Every time I visit, the prices change, sometimes fairly drastically. Same when dealing with different sales reps not many days apart. The total lack of price transparency makes every interaction feel like a big negotiation, which makes the entire process move at a snail's pace. In an age where you can find most of these products on manufacturer websites or through more straightforward sources, the lack of consistency here makes it hard to return.

We had an amazing overall experience with Beyond Kitchen and Bath. We hired Luis and his team to…read moreremodel our master bathroom after a major plumbing issue. They turned it from a dated, functional space into a contemporary oasis. It is now quite literally one of my favorite spaces in our home. We did an extensive contractor search. We ruled out some contractors because their work seemed too "cheap" and they claimed to do everything, rather than just bathrooms. Others were way too expensive without a clear reason why. Luis came in in the middle of our quotes, but he was one of the only true bathroom specialists. Here's a few things I appreciate about Beyond: 1. Focus on quality. Luis is neither the most expensive nor the cheapest contractor out there. But for us, he was the ideal mix between cost-consciousness and top quality. He worked hard to make sure our installation was "high end" in every way. 2. Great use of subs and vendors. Luis has a good network of subcontractors and vendors for specific projects, so that specific tasks are accomplished by experts. For example, his granite guy, his shower glass guy, and his cabinet painting guy were all specialists. Luis managed them very well and ensured we had their best service at the best possible price. 3. Daily progress. The team did not take long periods off, even during the holidays. Luis ensured that his crew showed up on time and made progress every day. 4. Fixing problems. As is going to occur on most jobs, we had a few bumps in the road - some painting areas that needed to be cleaned up, a plumbing issue that needed to be resolved. After a few issues, Luis eventually handled these problems and insured that they were fixed. 5. Payment schedule. We appreciated the ability to do weekly or twice-weekly payments as the job progressed. And most importantly, the final result. Our bathroom speaks for itself (see before and after photos with this post). What was a relatively dated but still nice space is now a showcase for our home. We will absolutely be using Beyond again; we've actually already had them update another half-bath in our basement. We enthusiastically recommend them to others.

I knew about the quality of work of this company before as they did my full kitchen and den renovation back in 2018, that is why I didn't hesitate to contact them again for the bathrooms. They are extremely good on every detail and will walk you through the process of the renovation. Take my word, they are that good! Will hire them in the future for the installation of new flooring for the home.

If you're unfamiliar, you can list what you're in the market to have done and Yelp sends a message to the perspective shops on your behalf that service your area. I received several potential options and booked a few estimate visits. After the estimate and speaking directly to Troy from The Flooring Center, I knew this company was a perfect fit for our budget. Plus, they had stellar 5 star reviews online. The wood was ordered and delivered within 2 days and a day was scheduled for the installation. After being quoted 2 days for installation by another flooring company, I was highly impressed this job would only take 4 - 5 hours for The Flooring Center to complete. On the day of the installation, the flooring team arrived within the quoted time slot and did a fabulous job with the installation. They literally came in and got to work! It was about 4 or 5 workers and they had an excellent team work system. One would stay outside to cut the wood, 2 were working on the floor, another was running back and forth, while another was cleaning up. They finished within the quoted time slot and were in and out in a flash! They literally arrived at 8:15am and were gone by 11:30am. I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED! The clean-up went well and we were very pleased with the final product. If you're in the market for new flooring or carpet, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. Quality work, excellent customer service and reasonable prices.
