My daughter loves this dance studio. I like the modest outfits for the performance and the morals and values discussed in class. The environment is very welcoming to new girls and everyone feels included. I highly recommend even though it's a lot more expensive than other studios. I took my daughter for the "two weeks of classes for $50," which just means 2 classes for $50. I thought that cost was kind of high, but I did want her to try the studio. The teachers are all very nice! Very sweet to my daughter and I really appreciated that. I wasn't fond of the seating options to watch her dance though. Benches are small and uncomfortable. The dance classrooms have small windows and blinds. It is hard to see in the classroom unless you're standing at the windows and a lot of other parents stand and watch too. Cost for tuition is higher than other studios I've talked to. Almost twice expensive monthly. Class times weren't ideal for us. Wish there was a mid-morning weekday class for her because our evenings are pretty busy and the location isn't super close to our home. I don't want to deal with rush hour traffic. Overall my daughter said class was fine, little boring, so we will continue the search. read more

I have been out dance training for over a year until I found this place! I love coming here four days a week to train in ballet and jazz. The teachers are great and the rest of the staff is really engaging as well. Always super happy to start my week at Wagner. They have adult dance classes every night of the work week. They're a good work out and fun. However, the type of instructor you get, is the luck of the draw. Some are more challenging to follow and understand then others. I recommend you call to ask who's instructing the class your planning to take. The Ballet instructor is the best one by far! Ms. Tracy the dance teacher for the littles has been wonderful, in the first class they join they evaluate the children and give you a breakdown on how classes will help your children, not just in dance, but with listening skills, or courage, and confidence. My daughter has been enrolled for a month now and looks forward to class every Saturday. I encourage everyone to go to Wagner dance arts if you're looking to learn teamwork and high valued skills. My daughter started taking classes at the beginning of the season in January. She took Jazz and then the Tech class later in the year. She has LOVED her instructors, the environment, and, even more so, the Summer performance. She has more confidence, not only in her day-to-day, but also on stage. She loves theatre and this studio has helped her come out of her shell even more. I'm so grateful for the Wagner Dance Arts team for all they have done for my daughter. As an adult who has never danced but wanted to I have found Wagner Dance studio a wonderful addition to my day twice a week doing adult tap classes. I was worried at the beginning, being a beginner in a class with others at different levels. Classic bait and switch. We signed our two daughters up for regular weekly classes and have enjoyed it for almost two months now. My wife pays the monthly fees which are auto debuted. I paid the start up fee which required me to write my credit card info on the contract. Ruby, who gave us our enrollment presentation, filled in on the contract what the cost fees were for weekly classes as well as optional recital participation. She explained that there are two recitals a year and for each child there is a costume fee of $185. She filled in the blank on the contract what the cost would be. I explained to Ruby that both of our daughters were shared with their other parents and we would not be able to be part of the recitals, and also we did not plan on spending that kind of money, we were just interested in the weekly classes. Almost 2 months later, I was charged two $185 fees. I contacted Wagner dance arts studio, and of course they were closed due to the COVID-19 coronavirus. Ruby called me back leaving a voicemail and said that i was to tell her we would not be participating in the recitals before March 15, otherwise they charged for the recital. I called back several times and obviously the only contact to the business is the studio which is closed. What's important here is that I explicitly told Ruby the day we signed up that we were not interested in the recitals and if we decided that it would work out then at that point we would consult with them. In her voicemail she also explained that they have a strict policy for no refunds. I am awaiting a call back and I hope this will be resolved, and if it is not, this is not a business that I would trust with my credit card on file, nor feel good about supporting. Nobody should be taken advantage of like this, $370 was removed from my bank account charged by Wagner dance arts, right after they closed their doors due to the virus. The $185 fee was written on my contract, and I signed, and I gave my credit card information for the start up fee. I called my bank to report a charge that was fraudulent, and they could not process a refund for me without me providing any written paperwork showing that I am not liable for the charge. Of course my contract shows the recital amount, and it states on the contract that I give them my permission to run my card. It is important to me, my wife, and our daughters that we continue in this dance program, we are impressed with the teachers and our girls are very happy. Let's see if they do the right thing and honor our conversation when we explained we wound not be participating in the recitals, Which was well before March 15, it was the day we signed up. I am a business owner, and if I charged my clients items that were written into the contract but not performed, I would never deny a refund, it's not right. read more

I recently moved to Arizona and quickly found this studio as a great place to take Adult level Ballet and Jazz classes! I have been dancing a long time, and their classes are geared toward beginner level, but they don't mind me challenging myself in class. Everyone is so nice and super professional. Wow, I have been bringing my Daughter here to dance on and off for the past few years. The owner always seemed to be very kind but the rest of the employees are very unprofessional. I took a break for a few years after a terrible season where my daughter didn't have a set instructor for her class, one month before her already paid for recital. This last year seemed to go by a lot smoother. At the end of the year my daughter was asked to be a part of the dance team, which costs a significant amount more. My daughter wasn't interested in the other classes the team requires, so we decided to just sit on it over the summer since the studio is closed for summer anyways. Without EVER registering for any classes at the end of the season, my account was charged twice for a registration fee and a monthly class fee for the dance team, I was livid. And to make to top it off, the studio was conveniently closed for the summer so there was no one for me to even speak to about reversing the charges. Finally, in August when the studio opened (almost a month later) I spoke to someone who "credited" me the money that was charged to my account without authorization. I won't say any names but the employee I spoke with was extremely unprofessional!!! I was told I had signed her up and consented to the charges (which never happened) but she would credit it back. Lol I should have known right there to move on, but the location and class times are convenient for her father and I to coordinate. Ah, so that would keep me paid up until October 1st. In the beginning of this month I received a phone call that they were changing there payment system and needed a card on file for monthly auto pays. I was a little skeptical about giving a card because of what had previously happened and expressed that to the woman on the phone, but she ensured me that I was all paid up u til October 1st and wouldn't be charged until then. One week later, on a Sunday, I was charged just under 200$ without my consent. I wanted to scream!! Of course the studio is closed Sunday so I had to wait to call and talk to someone. Now keep in mind, I NEVER signed any paperwork or anything this season for dance because I was just auto enrolled for the dance team which my daughter did not want to be apart of, so I had no notice of any miscellaneous charges that may hit my account, but I do have an email address and phone number on file that you would think is used for notices regarding payments or at the absolute least a receipt. Now, I understand we are all human and things can slip our minds but It was verbally verified that my card wouldn't be charged for anything again until the 1st of October one week ago. I finally spoke with the same girl I had spoke with about the last incident (different than the woman who said I wouldn't be charged u til the 1st) who again was claiming she was not at fault in anyway. Apparently my last seasons paperwork rolls over to this season? And allows them to charge for whenever they need without notice? That is what I was told after I said I had never signed anything consenting this payment. I asked what I was being charged for and was told it is for a costume.... it gets better!! Now we are getting closer to the next recital which is in December and after my daughters last class she came home to tell me she was doing the same song and a lot of the same routine she had done for the show last year.... wow. Lol now it makes sense why they wanted her to be on the team. This place is a scattered mess. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to come here. You will be wasting your money. I was definitely a sucker in this situation, I hope this story helps prevent anyone else from going through what I did. read more

I just enrolled my daughter and son at Wagner Dance Arts. The best part is my children were able to try the class first before we signed up for their program. They are teaching my 6 and 9 year old not only how to dance but how to listen in a class setting as well. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a family environment with trained dance teachers and staff members. read more
