Once the carpet was removed, the original oak floors were revealed, which had been badly stained and darkened over the years....including several large stains from the previous owners' pets. The Mr. Sandless team spent a few days prepping and refinishing the floors, and the results are 1000x better than the old carpet! The pet stains disappeared and the dull dark stained oak is now a beautiful natural honey color. Tub Coaters sent out Geronimo promptly and he made some of the repairs even though it was almost 8pm. He's has been here before and I can confidently say he's just as patient as he is competent. Eric worked with me on the price and I'm happy with the repair. As for WHY Tub Coaters wasn't picking up my calls resulting in my 1 star review? Eric said they use some fancy VoIP phones and in an effort to avoid spam calls, the system blocks numbers that call repeatedly (sigh). What's the solution? They said they'd speak to their phone provider to get it fixed up. And how can we get ahold of them? I'd suggest filling out their online form. Hopefully, those messages will go directly to them! When I was unsure about the stain color for my floors, she took the time to meet with me and my husband twice to mix samples. She did multiple stain patches for us to see the color, and made sure I was satisfied before they finished the work. From beginning to end of the process, she sent us updates, progress pictures, and let us know the status of our job. When we had unexpected minor issues come up along the way (issues with our floors, not problems with their work), Yazmin reached out immediately and explained everything plus showed us pictures of whatever needed to be handled. Yazmin even gave us tips on cleaning and maintaining the floor to keep it in good shape. Her experience and knowledge is obvious, and Alluring Floors did a beautiful job!!! I emailed Dovetail and included pictures of the piece. They responded that they could restore it and asked me to bring it in. I drove it over, they gave me a quote, and an expected finish date (I believe it was about a month away). I paid a deposit (half the restoration cost) when I dropped it off. When it was ready, I picked up and paid the remaining invoice amount. The restoration cost wasn't inexpensive, but the piece looks really good and their restoration may have given that piece some new life! It's ready to be used for another 50 years! Highly recommend reaching out to them if you have a piece that needs restoring: fast response, good work, on-time completion.

I called the number and my call was answered immediately. I sent photos of the chips and was able to get a quote right away. I also called another company and AK was lower, so I took a chance and went with AK. I also asked them to rechaulk which they did for a very nominal fee. After they were finished, they sent me photos as I don't live in the condo. I thought they did a fine job based on the photos. They accept credit and check. There is a 3% fee for credit which I opted for. I have been screwed by a vendor in the past and it is extremely hard to get your money back if you write a check. But if there's a problem, you can always try to dispute it with your credit card company if there are issues such as work was not performed to standard or not even performed at all.
