Second ramen restaurant I've been to in Norway. Again, very impressed to see noodle shops this far…read morenorth! Big change from when I first visited this counter in the 90's. The broth was a bit salty for my liking. Noodles were perfect, the size, the texture and firmness of the noodle was just how I like it. The meat was tender and melted in your mouth, the boiled egg yoke was overcooked. I like it when it's still soft. Gyoza was mostly meat, no veggies. Wouldn't order them again as I like my gyoza with more veggie and less meat. Service was quick. Parking is indoors, which is very advantageous for the cold months. Take the elevator up and you don't need to go outside! They share space with an Indian restaurant. There is a coat hanger and it's spacious. I would definitely come back here.

I like the texture of the ramen, tastes quite authentic, not the "make-believe" ones you get from most non-Japanese restaurants here in Norway. The ambience is rather quiet, but I wouldn't say its kids friendly or good for large groups of people. We ordered the spicy ramen (mostly likely spicy miso ramen, since the broth base is miso) and Tangi ramen, which has two pieces of fried chicken on top,m. However, the soup-base for the tangi didn't quite hit the spot for me. The price is average, around $15-$20 per bowl, which is a decent price in Oslo. Overall I like it and would come back again.

Above-average Vietnamese food with a way-above-average price tag. If you need a Viet food fix, you…read morecan definitely get it here, but dang it's expensive (I'm from the US). A bowl of pho is like $20 but that seems to be about the going rate in Europe. Beware this place can get super packed during peak hours so try to plan around that. Otherwise, I'd say this place is actually pretty good!

We were seated quickly and had time to look at the menu before ordering. My fiancé ordered the Pho bo (beef) and I ordered the pho ga (chicken). It's a little different from the usual pho we order because they include meatballs in pho bo (which normally would be a separate type of order) and the pho ga had marinated chicken. The broth was light and savory, with much of the flavor coming from the meat. It was so flavorful!! We also ordered the summer roll, a usual appetizer everywhere we go, which was packed well and had eggs and a tiny egg roll! I haven't had it like this anywhere else (not even back at home). It was also a great dish to start with before the main dish! The place can get pretty crowded but every time we've gone in we have been lucky to beat the dinner and lunch rush.

I was at this spot a while ago while in Oslo, I wanted something different and found this place,…read morewhat caught my attention were the names of the plates, each based off a certain city in different countries I'm assuming were visited by the owner of the place. I decided to order "Playa Tunco" named after a beach down in El Salvador that caters mostly to surfers from all around the world and which the place is named after I think. I waited about 10 minutes for the order, took my first bite and fell in love, really great fresh noodles with a mix of pork, veggies and egg Next time that I stop by Oslo I will again stop by to get some more Playa Tunco, the service is outstanding, and if I'm not mistaken and please correct me if I'm wrong but they only accept credit cards.

Apart from the food that was good and with very fresh and high quality ingredients, the service was very helpful and positive. The guy really made an effort to talk to us and walk us through the menu. Love the interior! It is such a hip place and I feel like Oslo needs more and more of these type of places that have a character. Works well for take out and to sit in.
