Here's a warning to future Wagner customers who live outside the Tyler area. I texted one of their salesmen on Memorial Day 2025 after finding my preferred CT5-V in their inventory. He responded the following morning and we began arranging the purchase. I live two hours away from Tyler, so everything was done over text, phone calls and email. I met this salesman two months ago when I visited the dealership for a test drive, so I felt comfortable with this approach. I offered to make a deposit to hold the car until I could visit the dealership the following weekend, but was told they don't take deposits. Over the course of a single business day, we negotiated a fair trade-in value and I agreed to pay cash for the remainder due. I received a final price quote from the sales office, and was then told I would need to immediately wire the remainder due from my bank account to secure the car under my name. I have never been asked by a dealership to secure a car purchase in this manner and found the request strange, but the phone number and email address were authentic so I reluctantly wired $46,000 to Wagner so I wouldn't lose the car. Unbeknownst to me, they were actively negotiating with another buyer for the same car at the same time and let her purchase the vehicle while I was arranging my wire transfer. This morning, I received an email saying my wire transfer was complete alongside a text message from Wagner saying "management made the decision to sell the car last night to another customer." For several hours, no one at the dealership could confirm receipt of my wire transfer, so I had to entertain the possibility that I had been scammed with fake routing information by a rogue employee. Ultimately they were able to reverse the wire transfer by the end of the day. I spent two hours on the phone with the finance manager and general sales manager who were apologetic, but they could not fully rectify the situation since the car was sold to someone else. I was told the employees involved were reprimanded and that HR has handled the matter internally. I asked to speak with the owner of the dealership given the gravity of the situation, but he was unavailable. Wagner Cadillac is owned by Gabriel/Jordan Auto Group who control seven dealerships across East Texas. If something like this can happen at their luxury dealership, you should approach all of their dealerships with extreme caution. If you are negotiating in person at the dealership, you're probably fine. But if you are attempting to purchase from elsewhere, do not send them any money. I've been bringing my car here for service for 7 years. Always had great service. Went for an oil change and tire rotation several weeks ago. After they took my car back service guy asked if I knew my tire sensor was out. I didn't. Told me it would be 150 to fix. I decided not to fix it because I'm thinking about selling it. When I left Wagner the tire sensor light was on and I had to physically turn it off. The reason I didn't know it was out was because it wasn't out until they took it in the shop. I have called and asked to speak with someone about this and to this date no one has called back. To add insult to injury, while my car was getting the oil changed I decided to look at a new car. There was a loaner that sounded like something I wanted. The salesman said they had a buyer for my current car for 11,000. The car was loaned out and I never saw it but was sent the sticker. It had the smaller engine. Not what I was looking for but they had one with a bigger engine for 64775. I looked at the website and that car was listed at 58000. I questioned him and he said the website was updating later that night with the higher price. It didn't. Salesman was stuck with a lie about giving me 11000 for my car. First off the 2021 Cadillac Escalade is a highly sought out vehicle and I would compare this to the Playstation 5 as you would have to line out 24hrs outside to get one. But like myself I did not pre order my Escalade therefore I had to call 27 Dealership around the world looking for one and when I called Wagner and spoke to Misty. Let me tell you her customer service skills and approach to customer far exceeded my expectations. I say that after calling 27 dealership and speaking to so many different sales person they all sound worn out and a bit irritated but after explaining everything I wanted to Misty. She took the time to just listen to what I was looking for and THANK YOU GOD!!!!! She said she has one that a customer backed out on so I can have that one. I waited about a month for the vehicle to be made and all that time she had an open communication and answered all my nagging text about the vehicle. Mind you, I drove 188 miles from Houston to Tyler, TX which was all worth it. Not even all my Cadillac dealers in Houston can compete with customer service. I've been searching for a car for a number of years, going back and forth from a sedan to a SUV to a truck. A few months ago I made up my mind and decided on an Acura MDX, specifically a 2010 MDX with low mileage and I am pretty picky. After visiting dealerships from Dallas to Austin to Houston, I found a great MDX at Wagner Cadillac. I drove a number of Certified Pre-Owned MDXs at diffrent Acura dealerships - I learned that most of these are auction buys they get on the cheap as they aren't in the best condition and they just badge them CPO vehicles and charge a premium. I made the trip out to Wagner on Saturday from Round Rock and was glad I did. They have been in business for 40 years and they are super helpful and friendly and they don't play games. The MDX was is excellent shape, my sales rep Robin was super helpful. When I got home I realized the headphones for the DVD player were missing, I contacted Robin, she couldn't find them so she bought a pair and mailed them to me - how cool is that? There are a lot of dealerships out there I will never set foot in again, but Wagner is an exception, I would definitely make the drive out there again if they had a vehicle I was in the market for. read more

