So i have always been a sports mom this is our first year of dance and man oh man its been a roller coaster. When we first started i was skeptical on it. But as we are ending our first year my daughter loves it and wants to do solos next year. She loves her hip hop tumble teacher Miss. D. But also her face lights up when she runs into the studio yelling Ms. Debbie or even the receptionist Danielle. We do 3 classes a week and leave it to her she would have more if we lived closer. My daughter danced at this studio short term back in 20015-2016 which I do realize was quite a few years ago. Our experience was pretty normal and not very unusual. However I will say I was not enthused when it came to paying I distinctly remember the owner making us a very young couple feel bad when it came down to paying our bill. I don't like writing bad reviews because I know it can affect business but this place has a lot to improve on. The entire dance studio is run down and has a lot of cosmetic and functional problems. Floors are peeling up, transitions in doorways are missing or sticking up, and paint is chipped everywhere. There is even a spot in the floor in one of the dance rooms that looks like it is sinking and moldy. The windows to see in the dance rooms are high and standing at them is difficult because the hallways are very small. The owner also teaches classes and taught my daughters class. She ALWAYS started late and ended early. I actually started keeping track because I felt like we were being jipped in time. The class was supposed to be an hour long and every single time it was only about 30 minutes which is frustrating because I am paying for an hour. Every class was the exact same routine and if that meant it ended early because there were not a lot of kids, then that is what happened. My daughter was by herself once and there was no 1 on 1 teaching, it was the same routine of play this song and do this song. The teacher also liked to do a choreographed dance and read her notes in her book and dance to the song, but not actually teach it to the kids. So she watched herself in the mirror and did the dance while these poor little kids tried to follow along. My daughter loves dancing and wanted to do gymnastics too so we found this dance studio that did tumbling as part of the class. She loved that part of the class so we decided to leave and pursue gymnastics. It was a good out to leave and I didn't care that we had some makeup classes still. I do know they have a groupon and that's how a lot of people found out about this place. I was not aware of the groupon which would have saved me $30 a month. There are a lot of dance studios for kids out there, but this one is not worth the charged price per month and would look elsewhere, even thought the reviews state otherwise. read more

I absolutely love this dance studio. From day one we were greeted and welcomed with open arms. When we first enrolled it was to get our granddaughter/daughter involved in something, the Groupon price was great and could not pass up. She has made some great friends and the instructors are not only the best cheerleaders but incredible instructors. I would highly recommend Just Dance and have recommended to coworkers. My daughter was in one of the younger classes at this studio, and from the beginning we had an awkward experience. We never were aware of what was happening - there was no posted calendar system, and emails would have attachments that didn't work. As a dad, I would ask the other dancers (older girls) to take my daughter to get her diaper changed, as there were regularly girls in states of undress near the restrooms, and when I would bring it to the attention of the owner and the manager, I would be told "yeah, that's how our girls are". As we got closer to the recital, we were excited (for the daddy dance and to see our daughter). We paid the fees, bought the costume, and waited for it to come together. The costume that was picked for the youngest group fit terribly, and when we mentioned it, we were told "yeah, that one won't fit, it's really designed for an older age group"... why did we pay that kind of money for a costume that the teachers KNEW would not fit. Closer to the recital, my wife and I were approached by the front office manager with a set of raffle tickets (this was badly explained). They proceeded to pressure us to try to sell a 50/50 raffle to our friends and family that would already be buying tickets to see our daughter dance. Incidentally there were no comp tickets for parents, or even for myself, who was participating in the daddy/daughter dance. At the recital, everything went from awkward to bad... the entrance to the back stage was also the changing area for the older dancers (also the only way to get to the prep area for the youngest girls). I was able to walk through when we first arrived, but after that it became similar to the restrooms at the studio itself. There was no onstage practice before the performance, and there was no glow tape set at the edge of the stage. When my daughter wandered (as 2 year olds do) toward the edge immediately before the performance, the owner leapt towards her, and knocked her over. While this barely prevented her from falling off the stage, it also scared her badly, and instead of dancing during the recital, she sat at the side and screamed for my wife and I. My wife wound up getting my daughter from the stage during the performance because she was crying so hard. While we watched the recital, we noticed that the majority of the dances were choreographed to be very sexy, even for the six and seven year old dancers. This was enough to let us know we did not want our daughter to continue in that studio. There was even a solo dance with a very young girl gyrating on a bed. As if this wasn't enough, when we left after my daughter finished "performing", my family tried to exit through the rear doors only to find that they had been taped across and were blocked from the outside, in clear violation of fire code. When we tried to open them, we were told "you need to go back in and use the doors toward the edge, not the ones in the middle of the auditorium". Finally, we approached the manager of the studio to tell her about our discontent with the entire situation, and the fact that my daughter had not gotten to perform at all, and that the doors were illegally blocked. We were told "yes, that sometimes happens". There was no apology, and there was no empathy from them. It was a terrible experience, and we chose to hold off posting this until we got the video from the recital, on the off chance that it wouldn't get released to us had we posted immediately following the fiasco. No one from the studio, except for the owners sister apologized to us for the experience we had. I would not recommend this studio to anyone. read more

