After removal of the branch and resulting debris by a tree company, I asked my insurance agent for a recommendation for reconstruction and restoration. She recommended Capezio Contractors, Inc. and I am very pleased that she did! After a visit by a Capezio estimater, a structural engineer visited the site, and a plan for the repairs was submitted and approved by my insurance company. The job is now complete and I am very impressed by the work Capezio contracted and oversaw. Restoration required a new roof, deck repairs, a new carport and extensive repairs to the exterior and interior of the house including a new roof, replacing all the exterior siding, rebuilding the deck, painting, as well as the installation of a double sliding glass door, some new screens and sanding and varnishing hard wood floors. There was quite a parade of workers - and they all were hard working, experienced people who knew what they what they were doing. They cleaned up every day and also helped move my furniture back to the rooms where they belonged. John, a construction project manager with Capezio, kept me informed of the progress, and the step by step repairs, as well as the country required electrical, framing, insulation inspections. I chose to stay in my house during the reconstruction and repairs. I am very pleased with the way things went and would definitely recommend Capezio Contractors, Inc. to anyone who needs their services. I know I had no idea how complex the whole project would be and I am very grateful for their excellent professional assistance.

When the Capezio was 50% complete he asked for the first draw, Wells Fargo sent out an inspector (unlicensed) who said the work was not done correctly and put the funds in an escrow account. i worked to get the check released to Capezio but Wells would not budge saying i could hire another contractor. I just needed to move my family back into our home. after interviewing 3 prospects i hired a contractor, Well refuse to acknowledge them stating a dispute exsted with Capazio? Wells Fargo was playing how do I keep the money. I ended up paying out of pocket as Wells Fargo held on to the 86 thousand dollars. for repairs. Capezio, one of USAA preferred contractor. USAA promised I'd be satisfied with the work and would never have to go to court with their preferred contactors. but Capezio back doored me and sued me. when i discovered the law suit, while selling another home to pay for the repairs, i was told by Prince George county courts that it was too late to appeal. I was never served, but its Prince George county Maryland (predominated Black) and most of the court cases are fixed by the judges who are paid the most. Capezio sued me for $140.thousand dollars stating that they had completed the job 100% when the home was left molded infested, unfinished and unlivable. To date 6 years later Wellfargo is still holding the 86k for the home repairs from 2016 and 6k for the mold clean up all which i paid for USAA issued all funds to Wells Fargo. i have hired 2 lawyer to go to bat and negotiate- have Wells pay Capezio and for Capezio to accept the amount due 50%. Wells refused? and Capezio states why would they take 50% when they got 140k...Am I Black in America or what

Blair replaced 5 skylights with a more reasonable 3 of a slightly smaller size that better suited the space. They also re-paneled the inside ceiling and carefully matched the stain so everything looks really great. No further issues with roof leaks. Frankly, I would trust the folks at Blair to make everything right - plus they are good people. Thinking of using them again for another big project, because they are professionals in the truest sense of the word. We're very pleased with the high quality workmanship and professionalism exhibited by the Blair teams that worked on our house. Apparently I'm not the first to have this problem. A guy came out and measured our kitchen (IKEA…read morekitchen install) and said he'd be back to us within a week with a quote for the work. We would have installed it ourselves but we needed a new hole through the wall for the new range hood, so we needed professionals. I explained this was the only real reason we wanted to contract them for the install and he was sure to get the range hood product info and all the measurements for the quote. A week went by, then two. I reached out and didn't hear back for another week. He said he was traveling and someone else was handling the project. He would call them to check in. He emailed me the next day saying I should hear something in a day or two. Another week went by. I called and asked where my project was- someone at the office said they'd get back to me soon. The next day a woman left me a voice message saying she was taking over working on the quote and wanted to know if someone had come out to measure yet... I guess she could have checked the file but nope, she asked. I called back and said yes everything should be in the file. She said she'd get me the quote the next day. Another week went by. I called the original guy who had been traveling- he said he couldn't believe they hadn't gotten it to me yet. He called them and sent it over to me via email. The quote was missing the most important piece- the range hood installation. I asked him why it wasn't there as we made it quite clear that was a requirement. He said he gave the office the measurements and instructions so they should have factored it in. He said he'd ask again. The next day he emailed me back saying he didn't work there anymore and 'good luck' on getting what I needed. I contacted the home office in MD again and left a voice message. I then sent an email. Then another email. Weeks have gone by and no one has gotten back to me. What a huge waste of time. We were ready to drop serious cash on an installation; now we're just going to do it ourselves and find a contractor for the range hood portion. tl;dr Don't waste your time! Do what you can on your own and get specialists for the rest. Osprey Bay doesn't have their stuff together, and IKEA, if you monitor these, your company needs to find a new partner for installations.

We did have a consultant come out and measure and design the kitchen with us. A few weeks later, he called and said he was leaving the company and would not be able to work with us. He had very negative things to say about Osprey Bay but I thought that it was just sour grapes. Was I wrong. After months of trying to get someone to take over the project and get our kitchen installed, we finally gave up. We are still trying to get our deposit back from Osprey Bay and have since hired another company to do the installation. I would highly recommend not using Osprey Bay. They are unreliable and have extremely poor communication with their clients. It is too bad that Ikea has chosen them to do their installation exclusively. We have heard through the grapevine at corporate that Ikea may be menacing a change soon. I hope so. Dealing with Osprey Bay was painful and non productive. We will probably have to sue them to get our deposit back