I purchased a BMW 750Li from Wagner and I only drove theabout 140 miles and it shut down on me. My car was towed to Wagner who recommend I take it to BMW of Tyler after a day or so. BMW of Tyler confirmed the motor went out, engine locked up. I have been trying to get some help with this. I reached out to GM Matt Martin for 2 days. I called to talk to him the 1st day, I gave my name and was told he was in a meeting. I left my name and number and was told he would get the message and call me back. I called him again the next day, I gave my name and I was placed on hold was told he was away from his desk. I left my name and number again and he still never called me back. I have been treated like the dirt underneath my shoe, regarding this problem with a BMW I purchased here at Wagner that I have not even put 150 miles on. Beware, do not do business here. Go to BMW or Mercedes of Tyler if you are looking for a nice gently used luxury car. First of all I asked about an extended warranty myself from my salesman Rodney he told me the finance manager would discuss their extended warranty with me, but that never happened. Rodney my salesman did give me some information regarding the warranty but the finance manager never mentioned or gave me any details regarding an extended warranty. Second If the vehicle was thoroughly tested Wagner would have known the air conditioner had a very loud noise when I first test drove the car. I told my salesman Rodney I was not interested in the car because of the air conditioner problem. He said yeah it is a problem with it. Rodney sent the car back to the service department that same day while I was there to be repaired. He called me back the next day and told me the air conditioner problem was fixed. I should have followed my first mind and looked elsewhere , but me being the loyal person I am, I wanted to do business with Wagner. I had purchased a truck there the prior year (2018) and was treated right. Family and friends have had a good experience there as well. I will let them know how I was treated and advise them to look elsewhere when looking to purchase a vehicle. The bottom line is I purchased a pre owned car and the engine went out around 120 miles later, and it's like I'm sorry, that's your problem now, not mine. The repairs are paid for now by me, but if that's the way Wagner want to do business, fine, you lost a lifetime customer because you just simply didn't want to do the right thing. Car owners beware of the environmental protection services being offered through Wagner To protect the exterior of your car. The company they use is American Financial And the product is environmental protection. Supposedly it is supposed to protect your car I bought a new XT4 2019 from another dealer and took it to Wagner to have this "protection" applied. My XT4 is black and two days after I got it it rained and rather than protect my car I had major water spots all over it. It was like throwing $700 out of the window. In reading the Cadillac manual they Recommended not to have any after production sealant put on the car but they didn't tell me that and I found it in the manual later. The folks at Wagner were nice enough but I'm stuck with this product that makes my car look like a leopard if it rains read more

I would have to say that my experience with Wagner Cadillac has been the best by FAR. From the time I stepped on the lot, the sales rep, Rodney was great. They worked with me and I got a very good deal on our vehicle. Every time I've had a question with anything he has been there to help! When I noticed the key fob (on a used car) was cracked they ordered me a new one at no charge! When it needed servicing there were a few things that were questionable as to the warranty and the owner of the dealership made it right. And they put me in a brand new 2014 Cadillac as a loaner car. Most importantly to me, everyone that I dealt with discussed The Lord at some point. I felt that this was a Christian environment and that's where I'm most comfortable doing business. General manager admitted that they knew prior to selling that back hatch door was damaged by previous owner. They did not disclose and attempted to hide it! Said they would repair and increase price from $22640 to another sucker/customer. Very unethical and deceptive organization. GM did not take ownership of situation and shifted blame to salesman. I had just pulled into my garage and had just turned the engine off when I noticed that I had not pulled up far enough so I tried to start my car and that's when all hell broke lose. It was like my car was possessed. All the electronic components started flashing and clicking uncontrollably. Finally that stopped but I couldn't get the engine to shut off. That's when I called Wagner and got ahold of Jason Jewell the Service Manager and this was about 5pm when this all went down. He was able to contact Jack Rabbit Towing who came out and jumped my battery and I was able to drive it to Wagner and get the battery replaced due to a bad cell in the one that came on the car. I have nothing but great experiences working with the people at Wagner. They are a great place to buy a car. Would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new/used car to check them out first. If they don't have what you are looking for they can find it for you. I deal mainly with Rodney Rogers and just found a new fellow Longhorn friend in Michael Kennedy who works there too. Extremely disappointed with the service at Wagner Cadillac. There were black shoe prints on my carpet, car and door. They didn't replace the wheel well cover after replacing bulbs. They didn't use the bulbs I provided. They didn't tighten lug nuts properly and possibly broke one of the studs because I was missing a lug. They cracked some of the plastic off the bumper when they replaced bulbs. My oil looked just as dirty after it was 'changed'. The only reason for the 1 for recommend was because the owner and service mgr contacted me and offered to get my car and address the problems. We've been Cadillac customers for nearly 20 years in the Dallas area. Wagner could learn some lessons from those dealerships. We went in specifically for a loaner program vehicle, but were open to other options if it could be worked into our ideal payment range. No loaners were a color that I could live with so we asked if they had any coming up, we were told no. We decided to look out in the lot and see what else was there. I fell in love with an XT4 in a particular color and tried to work the numbers, but it just wasn't falling in place. They came down on the price only by the manufacturer rebate, and were offering us nothing on the trades, even said that we would owe them to take them. When I asked if there were any other vehicles in that color, the salesperson said no and didn't offer to see if he could find one for us. The sales manager didn't even come talk to us when it became apparent we were about to walk out the door. The dealerships in Dallas, in the past, have bent over backwards looking for the perfect car for me. We ended up going to Patterson Jeep in Tyler, who gave us $4700 for the trades and gave us a good deal on the price. When I got home, I looked online at Wagner's inventory and there were 2 cars in the loan program in the color I wanted, not available yet but not far from the mileage where they would be pulled for sale. I feel sad because I wanted that car, and would've waited for one to become available, and I feel angry that the dealership apparently didn't want my business. Shame on you, Wagner Cadillac, that is not the usual exemplary shopping experience we are accustomed to with the Cadillac brand. read more

I learned this week that Wagner charges $100 more on replacing a battery that any Cadillac dealership between 30 and 100 miles of Tyler. I was not told ahead of time that a battery with only a 3 year warranty would cost $399! I was shocked! When I went to pick the car up and complained, I was told there was a mistake made and it was "only" going to be $331....like that was realistic for a battery replacement. read more