I love this dance studio and so does my daughter. They have a wonderful staff and great choreographers. Miss Debbie, Miss Alexis, and Miss Andrea are wonderful at teaching the kids how to dance. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and they always want the best for child's dance career. We have been coming to this dance studio for 2 yrs and are in their company performance group along with my daughter who has her own solo and she does wonderful job. We are in parades, performance shows like the ostrich festivals and many completions that come to town. Her and I love and enjoy working with all her dance teachers. Debbie, Since I can't reply to your comment. I'll just leave this here... First let me start off by saying. At the time that I left this review my daughter WAS a student at your dance studio. I was a paying customer and a well one at that. Maybe if it didn't take you so long to get your AC fixed we'd still be there. I changed the level of stars because my review never got a reply. Not only is that completely unprofessional, so is your attitude. As a business owner you should be thankful for the constructive criticism so you then know how you improve your dance studio and learn to be more customer oriented. As a studio owner you are supposed to be setting a positive example for many young girls instead you are leaving bitter distasteful comments to previous paying customers. You've just shown true colors and everyone on Yelp will get to see it publicly. I have my daughter enrolled here. She is apart of one their dance teams. The owner is great, very nice, flexible and the studio is structured. The teachers are good with the children. They have many performances throughout the year. They perform in parades and have yearly recitals. The teachers take routines seriously and work with them on stretching and flexibility to better the students dance careers. My daughter goes to classes 3xs a week here and tuition is fairly priced. My only complaint is it tends to get really hot in the studio. There is air conditioning in the dance rooms where the girls practice but not in the waiting area where the parents sit and watch the students. It can be miserable. To me, it's a poor way to run a business especially in a state that's known to get pretty hot in summer months. read more

This studio is really wonderful ! It is filled with enthusiastic and compassionate teachers who take the time to really connect with each and every dancer. My niece has been dancing here for the past month and she has loved every minute of it ! I had my daughter in a ballet class last year and we came in late in the season. I believe it was sometime in January and classes ended around the 1st week in June. Right off the bat I was asked if I wanted my daughter in the upcoming June recital. I declined because she was just starting and wouldn't have had the months of practice the other girls had. I didn't feel she would have been as prepared as she would have been if she had started with everyone else. This was her first class ever, I wasn't even sure she would like it. Well, I was constantly asked. A few times by the owner and once by the instructor who sent me an email explaining why they felt my daughter would do great. I felt really pressured, and got the impression that they were only interested in the money it would have cost had I said yes. The class itself was good. The teachers she had seemed nice and helpful with the all the girls when teaching certain moves and positions, but frankly I never felt 100% comfortable there. I moved her to a different studio in the fall and she's loving it. read more

This would be the 3rd studio my daughter's enrolled in. My previous experiences were horrible, but I love this school! We are now 2 years in and 2 of 3 daughters attend. Next year, all 3 will! Tuition is very reasonable, especially compared to other studios out there. Although there are recital fees and costume fees, it's extremely inexpensive! I paid less on 2 costumes last year than I did on 1 the recital prior at another studio! The teachers are very friendly and patient with the little ones, but focused with the older ones. My daughters have both grown quite a bit as dancers in their 2 years here! An additional perk is this school isn't so team focused. They absolutely showcase their team, but it doesn't impact the quality of education for the other classes. There's no pressure to join a team and it doesn't feel competitive. It's a welcoming environment where kids of any level can get a quality education. I highly recommend this studio. read more

This is a excellent studio! My granddaughter will be starting her 3rd year at Just Dance and it's been awesome! My granddaughter started her first year with a free trial class in Tap, Ballet & Tumble and continued the whole year ending in a recital. Her 2nd she did Tiny Star's and was in parades and did performances at Tempe Market Place & a Winter Showcase Performance at Dobson High School. Miss Debbie is the owner of the studio and the most sweetest person you could ever meet she listens to your needs and will make it possible if it's within her control. Miss Debbie is also a instructor at Just Dance my granddaughter looks forward every week to go to dance she greets Miss Debbie with a hug and Miss Debbie always makes the time too give her a hug back and ask her how she is doing. Miss Debbie is very professional in what she does let's you make payments for costumes instead of having the money up front which helps me out a lot. Just Dance just had there recital at the beginning of June so my granddaughter is doing tap ballet & tumble till classes resume August 1st then my granddaughter will be starting The Rising Stars Company class. If your looking for a awesome dance studio I recommend Just Dance 100% Miss Debbie is excellent with the kids and has so much patience with all the kids. read more
