Our 1950s split-level home in Lutherville had old dingy and dirty wall-to-wall carpet since we moved in. Once the carpet was removed, the original oak floors were revealed, which had been badly stained and darkened over the years....including several large stains from the previous owners' pets. The Mr. Sandless team spent a few days prepping and refinishing the floors, and the results are 1000x better than the old carpet! The pet stains disappeared and the dull dark stained oak is now a beautiful natural honey color. I wanted everything to be sustainable and non toxic, particularly with the engineered hardwoods, which are manufactured and I wanted them thick enough for refinishing down the road. Eddie did a lot of searching for us and really found the best option out there for us and they looked gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. He and the owner even called me about the installation for the basement floors and said they would have to use tiny drops of glue at the joints but they had found a non toxic glue to use and sent me the material safety data sheet. The price was more than reasonable, especially considering they had to pull out about an acre of wall to wall carpeting! The work was done very well and I know if I have any issues, they will correct them. Great company!

My husband and I were extremely satisfied when we used BR Flooring in September, 2015 to do our…read morehardwood floors, so when we had a crisis situation in August of this year after a kitchen sink leak, we contacted BR Flooring again to see if they could get the job done! Now, our insurance company had hired a company to repair our hardwood kitchen floors, but after ripping the floor apart, and having us wait for weeks without any progress being made in repairing the floor and other repairs that were needed to be made as a result of the water damage, we contacted our insurance company, and asked if we could get our own contractors. After getting their approval, we contacted Marco of BR Flooring, and the rest is history! Our hardwood floors look superb! The contractors the insurance company had hired had made a true mess in our kitchen, and said they wanted to replace the entire hardwood floor throughout our first level; however, Marco and his team repaired the damaged area, sanded the floors, stained the floors, applied three coats of polyurethane, and finished the floor with a sealant! The floor looks better than it has ever looked before! We can't give Marco and his team enough credit for the superb job they did! We highly recommend BR Flooring--they are GREAT! Another thing, we had searched and searched for an individual/a company to replace our kitchen cabinet that was damaged as a result of the water damage, but we kept running into a brick wall. We spoke with at least five to six people who we thought could help, but time after time we ended up in the same situation. We only needed one cabinet, but individuals wanted to replace all of our kitchen cabinets. One company even suggested that we remodel the entire kitchen, even though the entire kitchen didn't need remodeling. Again, Marco and his team helped us! Marco and his team were able to get our custom-made cabinet, install it, install our granite countertop, and get everything in our kitchen back to its normal state. We were given a price and the contract was signed that same day! The agent came the next week to measure her floor for the exact measurements and once Chris had the info he called back & the price did change by about $1k but still an excellent price! She put a deposit down when we first went there then paid the rest of invoice when they scheduled the installation. We don't know time frames for ordering products but it took over a month before she got another call to schedule the install. The installers came yesterday & were very professional & did a good job. They even matched up the molding coming into the kitchen & around cabinets and walls and it was perfect. It did take all day but overall great work and again the floor looks amazing.

I can't do similar. I need exact LOL but the customer service was so nice and helpful. Today, I went in for tile for my shower floor. I have no existing shower floor so I could literally go with anything as long as it complimented the rest of the bathroom. The tile selections are endless. And pricey! But get this, they have a discontinued room. Shhhh. Go in there and maybe show them a picture of what you want and ask if they have anything similar that is discontinued. I was able to get a porcelain tile that retails at $20 a piece for $8 a piece. Score! And the manager is so friendly. He supplied my mom her tile when she built her house years ago and still remembers. He gave me a bag of their grout which doesn't stain or grow mildew. Would definitely recommend Chesapeake Tile & Marble for anyone doing some renovations or new build. You'll find one of a kind tiles that your regular home improvement store won't carry.
