We made our first visit to Waffles 'N More recently. We were told it was THE place for breakfast in the valley, and we were not disappointed. They have some very creative waffle creations, lots of different omelets, benedicts, and all of the other breakfast staples. It was so hard to choose what to order! Every time I go get waffles I let my stomach do the thinking. This place has the biggest portions ever but that waffle, with just butter and huckleberry syrup, Claude have mercy! I consider myself an expert in the art of wafflery. There is nothing worse than a waffle that's too dry, crispy on the outside and airy in the middle or under cooked. Well, this place doesn't do any of that. They make a perfect Belgium waffle that will absorb the butter as well as the syrup not reaching over saturation and ending up a nasty soggy mess. I should have just got waffles but I knew I needed protein so I got an omelet that came with a waffle. This is were I went wrong. That omelet is huge, delicious and packed with all the good stuff. It was everything I could do to finish it. Those young ladies never let my coffee cup drop below half and once I was done, I needed a nap. Alas I had hours to drive and I was all out of excuses. Well they managed to score bonus points with me because they took the time to cut the steak into bite size pieces before placing it on the perfectly cooked lightly crunchy potatoes and before smothering it all with tasty gravy mmm mmm. Lewiston is very limited so go here when you want a solid breakfast. The waffles are yummy fluffy and light. The eggs are solid as is the sausage. Wow, what a busy place on a Sunday morning! We had reservations for our large group (coordinated with Carol) and got seated within a few minutes of arrival. Our server was attentive and took good care of all in our group. Beverages and meals were correct and accurate and beverages as well. We never had to wait for coffee/water refills. We just had breakfast here and were very happy with everything. Daughter ordered the lemon meringue waffle, I had the California omelette, some had meat lover skillet, chicken fried steak. Daughter said the waffle was too lemony for her and the waitress was willing to get her a new waffle but husband and daughter switched so there was no need for a new waffle but I loved that the establishment was willing to make everyone happy! Also they gave us a local hot sauce to try and we loved it so much that we bought it as well as the green pepper sauce. Service was amazing! Waitress, Michelle, was super nice and helpful. I ordered eggs Benedict and has been ordered country fried steak scramble. I asked for my poached eggs to be solid whites and runny yolks. They came out running all around. Michelle had no problem having them remake the eggs, they came back and were solid all the way through. I did not send them back a second time. The hollandaise sauce was very vinegary, I prefer creamy and less acidic - not marking down for, just an FYI for those who prefer their hollandaise sauce a certain way. read more

This was a fabulous find. There were 6 of us and we were in a little bit of a time crunch. We ordered off the menu and it wasn't easy. They offered all kinds of breakfast items. Our daughter had no issue in picking something out. Once ordered it only took about 15 minutes to get served. Amazed out how fast the food came out. The waitress was so attentive that it was awesome. We love going here for breakfast. Its a nice place and you get lots of food for the price. The weekends are very busy but weekdays are not so bad. This time we went on a monday. My husband and i both got omelets him with a waffle and mine with biscuits and gravy and a side of bacon. We were enjoying our food when i noticed my omelt was not cooked all the way through in the center. (Having eatten the first half) we talked to our server who offered to replace it a half omlet. This was perfect as i am pregnant and cant have undercooked eggs. We got the other half and it was made perfectly. Biscuits and gravy are hands down the best around. The Biscuits were light and fluffy and the gravy was super yummy. My husbands waffle was also super yummy. Crispy outside soft on the inside. We left full and happy. The staff here are amazing. I literally have no idea why everyone raves about waffles N more. It is terrible. We knew they would be busy, waited for 20 minutes to get a table. We felt like the waitress was trying to rush us in and out of there, like it's a fast food joint. She was busy, but didn't take time to refill our very weak coffee. When she finally came by with the pot, the coffee was so watery, I could see right through it. Our food was just mediocre at best. They serve your food on plastic plates!! This place is very loud, and has a cafeteria vibe. Not a comfy, relaxing breakfast by any means. And our server slapped our check down and ran off, failing to explain we needed to go to the front, and be rung up at the register.
