They've gone the way of everyone else; only the stars matter. Everyone else who has been keeping their lights on for years has been banished to level one purgatory and told they will never do X or Y. Excuse me but becoming a professional ballerina was never the goal for us. We just wanted to get exercise, learn discipline, and have fun, not retire at 25 with a permanently damaged body while living on food stamps. ‍ If you have a child on the spectrum, I highly recommend finding an alternative. This studio is not neuroinclusive; they'll keep your kid down year after year after year until you finally get the hint and show yourself out the door. Spark, sometimes human beings matter more than the number of girls you brag about sending to summer intensives. You can still put on a beautiful production while allowing autistic girls to progress with their peers (not talking about pointe, talking about dignity and inclusivity). We have been coming for three months now and my little one asks EVERY morning if we are going to dance today. Alexis and Lindsay are so so patient with these kids. It's not uncommon for them to cry for the first or second class and not once did they make me feel bad about it. They are so calm and patient with them and do everything they can to make them comfortable. If they cry for 10+ minutes, they may ask them to leave the class because they obviously need their parents and it's becoming disruptive for the other children. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. You instantly feel like part of the family, they know your children's names at every class and call them by their name consistently. Very impressed with our time here and looking forward to many years in the Dance Deluxe family. This is very worth checking out, no matter what age your children are!

The teachers seems aloof and not kid friendly. The monthly payment is high, but probably comparable to other dance schools, however they make you pay for everything. The costume for the play was almost a $100, and I could have made a better job myself. The school sent a list of makeup items for the official play picture, and they were outrageously expensive; I feel sorry for some of the parent that felt compelled to buy them from the list. We decided to do it ourselves and the results were so much better! In addition to the monthly payment, the expensive costume, and make up, they also charge you a hefty fee for your kid to participate in the play. What is the point of the class then? Why are we paying the monthly payment to begin with? Isn't the play the culmination of a year of class? Oh, and both parents are required to buy tickets for the play (I would have thought that at least one parent would be free of charge since it's a minor participating), but the worst of all, they don't even reserve the tickets for you; you have to go into the system where everybody else is buying tickets, and good luck finding good seats. I don't mind paying a high price for things, but I need to see value for my money, and this school does not offer it.
