like just another Pt. ES Amanda Stors shares the same philosophies in the caring of myself and others that are there to get back on the road to recovery. She, as does Brendan, will take time just to briefly chat about things that are not directly to do with the reason why you are there. These are the two staff I have the most contact with but I must say that all the faculty share the same ideal. I highly recommend Performance Physical Therapy in Attleboro. Jim H.

University Orthopedics places making as much money off you as possible far above patient interests…read more My experience here was terrible and I want to warn anyone else against trusting the team here. I received bills for things that team members explicitly told me were not going to cost me money. If anyone comes into your room to give you something, tell them to shove it. If they schedule you to with the OT team here, push it back a couple weeks ago so you don't end up going only to find out you aren't recovered enough to start. This group even has their sales people dress in scrubs so you'll assume they are care providers. University Orthopedics is not a place you to go to get your injuries healed, it's a place you go to to lose trust in doctors. I would recommend going anywhere else so you don't end up feeling as stupid as I do for trusting them.

Like I called at 9something and they got me in for 10am! I got to my appointment with Julie with weakness and numbness in my right leg. Emily (one of the girls from the front desk I think) called me today to check on me and my dog! After one of the worst days of my life yesterday, it was so nice to hear from Emily.
