There was a rocky start to my experience with Versa Tile when we went on a Saturday and the salesperson was very unhelpful and rushing us to come back on a weekday. But I took a leap, came back, and tried this place again. My sales rep Andy was 100% better and really helped save the day! He was very considerate, thoughtful, and knowledgeable about granite and countertop installations. We ended up finding a beautiful option and the install was a breeze. Never use versatile in crofton. Unethical practices, was quoted a price, then later charged double! Owner used every excuse from his son quoted it so it must be his sons fault, it was not his son that quoted. Then it must have been his cousin female that gave the wrong price. It was a simple match piece for the side of a vanity 4"by 22". Took no responsibility At all the entire discussion. I called twice after my son picked up the peice and paid, so I left a message which they didn't call back, then went up in person. Was given every excuse why it wasnt his fault. This is the owner, so you know he doesnt care about customers! Do yourself a favor go elsewhere!! Do not spend your hard earned money here. rating os 0 for taking advantage of customers. note to the owner that just responded- I would never asked for ANYTHING free (illogical)- just what I was was quoted for a simple 3 inchx 22 inch peice. I took time to visit your store to quote a price then go back and order, have my son pickup visit to finish the purchase. this exchange / unrealistic response that the customer is looking for free is UNTRUE, I asked for a reasonable pay for service that I quoted; in fact you claimed afterwards there is nothing less than $100 service minimum. Which again was not the quoted/ mentioned for I would have gone to lowes instead. But I wished to shop local businesses , which I now regret. read more

I had new kitchen countertops (granite) and cabinets installed in my kitchen. Lab was great at explaining the procedure and the steps that needed to be taken to install everything. Flecia was wonderful at coordinating the installation. I can't say enough wonderful things about this business. They go the extra mile including adjusting cabinet shelves for me. This wasn't might first experience using Versatile. I had a marble fireplace installed in my Family Room and it is exquisite. I just can't say enough wonderful things about this group. We've worked with versa tile before and had such a good experience we went back. They now provide vanities and counter tops. The selection of tile and stone is amazing. The best thing though is the customer service. We worked with Jessica to choose and order the tile, vanity and stone. She was very helpful and answered numerous questions and emails as we changed our design a few times. The stone was cut by Mustafa and he did an amazing job making sure it was all done right. Getting the tub and sinks undermounted to the stone tops and installed in place perfectly. We had to use a different supplier before for our vanity and countertops, but could not be happier to be able to use Versa for those this time. This is just my feeling after the experience we had. They were the highest price by 30-60% MORE in their flooring no prices on tiles they told us prices. Their selection was minimal and a little chubby girl played like she had a clue but she really didn't. They made us feel they were too busy to help And we were inconveniencing them but that they would Try to fit us in. That is not how you offer good customer service. The chubby girl with strange valley girl speech was just nasty sharp with her words. It took a lot for us to not laugh at her valley girl talk/speech! So like totally she was just not a professional but trying real hard to play one and the owner was totally like her now that she like totally acted out that made him like totally do the same like thing! Totally what ever! (This was what it was like speaking to her in out opinion.) We figured this is why they have a small show room and why our friends informed us not to waste time going there because they weren't nice but ae didnt listen. read more

We are repeat customers of VersaTile because of the excellent service, beautiful design ideas, and attention to detail. Their selection of tile is amazing. Lab, the owner, truly goes above and beyond. Most recently, we had to have our bathrooms completely renovated because of an emergency plumbing issue, for which the plumbers had to jackhammer through the floor in half our house to replace our entire main drain line. We had to move out of our house in December since there were no bathrooms. Lab and his team worked tirelessly to help us avoid a long-term stay in a rental and even got us and our kids back in the house before Christmas. Lab has an excellent eye for design- he suggested particular design aspects I didn't even know I wanted until he suggested them. The selection is great for what appears from the outside to be a small store. The customer service is friendly and knowledgeable. We were looking for a kitchen backsplash, and planned to do it ourselves, and the staff talked us through our options for thinset, grout, edging, etc. The tile we chose, based on a sample in the store, was not the size we wanted so they graciously ordered us a sample in the size we wanted so we could see it before purchasing. Once the order was placed we received our tile earlier than expected and no breakage. The prices were comparable to the big box stores so we purchased everything (tile, thinset, grout, edging) here. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for tile. read more

A few months ago, my wife and I found the exact bathroom tile we were looking for with the help of the no pressure staff. They were fun to work with and gave me samples to take home and compare in each bathroom we were remodeling. They actually ordered a sample that wasn't in the store free of charge and had lots of ideas about how to come up with the perfect match. I went back and forth to the store a few times with different samples until finally settling on the perfect match of tile. The owner, Labinot did the installation and full remodel on each bathroom. He was a pleasure to work with and made sure I was happy. Lab took his time with me, explaining why things needed to be done a certain way or at a particular time. His tile installation workers were very careful around the house, laid down protective drop cloths each day leaving a very clean work space. Lab is a perfectionist and he makes sure his installers are doing a high quality job. Every feature is well thought out; from the height of the shower heads to the placement of the shelves. I ordered some smooth pebble for the shower floor which came in pre-attached sheets. Lab had his installer remove all of the pebbles and lay them by hand to ensure they were of equal height and would not create an uncomfortable pressure point. I would never have thought of that. He saves pictures of all his jobs and if you are lucky to have Versa-Tile remodel your bath, have the owner show you mine. It is the small bathroom with the really cool, slate colored tile and the glass shower enclosure. read more

Front end helpers were great. Selection was awesome. Ordering was painful. We had to wait for owner to arrive at work twice so he could special order our tile and flooring. Even so, he never took the initiative to let us know if the order was successfully submitted. After 3 weeks of non-status despite our reaching out for one, we cancelled the order. The next month we were billed for the tile and flooring we never received. Overall experience was awful. read more

I can't say enough good things about Jessica, Lab and Mustafa! I'm updating a bathroom and our kitchen in our house in Crownsville; neither have been updated since 2 owners ago (ca. 1991-ish)! My contractors are nearing the finish line, I'll post pictures when they're done. My experience with these folks has been so great I've referred 2 people to them, and my contractor has already referred them to a client of his (he wasn't aware of them until I brought him and he is a big fan now). They had the best prices, a fantastic selection, and the best customer service. I bought tile for a kitchen backsplash, and my experience was fantastic. I walked in sure of what I wanted, but a few alternatives were suggested by the designer, and I went with her advice. I am so glad that I did. We plan to sell in a few years, and I realize that my original choice would have seemed dated and would not have appealed to many buyers. The designer suggested alternatives without being pushy. I love my new kitchen and have received so many compliments. Great service, timely delivery and good price. Owner went above the norm to make us happy. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was not being told a small part of the order would take longer to arrive. If we had known we would have ordered it sooner. No big deal since that part of the order won't be needed till the end of the remodel project. read more
