Overall: Underwhelmed-- don't expect rich flavors or anything near authentic Asian food. Came with the family on a busy Wednesday evening, but only had to wait about 10 minutes. Lots of diners both indoor and outdoor. Ordered the Positive Juice which was good! The cauliflower and satiated greens were too. Small for the price in my opinion. Entree Order: * shirodashi pork belly ramen The meat was good. The dish itself I didn't care for. It was as like a hybrid of phở (clear broth & rice noodles) tried the toppings of Tonkotsu ramen. It wasn't awful, but I was dissatisfied. My sister had the gyoza ramen and really didn't like it-- was lacking flavor. Our server seemed a little out of it: had a method of scribbling down our order on our placemats, brought a dirty water cup, faulted our order and seemed quite fed up. Not the greatest experience. Don't think I'd come back...

The firecracker prawn is really spicy. I tried to turn down the heat by getting a side of the sweet sauce and the rice in the side but it was too much. I ended up eating it but it was HOT!

    Chicken katsu curry and edamame

The only chicken katsu curry you need in your life. That's all. Obviously lots of other great things on the menu and the service is super quick so you can fit it into your lunch break for sure.

The worst ramen I've ever had in my life. Now that that's out of the way, this Wagamama is located within the lovely, modern Cardinal Place. We arrived around 8 p.m. and requested to sit outside to enjoy the unusually warm London weather. Patio closes at 9 and they advised us they would move us inside at that time. The BBQ pork buns were probably my favorite of the meal. The meat was spicy and the Japanese mayo was a nice touch. The Chicken Katsu Curry was delicious and a very generous portion. The Chili Ramen was terrrribleeee. I got the top sirloin and it was inedible- tough, chewy, and no flavor. The copious amount of raw onion on top made the broth taste disgusting. Service was attentive and friendly. I'd go back and skip the ramen.

    Duck gyoza

Located at the upper level of Cardinal Place, this place was very crowded and extremely noisy. The tables were set up cafeteria style. If you don't mind hearing the other parties gossiping loudly next to you, then you may just tolerate this place. My sister and I came in at around 7:30pm on a Wednesday night. The place was packed and again, noisy. We waited for about 15 minutes to be seated. The server gave us maybe 30 seconds before coming by asking if we were ready to order. We got two side dishes to try, duck gyoza and pork belly steamed buns. The gyoza was crunchy. The dipping sauce complimented the duck nicely. The steamed bun was thick but fluffy, and the Sriracha gave a nice kick to my taste bud. I ordered the duck donburi while my sister ordered the grilled chicken ramen (sorry, no pic of the ramen). The duck was a bit dry. I think it would've been better if the egg was cooked over-easy so the gooey yoke could be mixed in with the rice. That's just my preference. There are many different other restaurants in the area to choose from. I do NOT recommend coming to this place. The noise was a big factor. Although the meal was not expensive, I felt that I could've gotten better food for around the same price at another restaurant.

    Ginger chicken udon

I've been reading that Wagamama is good for ramen but I didn't end up ordering that. It was a hot day so I really didn't feel like eating something with hot broth. So I opted for the ginger chicken udon. They use pickled ginger, which I was a bit iffy about at first since I'm not usually a fan. But this was actually really good. The flavor paired well with the saltiness of the noodles. The chicken tasted a bit leftover-y but I still ate everything since I was starving. We have one Wagamama location in NYC so I'll probably go and try the ramen there (though I'm sure it won't be as good). Tip - Wagamama is good for a quick sit down lunch. The food comes out pretty quickly, so you'll be in and out in about 45 minutes or so.

Visited for lunch and we were seated within 10 minutes on a busy afternoon. We ordered the shiitake mushroom donburi, which was flavoursome but slightly dry. The veg ramen was excellent and the chicken raisukaree was the best dish we had. Perfectly flavoured and good amount of veggies I would go back for this dish. The service was fantastic and very friendly. Love this place.

Came here on a chilly London day to have a slice of their delicious white chocolate ginger cheesecake. I highly recommend giving it a try!! *Bonus: they serve alcohol!

The ramen it's really so comercial, basic. Really bad ramen. I am not going to try it again.
