I came here this past Friday and had a really wonderful time and wanted to share my experience here. I asked one of my Reformer Pilates instructors about a place I could get hip hop or k pop dance lessons and he mentioned this place to me. Fast forward a few more weeks, I found a South African ampiano style groove class happening here and signed up for the class! This dance class isn't always offered so when I saw it happening here, I immediately jumped for it. The studio itself is tucked into a row of office like suites and there was a few more dance rooms here. Easy parking here. Our room got the job done as there were mirrors and cool art painted on one wall. I guess my only gripe is that the room was kind of small for the amount of people signed up for the class and I didn't love the overhead fluorescent style light. The room was pretty hot but granted we were all moving quite a bit. And there was a huge fan in the room, which was really nice. I'd definitely come back to take another class here and there are some serious dancers that come thru here, I enjoyed my experience here! read more

Hand down the best dance studio in the valley! Amazing instructors, the kids here are crazy good. Mainly focus on Hip-Hop and street styles. I don't know how they're not more popping on here. The studio win many amazing credible awards and touches many kids heart! Leah and RaeRae are hand down the best teachers/mentors. Very kind and loving people! This is a GREAT dance studio that focuses on hip hop street styles. The owners Leah and RaeRae really treat every student like they're family and take the time to ensure each person knows the basics and foundations of the different street styles there are in hip hop. It's a studio for all ages. I think the youngest I've seen had to have been maybe 4 or 5. And they even incorporate the parents to get them out on the dance floor! All the dance instructors are great and really make you feel comfortable when you first walk in. It's nice to have that feeling of immediate acceptance into their "family" so you don't feel so intimidated, like I've felt multiple times at other studios. I just went to their Nutcracker event in central Phoenix last weekend after being invited by some friends. The auditorium was packed, but I felt like more people should know or be going to something as creative as this. I haven't taken a class here yet, but seeing the students perform through hip hop dance the Nutcracker story was incredible. I seen all different types of people, ages, shapes and sizes in the dance groups that are students of Jukebox so I feel like it would be a great place to learn some dance. My girl and I were talking about possibly doing a hip hop class there so if/when that happens, I'll update the review to let you know about that. I did stop into the studio to buy the tickets, it has a nice urban feel to it, even being in the middle of Gilbert in a strip mall. They had great artwork and paintings on the wall, and one of the instructors was quick to tell me that the place still had a few things to fix since they are not done fixing things up. So give this local business a shot and take some classes there! read more

My son loves the people here. The recently started a hip hop for tots program that he was lucky enough to have two weeks in a row of great dance instruction from some extremely talented people. He had a phenomenal time and is so sad that the class hours conflict with his current school schedule. We will definitely come back! read more

Me and my boys have been taking the locking class every Tuesday night for the past four weeks. It's absolutely the best thing that I've started doing, and I hope I never miss a class for the entire year of 2017. Leah is an awesome teacher, and she doesn't hold back. She keeps everybody on the same speed no matter the difficulty, and I appreciate that. Last week I was having difficulty keeping up, and after the class was over, she took time to help me get over the part that was most difficult for me. There's nothing more motivating and inspiring been a teacher who recognizes when a student is having difficulty and does something about it. I feel like I'm becoming part of the jukebox family. There's a great place, bring your friends, bring your kids, bring your mom if she's into Zumba, and take the locking class on Tuesday night. So much fun! read more

In the time that I have danced at this studio, I can say that my growth has been absolutely tremendous. Whether you're here to take choreography classes, style training, or even freestyle classes, there's always something for everyone interested in taking street style dance classes. The faculty is extremely knowledgeable in the culture and are super helpful! Everyone at the studio is extremely welcoming and is my home away from home!! Tuition and workshops are also very reasonably priced compared to other places! It's a very authentic studio full of very creative minded people, and the experience that you get here is absolutely amazing!!! I have been taking classes at the Jukebox for the past 6 months and I LOVE the vibe there! All of the staff is so energetic, down-to-earth and welcoming. The Jukebox really knows how to promote positivity and a passion for dance. I also love the monthly events they have, like battles to workshops taught by well-known choreographers/dancers from CA and AZ. If you're looking for a studio with a great vibe and super talented instructors, the Jukebox is on the top of my list! My daughter is 19 and new to dance and worried she was too "old" to get started. She found the Jukebox and we've been going for about 9 months now, she even had her first performance last night. This studio creates an amazing welcoming and encouraging environment. Everyone treats everyone like family. You will see dancers of all levels and all ages, from tiny dancers just learning to move to amazing skilled performers. RaeRae and Leah are sweet, encouraging and so welcoming - really if you or your kids want to learn to dance, even if it's a drive, it's worth it because you'll learn real skills and enjoy yourself along the way! read more
