We thought everything was ok. We got an email saying we were let go saying we were unhappy and money-- which we never said. We had a conversation about cost a few weeks ago and it was cleared up. I think folks may have heard PRIVATE conversations I had with my family about cost and upset from miscommunication... which is why we had the conversation with Rachel (dancers ink) and it was clarified. We were all happy. Then behind our backs, guess someone decided to cause drama. Instead of talking with us-- they just sent a heartbreaking email. I would say-- watch your back if you go to this studio. I thought people were nice and familial. Not the case.

I was very young and naive when we joined the studio and was there 6 years from 2016 when they opened until 2021 when we left. We outgrew the studio politics but another side note is we appreciate the experience ad we did learn a lot of what not to do as well as what we did like going forward for what's best for our children. Which we realize does not fit every families list of priorities. Like I said do your research and find what's best for YOUR FAMILY. In a nutshell I do recommend the business but not long term most likely short term. 2.5 stars

He began classes in July when most of the students hadn't started yet. It was wonderful then. He got lots of individualized attention and the teachers were knowledgeable and knew lots of methods that he hadn't encountered before. Once the students returned when school started, everything changed. Focus and structure were gone from the classes. He was unable to try out for the competitive teams being new to the area, but the recreational classes were not able to accommodate his experience. Rules were not enforced. Kids were disruptive. They wore inappropriate clothing both for age and function. Things like bikinis or full length school skirts. And even though the school has a wonderful male instructor and other male students, many kids told my son that he couldn't dance because he was a boy. He felt unwelcome and didn't get the camaraderie and instruction he was used to at his former studio. There is so much potential in this studio, but the lack of discipline and cooperation among students made it a bad fit for my dancer.

Kudos to Ryan, Erin, Stephanie and Jason for making each group class a fun place to learn. Would have liked it if they had some steady set of advanced dancers but ah well !! The studio is rather small so it's not a place where serious dance parties can be held. They have field trips so the size of the dance floor might not be a problem for many students. Instructors go on the field trips, which is kind of cool because students can be nurtured as they progress in their dance skills. The experience level of the dancers is low so DD isn't a very good bet for dancers who want to social dance beyond newbie level. Probably most people that start at DD quickly move on to other studios and venues once they get the basics down. The lessons are expensive compared to many studios who have comparable instructors.

Now the both take multiple classes and love every minute. Their baby brother loves it here too and always tries to sneak in class and the teachers are so sweet with him. They came to dance and fell in love with it but they also found a family here. All the older girls really take care of and love on them and it has been so special for me to watch and get to be a little part of. Maria was the first teacher we had and we all totally fell in love with her! She is an angel. I honestly was nervous to have my kids take classes with any of the other teachers because we loved her so much but as they started taking more classes and getting to know the other teachers we realized they're all just as amazing! All of the teachers really take the time to get to know each of the kids and make them feel loved and special while still teaching them and helping them grow and raise their own personal bar. They also have killer recitals and the most fun costumes! Every other recital is scripted and all the kids have an opportunity to audition for a speaking role and/or special dance. It is so fun and the kids have the best time with it! My kids confidence has grown so much in the last year here. I'm so grateful for this studio and the special part they play in our family's life.

You never know who is going to be at the desk and the studio is in need of a full deep cleaning. Very grungy and dusty. My daughter liked her teachers as did I until the weeks prior to the recital. I was told by one teacher not to come to pictures in costumes because another little girl did not get her costume....... I was sent an email the day prior to pictures that things had changed and to come in costume. Well I guess I am not someone who looks @ my email everyday and did not get the message. I was very very upset...... Her teacher was very rude about the whole situation. I was wondering why calls on an actually phone were not made!!! Then the night of her recital I was unaware of the dance lineup..... because my daughter was in two classes. I needed time to go back and change her between performances.Ten minutes before show started they handed out programs. There are 50 plus dances and my daughters were put back to back and they even left her name out of the program for her second class. This meant NO time to get her changed. I had to miss her performance to wait back stage and change her into another costume so she could get back on stage. They didn't even care. So unprofessional!!! The women who run this place are more concerned with their daughters being in all the classes then taking care of a business. One last note..... very sad..... as I was going to grab my daughter after her performances I saw a teacher scolding her students for not remembering the dance on stage...... these are young kids. I was flabbergasted. I will never never go back to that studio and would not recommend parents take there children there.
