I requested an estimate to correct the bad patio installation from a previous contractor. Elmer of J imagine landscaping LLC provided a thorough review and estimate of the patio. He made me aware of Maryland standards with regards to stair height and a host of other safety related concerns. This was also noted by another reputable company. I hired this company due to their professionalism, reputation and pricing. The work was completed above my expectations and within a couple of days. J Imagine demolished our old crumbling retaining wall under our back deck and built a new one for us. The crew was fast but all the work was completed professionally and there was no skimping. It's a good looking solid wall and they were able to do all of this work under a low clearance deck and working around the sump pump pvc piping. They removed all the debris and even spread some grass seed over the area that was disturbed by the work. It was a big job but they had the best price. Two starts instead of one because a representative did show-up initially to look at the space as agreed. Thereafter, I was told I need to hurry-up and make a decision on the hire. A couple of days later, J Imagine was notified, they were hired for my project. Elmer accepted; however, he would not timely follow-up or follow through and did not keep the appointments he set. For some strange reason, although we reached a verbal agreement for repairing the landscaping, Elmer refused to provide a written agreement along with the estimate.
