A few years ago, I contacted this company about a roof leak that was causing water to enter my back bedroom. It took over a year to identify and repair the problem. Multiple crews came to my home, progressively removing drywall and insulation from the walls and ceiling in an attempt to locate the leak. In the process, my home sustained significant damage to the wood floors and electrical, while the bedroom became essentially unlivable. I was left with exposed beams, missing drywall and insulation, and ongoing water intrusion. At one point, they apparently believed the issue was resolved and attempted to replace the drywall without replacing the insulation they had removed. That alone speaks volumes about the level of care and professionalism. Fast-forward a couple of years, and my roof is now leaking in the exact same location. Since this should be a warranty issue, I contacted the company. The last two months have been an exhausting cycle of delayed responses, vague and incomplete information instead of actually addressing the problem. Most recently, I was FINALLY given the number of someone on the MJS team and told to contact him directly to schedule an appointment. For nearly three weeks, I was repeatedly given specific dates and times when someone would come to inspect the roof. They never showed up. Not once. I followed up each time, only to receive another confirmation that someone would come out, followed by another no-call, no-show. My messages were clearly being received and read (the persons read receipts were on). This is not a minor scheduling inconvenience. This is a recurring roof leak in the exact same location, following a previous repair that took over a year and resulted in significant damage to my home. I have now spent months simply trying to get this company to communicate, address the problem, and honor what should be a straightforward warranty issue. The lack of accountability, communication, and follow-through has been unacceptable.
